Right guies here is the bit that I have changed,the one highlighted in red , basically I want to start the story from the present track so here it goes.On the night of Teej sid over hears a part of AR conversation about the night when the get slightly intimate.Sid is quite hurt and leaves.Rids runs after him and Arman after her. Sid drives off but Arman is hit by a passing truck and he is taken into accidents and emergency. Sid is shattered, he has tears in his eyes'Hamari shadhi yeh sabh ek natak tha..Voh Arman jise mie apne bade bhayi ki tarah manta thaa voh esa karega maine socha nahi thaa.. Sid is absolutely shattered, he goes into his room and spends the entire night thinking.In the morning he gets a text from JP saying Arman is admitted in the hospital.

Sid( in a composed manner ) : Ridhima hows Arman ?

Ridmima: his condition has stabilised, he should be transferred to the ward soon

Sid: ummmm''. I wanted to speak to U about us

Ridhimma: not now Sid right now Arman is who is important

Sid: but what what about our relationship and the new revelation.

Ridhima: Sid Arman is really ill I need to take care of him, rest we can talk about later '''.I hope U understand

Sid: fine! I just wished if u ever care about me and our relationship as much as u do about Arman, wished I was ever on you priority list '

Rids: sid essa nahi hai..

Rids opens her mouth to stop him but he fumes away. Sid, hope kit um samjogee..right now its important for me to to stay here I can explain things to him on another instances she thinks..

Sid goes home books his ticket for next flight to Hutson, visits his lawyer and finishes all formalities for a divorce'he also makes a request that the lawyer should get this ASAP and should not bother him at all after he leaves for Hutson. He also pays him a blank cheque '.After this he comes home packs his back leaves a small note for Rids :'I am leaving , My lawyer will contact you for a divorce. Please don't try to track me I want to be alone. If you want to make any claims for any of my property and any allegations so that things become easy then do it.I am leaving our engagement ring with this note

Sid is looking out his office, which is on the 19^th floor of Great Olmands' street hospital, London. Cheh saal hogaye hai ajj uss incident kooo, hmmm'

He has a disappointed smile on his face, he puts his glasses back..

There is a knock on his door, come in '

Sid : yes Dr Phill how can I help you

Dr Phill : Sid ! I wanted to tell you something '

Sid: What ?

Dr Phill: There is a medical conference in India on 20^th of this month I want you to represent our hospital there ..u have to do a small presentation, I will forward all the details later

Sid: umm ..20^th ? isn't that 4 days from today ?

Dr Phill: yess..listen Sid I am really sorry about the short notice, there is no other senior doctor who is free at this moment apart from you, also from you are an India so I reckon U will be more comfortable in that place than any other docts..plus this will be a wonderful opportunity to develop yourself as a doc so please..

Sid: where about is this in India ?

Dr Phill : Its in Sanjeevani hospital, Mumbai

Sid: what!! Sanjeevai hospital

Dr P: yh apparently its one of the best hospitals in India ..Please say u can make it

Sid think for a minute''Its been 6yrs I have been running around staying away from my past, training myself so that I can face it when it comes to me again..come on Siddy u can do it after all u have to face it one day..

Sid : ( clears his throat ) okay Doc I will make it to Mumbai for 20^th

Few days later

Sid has boarded the flight, he had his supper and was checking through his diary to scan through the details of the conference . He opens the page of the diary '20^th September' ..he sees Sanjeevani hospital written, he takes his glasses of and closes his eyes. A trail of events run through his mind..right from day one at sanjeevani to meeting Ridhimma at the airport'as soon as the picture of Ridhima pops up in his mind his eyes open 'y am I thinking about someone elses wife, meri zindagi bhi strange hai. I fall for girls who have already fallen with other guies.anyhow hope she is happy.errrr what am I thinking ..yeh sab salo purani kahani aj me aur mera kame bus yehi hai mere samne rest all is nothing..yh ofcourse apart from Rahul who is my life'.6yrs ago when everything was taken away from me I was also blessed with him so I guess I should rather be happy for atleast I have him. At the moment I am in Mumbai for one day so lemme get my work done and head off as soon as possible'Sid falls asleep, he opens his eyes after few hours to find that they were few minutes away from the destination. The fight lands, he makes his way through the immigrations and on his way outside. When he bumps into a lady,she looses her balance and ends up in Sids arms ..Sid was about to say W*H when he notices it was Ridhima.His face claims a serious gesture, he quickly balances her back on to her feet and leaves the pace ASAP without looking back.

