Armaan 'Ridhima I never knew that you have to go through such humiliation. Now that Sidharth will have to pay the price of every action he inflicted on you.

Ridhima 'Armaan what are you planning to do? Please don't do a thing otherwise Sidharth will destroy my Muskaan's life. Please I beg of you.'

Armaan 'Ridhima do you trust me?'

Ridhima 'of course Armaan I trust you that is y I told you my secret.'

Armaan 'Ridhima then trust me I wont let Sidharth do any harm to you. Just give me a few days and I bet you will never regret your decision. As Muskaan is your baby sister she is also my sister. I told you Muskaan and u r my only family left. And believe me when it comes to protect the ones I care for no one stop me from doing the impossible.'

Ridhima ' ok Armaan but the problem is how will u stop Sidharth from reaching out to me. He can easily go to police and can get to me.,

Armaan 'Ridhima don't worry. I told you to leave it all to me.'

With that Armaan strode out of the room with a ruthless and determined look on his face.

After a few days:-

Armaan 'Ridhima Ridhima where are you.'

Ridhima 'what is it. I am in kitchen here.

Armaan 'what the hell are you doing in kitchen. I told you to rest and not to work.'

Ridhima'don't worry Armaan I am fine. I was getting bored and teddy had an emergency today. His mother was not well. So I told him to take the day off. He was so reluctant in doing so that I literally have to throw him out. So I was in kitchen cooking a meal for 3 of us. Is Muskaan home with you. I made her favorite dish- Lasagna. I am almost done with it.'

Armaan 'no Muskaan has not come home yet but she will soon. Rahul will drop her in an hour. I gave her half a day off because Rahul wanted some time with her. And by the way I love lasagna too. So madam chef if your done with your cooking can you serve me please as it is I am starving and I can't wait to be finished with our meal so that I can talk to you.'

Ridhima 'Armaan what is it? Please tell me na.'

Armaan 'nope until we are finished with our food and definitely not in front of Muskaan. And before you worry yourself to death let me tell you that's its related to Sidharth and not something bad but definitely something pleasant you can look forward to. So hurry up and get started.'

Ridhima ,Armaan its not fair. I won't be able to digest a single morsel of my food. Please please tell me now na.'

Armaan 'now darling don't you please me. I said I will tell u after the meal. So get moving n lay down the table. I will be back in 10 mins after I freshen up.'

While they were eating Muskaan came home n said she wasn't very hungry. Rahul n she had dinner at a fabulous dinner at seaside restaurant. she was very tired so she retired to bed early. Armaan and Ridhima were having dinner and Armaan could clearly see that Ridhima was toying with her food. She has not eaten more than a few bites. So he decided that Muskaan is not here now so he as well break up the news to her so that she can eat in silence.

Armaan 'enough. Stop toying with your food Ridhima. Ok here it is. I told you to trust me right. And I thank you for that. '

He went to the side table and got a file and gave it to Ridhima.

Armaan 'read it Ridhima. Its for you.'

When Ridhima read what was in the file she was stunned that those were the papers for which Sidharth was blackmailing her for. And besides those there were a few legal documents signed by Sidharth stating that he deliberately made those forged papers of Muskaan's illness to blackmail her. Also that he is ready to divorce Ridhima because unlike her he also felt that there marriage is not working. What Ridhima could could not understand was how was that all possible.

When she looked up at Armaan with question filled eyes. Armaan explained her.

Armaan ' don't worry Ridhima I didn't do something illegal. Just got help from a few of my friends and see your work is done. Here let me explain. When you told me about what Sidharth had done I could not control my rage. So I went out for a drive. My dad taught me one thing to never react to anything when u r angry. I was angry when I took revenge for my parents n after that I never got peace of mind. So now for once in my life time I took his advice and worked upon it. I have a friend Shiv who is police force. I asked for his help n he arrested Sidharth for drinking excess and arguing with a bar tender in a club. He interrogated Sidharth as to where were the papers he kept but he said nothing. Then we called a friend of ours – Shubhankar Malhotra who is a doctor in Sanjeevani hospital and explained him the whole situation. He said that he has the perfect solution to make Sidharth speak. He gave him an injection of sodium pentobarbital which makes a person speaks truth without him/her realizing that they r doing it.(hey friends I have just used a name of a chemical which I am not sure is correct . So no harm done to medical science . plz its just imagination .) And with that he told us that he have kept those papers hidden in his wardrobe which has a special locker hidden in wall n cannot be located easily. While Sidharth was confessing this Shiv was also there and he threatened Sidharth that has commited a serious crime n would be punished severly for that. Sidharth got frightened and he agreed to do whatever to have his freedom. So Shiv n I decided that we should first ask him to sign that all the proofs he held against Muskaan was forged papers he created. And secondly we got your divorce papers signed. Ridhima I am really sorry that we didn't ask you whether u want to get divorce from Sidharth or not. But believe me never in my life will I ever allow u n Muskaan to be near that dork Sidharth. Consider it arrogance or what ever u want but its not happening in this life.'

Ridhima was stunned to hear all this n needed to come around the fact that the nightmare was finally over. She felt numb. She stood up cleared the table and went back to kitchen to started tyding up. Armaan waited anxiously as what will Ridhima say and when she said nothing for around 15 mins he decided he had enough. He went to kitchen n pulled Ridhima out. She came without any fight. Armaan was angry.

Armaan 'dammit Ridhima say something. Did I hurt u with my decisions? Say something if u r angry then shout at me .'

Ridhima looked up and she had tears in her eyes. She said 'Armaan what have I done to receive such a friend like u. I dont know what to say. I am speechless. As far as I can remember it has always been me who has been fighting continuously for me n Muskaan. I dont ever remembered who it feels like to be cared for. U came like a savior in my life n dealt with all my problems yourself. How can I thank you enough I dont know. What u have done for me n Muskaan is beyond imagination. Thank u so much. And I would like to know what happened to Sidharth?'

Armaan 'pheww…………Ridhima for a second u scared me to death. I thought u r angry with me for getting those damn divorce papers signed. And hey don't thank me. I did nothing for you. It was my for myself I did. I am greedy person when it comes to those I love. So I did it for myself so that I won't loose those whom I love. And as far as Sidharth is concerned he is being punished for his sins. Don't worry I didn't do anything to him. He was hiding somewhere from police because arrest warrants has been issued for him for stealing money from the account of the firm he used to work for. As you must have heard the name of Bajaj Accountancy firm. The owner Mr. Bajaj found out that he has stolen a great chunk of money from the account by hacking into the computer system and was soon caught. He tried to cover his tracks well but as it says that lies has no feet to stand upon. So now he is in jail and is going to rot there for rest of lives.So now take that sorry of yours back and relax. And if u want to thank me u can do one thing for me.'

Ridhima'what is it Armaan? tell me I can do anything to thank u. Sidharth got what he deserved and I am very grateful to you for seeing us through it.'

Armaan' ok. Here it is. To thank me all u have to do is cook those delicious mind blowing meals for me everyday. That will be my prize. So what say you agree or not'

Ridhima' what just cook. That's it. If u haven't asked me then also I would have cooked for you everyday. Teddy let out your secret today – that u r big foodie. So I agree to it.'

Armaan 'great thanks sweetheart! I am very tired gotta go n rest some little. See u tomorrow morning.

And with that Armaan went off. Ridhima smiled n said 'stupid, moron.'

Hey friends I am really very very sorry for not updating my ff for quite a long time n believe me when I say it I was not well again. So couldn't come online even my inbox is full. But now that I am fine I will try to update regularly but cant promise that I will be able to update twice a week may be just once. I hope you guys can understand my problem.