Rids who is still in the shock of being held by Sid has now turned back to look back into the direction Sid had earlier gone but was disappointed to find no one'

Sid wises off as quick as possible and gets a cab and makes his way to the hotel he was staying at..

Once he has freshen up he indulges himself with the preparations for his meeting inorder to keep his mind of things that had happened earlier on in the airport. 'Another 24 hours and then I will be gone he says to himself'

Shanky to raj: lagtha hai humara plan is working already

Anjie: thoo vaha kya ho reha thaa?

Rids: kuch nahi sid accidently walks fell on me

Anjie: ooo

Rids: pls dee esa kuch nahi hai, aur vaise bhi he hates me

On the other hand

Everyone gets cracking with the arrangements, its evening and almost everyone is ready .Sid comes out in a white sherwani,

Imagination is destroyed when he recalls arman's face.Sid goes and entangles her in his arms and walks her to where matt is standing

Sid: btw u look gorgeous ( in a low voice to neeta)

Neeta: thanku

Sanjeev administers the ceremony and its time for ring exchange.Rids is in a happy mood and looks at Sid and remembers how he proposed to her .

Sid looks at rids : aj yeh lamha naa jane une yadoon ka taza kar reha hai jine maine bahut pehle daba diye thee mere andar ..yeh yadein humshe muje tumse jodthi thii..

The ceremony starts and its time for ring exchange, Neeta has her ring ready and she quickly grabs it from her dad .Hoeever, there is lil problem

Sid: wait its gonna take u half an hour of drive to get to the jewllers and to come back don't worry I have got few rings.Give me a second I wil be back now, he goes up the stairs into the room and opens his wardrobe, where from a closet he pulls a small ring box in which there are two rings.He comes down with box

Sid: here take this matt there are two rings in there , choose which ever one u like

Sid: down't worry these rings are of no use to me now, u better have them

Rids wondered why he was speaking such.

Sid hands it over to Matt.He picks a ring out of it and sees something written on it

Sid recalls that this was the ring that he wanted to gift on teej night but nothing such ever happened..

Sid: voh..it doesn't mean anything just relics from past..( in a disappointed tone)

Rids is looking at Sid with tearful eyes.

Sid: sure

Matt: thanks bro

Sid: no problem

They exchange rings and next its dance time, everyone is dragged on the dance floor however sid and rids stay away and they stand opposite to each other on two ends.He puts his hand into his pocket when he feels the ring box in there,he takes it out and holds it in his palm and decided to go into his room to put it back.Rids who is watching all this decided to follow him.He goes up the stairs through the corriodors into the room. He walks into the room, looks at the box for a bit and then opens it , he sees the ring with SR written on it meanwhile rids reaches outside the room and is watching him from a distance.He spreads his fingers over 'sr' 'two names, infact two people who got sepreated 6yrs ago but their names are still joined in certain relics from the past 'sid gives a faint disappointed smile'

Sid closes it and places it back in his wardrobe, he then walk across to a picture which was of abhi-niki..he picts up the frame ,spreads his fingers on abhi's picture

Sid ( loud as he is talking to the his bro): I miss u bro, aje bahut akeela huuu kash ape sath hote ( with tears in eyes), patha hai aj jab mai ridhima ke sath arrangements kar reha tha thoo purane din yaad aa gaye, akhir apke engagement par he thoo hum ne sath pehli bar kam kiya thaa aur voh sath vaha se lekar shadhi thak phir kahi mite gaya'ek risha jiska koyi vajooth nahi thaa'bhayi ape kyo chele gaye , mai bahut akela huu,bahut ..bayi agar ape hote thoo meri mushkil mie sath dethe..lekin kismet ne ape ko bhi mujse se door kar diya .Sid closes his eyes and tears slide down his eyes.

Rids who is listening to what sid said is quite upset and has tears for him..

Sid opens his eyes wipes his tears and goes into the wash room to wash his face.Meanwhile rids makes her way down,few minutes later she finds him coming down too.Meanwhile the photographer is busy taking pictures he takes lads of family pictures and then later on Rahul comes to sid dragging rids along

R: Dady kya hum ek pict ridhima aunty ke sath lay sakthe hai

S: he looks at rids , nahi beta we shouldn't trouble anyone I am sure she has more important work to do ( rids is disappointed to hear that)

R: dad please'please

Meanwhile sapna walks in

R: sapna aunty dady ko kaho na ki who mere aur ridhima aunty ke sath ek picture lay..pls

Sapna: aree mane javona sid, rahul ki kwahish hai na

S: thik hai

The photographer come along and is setting them to a pose

Sid picks rahul up in his arms and stands at a distance from rids.

P: aree sir please come closer

Sid moves a bit closer, he looks at ridhima uncomfy and then at the photographer

Sid: its k we are fine

P: thoda aur sir bus a lil bit more, just ek ache short ke liye.

Finally they are so close that their fingers are touching, they look at each other as their fingers brush past.

P: sir just put Ur hands around on to her shoulder

Sid: huh? With a confused look,

P: please

Rahul: come on pa

Sid looks at rids in gesture of asking permission

R: she nods sighning a yess

Sid: he raises his hand extends it towards rids shoulder while she is watching his hand, it comes around to her shoulder and drives her closer to Sid, she hits his chest.Another rare moment of closeness it was for them, they gaze into each other eyes knowing how much they both needed to be with each other yet couldn't acknowledge.Sid lowers his head down to rids ears getting too close, her hair brushing past his face as the breeze blows, he remembers how he has missed the softness of her hair.She could feel his breath on her ear.

Sid: ( in a low voice) I know this is uncomfortable for you but just bare with us 4 a bit..

P: look here people

They all look up,

P: smile everyone

And they had the perfect family shot.As soon as the shot is over Sid places Rahul down and he thanks rids and run to simi.The photographer leave too.Now its only sid and rids, Sid looks up at her .She too looks into his eyes

S: I am sorry about this Rahul gets a bit stubborn at times.

R: don't worry I understand, its kids

S: thanks btw

R: for what ?

S: for baring with us for this long

R : don't be'( sids fone rings)

He picks up and looks at it , it was max

S: excuse me

He walks away from rids and she looks at him

Sid on the phone

S: hi max..how are u?

M:I am good thanks and u

M: yh basically there is a village down in the newman's valley which about 4 hours drive from here, the kids there are due fr the annual check up but I forgot to schedule docs for that before my fault, I am sorry about this Dr modi, they want us to be there before monsoon starts so I thought why not then get it ASAP as it's the onset of monsoon already,

S: okay..when do they want me to get there ?

M: tomorrow evening possibly, I will get someone to cover you.Also, I can send another doc to assist you

S: yh thats fine by me .

M: thanku sooo much sid,Dr ridhima is free tomorrow night so I will send her with you

S:NOO..

M: huh?

S:ehhh! I mean is there any other doc who could possibly assist me or may be I could go alone

M: I can't send u alone either, only doc ridhima is free so I am afraid it will have to be her..y do u have any problem working with her

The after party carries on and he never gets around to speak to rids.It almost end time now, when sanjeev comes up with this'

Raj: shadhi aram se honi chahiye, aur uske liye tayari bhi honi hai, aur sab se pehle pandit ko bulakar muharat bhi nikalna hai

Neeta: its k dad we want our wedding to be a miny affair just with us lot in this beautiful place aur muhurat and stuff we don't believe in such things

N's dad: lekin beta yeh sab rasme aur rewase hai 'and we have too keep

Matt: there is no point in such things, love is all that matters aur we need a traditional wedding we want a modern wedding with a minister rather than a pandit

Raj: yeh aj kal ke bache bhi na

Sid( interrupts): in rasmo revaso mai koyi point nahi yeh hume zindagi sikha thee( rids looks up to sid and she knows y he is talking like that)

R in her mind: may be all the looses in his life has made him this hostile

S: what matters is dilo ka milna, ( he looks up t rids, their eyes are meeting) agar pyar na ho thoo any relationship is failure

Sanjeev: tries to lighten the situation as he sees the bulding tention in Sid's words.. uncle yeh log sadhi keh rahe hai all that matters is love phir chahe shadhi madir mie ho ya masjith mie, London ya shimla, what links them together is god, in love.

Raj: aj kal ke bache bhi na

N's : jaise tum logo ki marzi

Sanjeev: thoo wedding ka ka plan kare ?

Matt: we were thinking this Friday and then mehndi on the day before on thursday

Sanjeev: why so early

Neeta: because after next week,our holidays are finishing, secondly this is Sid's final we in India his job's gonna be over by sat and he is back by next fight and then its hard to get him back to India for anything so get things done while we are here

Rids looks up to Sid in pain, he senses her gaze and looks at her 'sid is going back agin I forgot it was his last week ..

They talk to each other in their mind

R:kyat tum ruk nahi sakthe, tumhare lote jane se muje farak padtha, in saloo mai bhale he tum muje bhool choke ho lekin mai tum se pyar karti hoo

S: bahut koshish kee hai tumhe bool ne ki aur bahut mushkil se apni zindagi maine sawari hai, its best ki mai lote javuu, ab mai purane zakhmo ko taza hote huve nahi dekh saktha'

Sanjeev: right guies pay attention so this is fixed then, Matt will wed neeta on Friday and then mehandi and other stuff on Thursday and we all will work together as a team and get things done..aur haa jab tak shadhi nahi ho jathi tab take neeta and matt cannot see each other or live in the same house.mat will stay here with us and neeeta hmm ?

Shashank: neeta can stay at ours

Everyone together cheers for what sanjeev said.The night carries on few more hour and soon its time for everyone to leave, shanky and his family are heading towards their car and everyone is outside to see them off,Neeta too has packed her stuff to leave with them,everyone is walking ahead of them while Sid, matt and rids are walking together.However matt quicly moves forward to see of neeta, its sid and rids walking together now..They both look aound and then sid starts

S: Dr ridhima vohh

R: we are outside duty hours so tum muje ridhima bula sakthe hoo and smiles

S: ( doesn't say anything to that) voh max called

R: yh he did call me tooo

S: oo! So u know tomorrow evening's plan..I am sorry we are together again in this ..

R: dw its professional stuff

S: bound by duty

Everyone is in the car Anjalie calls for rids

R: hmm bi ( in her mind to sid ' thanks 4 this beautiful night ')

Anajie, neeta, rids and atul are in the same car,Matt is still standing near the window of the car speaking to neeta

Sanjeev: oo mere majnu come back theyneed to get home

Both sid and rids hear that and look at each other

Sid in his mind : shuru mai bhi dooriya thii aur voh ajj bhi haiii, mai kuch zaydha he zindagi se expect kar reha tha jab maine tum se shadhi ki..

Rids: sid muje naa jane essa kyon lagtha hai ki although tum upar se mere towards bahut cold ho lekin kahi nah kahi tum aj bhi mujse pyar karte hoo'

Sid: abe yeh sab soch kar kya fayida hum fir see door ho jayenege after Sunday this time humesha humesha ke liye..yehi hum dono ke liye acha hai

Sid looks away, finally matt walks away from the car window girls inside wave at the guies outside and rids has her eyes fixed on sid while drivin off..Sid looks in her direction for few seconds and then looks away.

Afterwards everyone goes back into their rooms.Anjie now requests rid to live at hers until the wedding is over.Next day in the afternoon its about 5pm, time for sid and rids to leave.they both are walked to the parking slought by Max..

Sid: mere pass map hai lekin kya tumhe rastha patha hai.?

Rids: I don't know how to to get there but ha highway thake ka rastha patha hai '

S: alright ek karthe hai mai age jatha hu apni gadi mie aur tum muje follow kar lena

S: aur ha ..kya tumhare pass mera number hai ?

S: wait I have ur's I will give u a miss call aur save kar do and then call me if there is any emergency..

They both get into their respective cars and leave .Sid goes ahead and rids follow him.Its been half-an hour and they are driving through the road '

R: this might be last med-camp with sid and also last few days with him..she thinks

Suddenly her car comes to an hault, she gets out and checks and finds her engine's not working, it was getting dark.Sid was way ahead of her although she was ment to follow him.She takes he phone out to call but then its out of range.Sid suddenly realises that he wasn't being followed by ridhima anymore. He pulls in to the side of road and dials her number but her unfortunately its out of range.Its getting dark I wonder where she is, also its not safe for a girl to be out here on her own.So he decides to drive back to rids.On the other hand rids is continuously trying her fone but its out of range'.its getting dark and this place is a bit dogy may be I should try for a lift. Meanwhile a jeep drives past her, they pull in seeing her and out comes 2 outlaws, they seemed dojy so rids decided to walkway from them.They start to chase her and rids starts running to flee from them.Rids suddenly gets short of breath and was about to give up, when Sid drives in he sees her being chased. He stops the car and runs towards her.The outlaws who have seen sid running towards rids turns around and flee.Sid catches up rids

S: ridhima tum heek tho ho

Rids collapses in Sids arms, she hugs him tightly not letting go off him, sid senses that she is scared and soothes her back , he wraps his arms across

R: sid! voh (she is breathing heavily )

S: don't worry ridhima mai aa gaya hu na tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga..

Sid takes of his jacket and wraps it around her

S: ( he pulls it around her chest)its k don't worry .

He puts his arms around her waist and leads her into the car, he seats her and makes comfy, he closes the door and gets in from the other end into the driver's seat 'he sees rids still shaking.He moves across to hold her,he holds her face up

S: don't worry mai aagaya hu naa

He takes a bottle of water from his rucksack and passes it to her.

S: have some water ,

Rids drinks it and she feels much calmer, sid now starts driving towards her car.He stops near her car and waits before he could speak to her..

S: feeling better

R: haa

Wait in here mai abhi aya'Sid goes outside looks at her car and sees the engine is broke,he kind of gets an idea of what happened.He gets into the car grabs her phone and her bag and puts that into his car. He then pushes the car to the side of the road , Takes the key and locks it. He walks back to his car and fastens his seat belts.He turns around to rids

S: tum thik ho na

R: ha

S: tumhara fone aur bag peeche hai aur yeh rehi tumhari car ki keys yaha rak reha hu , kal subah kisi mechanic ko bijva doonga lene ke liye.

R: nods her head

S: acha lets resume with our journey now.

It was dark and was starting to rain.Sid starts the car and begins to drive, after 15mins of drive rids is still quite, she seemed to absorbed in her thoughts.

S: lagtha hai rids abhi bhi dari huvi hai wait ek kam karta hu.He reached his fone which on speaker and presses his home number .He knew this would catch rid's attention and it indeed did.

S: rahul ! ape soye nahi

R: nahi apse gd nyt kahe bagair nahi sounga, vaise mie apko phone karne e wala thaa

Rids is now listening to the conversation, her minds starting to be taken off from the previous incident..

S:thoo how was ur day

R: it was gd paaa but I missed u I havn't seen u today at all and won't see u until tomorrow..

S: kya karu beta kam he essa hai..So what happened in school today.

Rahul narrates everything that had happened in the school including how his friends teased him for not having any siblings and other funny stories.To which both rids and sid laugh.Sid catches his glance at rids when she was laughing'' I havn't seen that sight in ages'

R: pa ap kisi lady ke sath ho kya

S: ha voh mai Dr ridhima ke sath hu , hume kam se kahi jana tha

R: pa can I speak to her

S: thinks' this will help rids to recover from what happened earlier so he rotates the holder in her direction and says' lo bath karo' Rahul wants to speak 2 u

Rahul and ridhima has a very sweet conversation, he liked the way rids could handle rahul'after a while being on phone rids rotates the holder back to sid ''rahul wants to speak to u'

S: ha bolo beta

R: pa I need a lil baby sis

Sid stops his car when he heard that

Sid: kya ?

R: dad everyone in school has one y can't I have one

Rids sees the uncomfyness in his eyes

S: errm..rahul u know what tumhare sab doston ke bros and sis hai lekin tum mere ek bte ho , u r my only one aur jo only one hote hai voh hai special if u have anodr baby sis then u no more would be 'the only one' isiliye

Rids loves the way how sid switches to a childish tone to speak to a kids, she hasn't seen that in a long time so was enjoying this moment.

Sid: good boys never say 'its ' or 'buts', they just hear what their pas's say'soo are u my lil good boy

Rids in her mind 'sid bhi bacho se khellte khelte kudhe bacha ban gaya hai, lekin he looks cute mera wooh purana cute doctor'

Rahul : yes pa

Sid: soo be good then and I will get you a surprise gift on the way back

Sid hangs up and stares at the phone for a while with a cute smile, rids who is gazing at him admires this innocent smile of his.The mood in the car is now much more relaxed and calm, it seem like the convo with rahul has eased both sid and rids, and helped rids to overcome her previous memory from tonight..Sid realises that he is ment to be getting somewhere, so quicly turns his attention to the car and starts driving again.

Rids: rahul bahut he pyara bacha hai

Sid: hmm ( smiles) haaa bahut he pyara

They both smile , as they both drive down further the car stops behind a long stand cars,

R: kya hua

S: patha nahi ,age caro ki lambi line hai

sid lowers the glass on his windows and tries too look ahead but its raining heavily soo he canot keeps the open for long as water drips in..he half closes it and was about to close the rest when he saw a guy walk past him.He quicly lowers the glass again

S: aree bhayisab suniye thoo

The man walks away and sid pulls the mirrior up..his hair is slightly wet because of the water that has dripped in

Sid looks around and finds a daba

Sid and rids gets out of the car and quickly runs to the daba, they watch the rain recalling the moment they last spend doing this.They then order the food and eat it,they order some tea ..both have a cup of tea in their hand..Rids recalls their first unoffical date when their car breaks down and they end up in a daba together'they both are silent and are watching the rain, when the woker boy walks in with the bill.Sid takes his wallet out to pay .She sees the picture of baby rahul in his wallet.as soon as they boy goes sid puts the change back and is about to put the wallet back when rids comments on rahul's picture,Bahut he cute picture

S : ( looks away as he does not know what to answer but then decided to blank her) lets goo waqt par pahunchana na bhi hai.

This gave rids the clue that sid did not wanted to share with rids an aspects of his life,

They both get into the car ,Sid drives back and half a mile drive later they find the turning, they take the exit and find thmself driving through woods

R: this place is quite dark and a looks a bit creepy too

S: neva mind as long as we get there

The road on the way is no smooth so they keep bumping every now and then.After 30mins of drive the car comes to an hault..

R: sid kya hua, ghadi kyon roke dee

S: maine roki nahi kudh ruke gayi(Its still raining heavily outside) wait let me get outside and see whats wrong..

Sid grabs a small tourch ,gets out of the car and opens the fron't boot.he inspects the car and then returns back to his seat.

R: tum thoo gele hoo chuke hoo.. apna sar pooche loo vana sardi lage ayegi

S: ah! Don't worry( sid gets his hankerchief out and tries to dry his hair)

Ridhima voh lagta hai koyi techi problem hai aur mere tourch ki battery bhi khatam ho gayi iss liye teek se dekh bhi nahi paya..

S: gadhi kal subah takh teek nahi ho sakti as light is just not enough'

Sid lowers his glass again and sees a small hut at some distance..lagtha hai vaha par ek chota sa ghar hai,lets go in there and see if we can find any help.

Sid and rids get out of the car .He picks both their bags and head towards the hut..They rech the hut and by the time they reach there they both are completely drentched'They walk in and find no one in there, itscompletely dark.Sid finds a small spirit lamp in the corner and lights it.There were stacks of hay there..

S: lets stay here for tonight and then when sun comes out tomorrow morning I will get the car fixed and then we shall drive off

R: (shyly) yh okay

Sid finds some wood and assembling some hay to light some fire.He uses the spirit light to light a fire.He then says to rids 'this should keep us warm'.He looks up and finds rids completely drentched..,her eye liner lightly spread sround her eyes, he lips shivering in cold

S: omg! u are completely drentched, u should should perhaps change

Rids looks up in awckwardness

S: do u have any spare chlothes

R: ummm..yh there should be a salwar in the bag.

S: fine that's helpful..umm..umm I will go outside u can change meanwhile.

He doesn't wait for a reply and walks out of the hut and closes the door behind

S: thanku

R: tumhari shirt bhi beeg gayi hai,

S: hmm yh

Sid unbuttons his shirt slowly, revealin the black vest underneath,he untucks the shirt and slides it down,the black fabric was hidling his clearly definied masculine body that any women would desire for.Rids was finding it hard to keep her eyes off his smooth body.

Sid sits down on the hay opposite to rids and they share a brief eye lock

S:umm tum bayat javoo, he looks at his watch 9, rath kafi ho chuki hai, u can sleep in that corner and I will sleep here

Rids is a bit uncomfy

Sid lie down absorbed in his thoughts so is ridhima

After half an hour sid is still awake unable too sleep , he turns around to he sees rids all curled up , he opens his bag and takes his rug out , he picks it up and walks towards where ridhima is lying, she has fallen asleep. He covers her body in the rug and then looks at her face.This women is till beautiful as ever, those deep eyes that just speak more than her words does, those cheeks soft and smooth ..those lips, tender and sweet.Sid bends towards ridhima's face

Rids wakes up as chilly breeze blows into the room throught the door.She lifts her head and sees Sid standing outside.She sees the rug around her

R:yeh zaroor sid ne mere par dali hogi..voh aj bhi mere bare mai care khartha hai,( she closes her eyes recalling tht incident that happened earlier this evening when she was being chased,of how he hugged her and consoled her, their little moment of closeness) sid aj mai tumse bath karne ka haq bhi khoo chuki huu isliye tum se kuch pooch bhi nahi paa rehi.

Sid : bus kuch aur din fir mere is past se mai alvida keh dunga

Saying this sid straightens, he is no more leaning on the pillar, seeing this rids guesses that he may be retuning soon , she quickly lies down and closes her eyes pretending to sleep .Sid closes the door and comes back to where he was lying down before he glances at rids and closes his eyes as tight as possible sid to himself ' sid tera pyar kabhi essa nahi thaa, yeh kya ho reha hai muje I need to get myself undercontrol and sleep, he still finds it hard to sleep, he rolls to the other sid takes his wallet out of his back pocket, He looks at rahuls picture, slides it out of the wallet and holds it close to his heart .This helps him to sleep ,rids too soon drifts away to sleep.

The sun comes up its rays pass through the window on to rid's face she wakes up and finds sid still sleeping, she sees him holding a picture close to his heart, she decided to have a sneak, she goes around to where he was sleeping , slowly slides the picture of his hand such that he doesn't wake u, she turns it around to look up at the face and finds rahul there, Rids : sid realy loves his son and misses him a lot .She then slides it back in his hand and walks back to where she was lying.Few minutes later sid too wakes up , he fixes the car and they head for the village.They get the medical check up done and are are on their way back, they don't talk much apart from profetional matter.Sid suddenly remembers that he had to get a present for rahul, as promised before . So he pulls in infront of a shop.Sid turns the car off..

S: sorry ek minute muje kuch lena thaa

R: sure I will wait here

S: k thanks

Sid walks into the shop and gets his present.Meanwhile ridhima gets out of the car and looks around.sid in the shop, asks the sales assistant to wrap the present, he then pays the bill and walks out. He was few steps away from the car when rids saw him walking down she turns to face him, he keeps walking focusing his eyes on the road he was walking.Suddenly a breeze blows and Rid's dupatta is blown away it hits on Sid's face,Sid breathes in her sent.Rids sees this, she has her one arm crossed across her chest and she is looking the direction of sid.Sid puts his hand on the dupatta and slowly pulls it off his face. He holds it in his hand and looks at it.' Yeh sabe muje purane dino ki yad dilathe hai, voh yaden jinhe maine dafan kar dee thi', he looks at the dupatta and then on rids. He walks towards her , stops few steps away, he gazes into her eyes as if he had so much to tell but was holding back everything for some reason, he then gives it to rids and walks to the car. Rids accepts it, they both knew these were incidences from past being repeated but they did not wanted to speak about it.The journey back then was filled with silence,Sid drops her home and says a quick good bye and leaves, back home everyone is busy with the prepreations for the marriage.Its evening and sid's house is full of events . Mat hasn't seen neeta for few days now and is quite desperate to see her so he decides to bribe sid, he goes to sid.

M:Sid I miss neeta a lot muje uss se milna hai,

S: kya Tum pagal ho agar hum vaha gaye thoo ladkiya humara kachoomar bana degi

M: sid pls yarr tum thoo samjathe ho na pls pls pls

Matt keeps pleading and at the end sid has to agree

S: tek hai I will drive u to where she is living but u have to find your way to meet her.

Matt: fine tum muje vaha pahuncha do and I will take care of the rest

Sid drives matt to anjali's house he pulls in putside the gate although the gate is open,

S: right I have kept my word

M: ( in an excited tone )thanks bro u r a star lagtha hai andar koyi nahi hai kyonki koyi cars dhikayi nahi dey rehe.

( sid recalls himself in matt because that's how he used to be with Abhi),

Matt looks around and sees the pipe

( they smile at each other and then walks to the pipe he climbs the pipe, sid has a flashback of how how he climbed the pipe for rids)

Matt manages to recach up and luckly he has the right room

m: tum se mline aya hu, as I was missing u

m: acha ghar pe koyi hai

N: downstairs in the kitchen

Neeta goes downstairs she finds rids in the kitchen

Neeta grabs food and heads into her room, while rids is in the kitchen

R: oh neeta forgot to take water with her, probably I should go and give her that

Rids fetches a glass of water and gets upstairs she is outside neeta's room and was about to step in when she saw neet and matt feeding each other food, she steps back and watches them from a distance.They look so adorable together she thinks, rids decides to go into her room, she strolls around and thinks of the time when sid had come to see her by climbing and that unexpected kiss to shut her up.Rids places her hand on her cheeks to mesmerise that old feelings which she would get when those tender lips touches her skin

R:sid ithni rath ko yaha kya kar reha ha hai..hmm may he came with matt'I should go and speak to him..

Sid puts his headphones into his ear and turns his ipod on. He starts fiddling with it, he sees a shadow on the floor through the rear window and turns around to see who it is .It turns out to be ridhima.She was in her night gown with the jacket hung around her shoulders and rope left untited.She comes to the window and looks at sid.Sid takes his earphone out,looks up and then looks down again.

S:Hi

R: how are u?

S: gd thanks and u ?

S: voh mai matt ka int( sid suddenly realises that he blured out something he wasn't ment to..he looks with his eyes open

R : ( smiles) matt aur neeta , neeta ke room mai hai,dw ghar par koyi nahi hai siwaye mere aur neeta ke

S: oo! Thoo fir woo kabhi vapis nahi ane wale

R: ( smiles) thoo tum andar aa kar lejavo aur waise bhi its getting chilli here,if u stay outside here u will catch a cold.

S:thanku but I am alrite.

R: sid ! andhar ajaoo before u freeze pls aur vaise bhi didi aur jeej soon ane wale unke sath papa mummy bhi hai..so unless tum andhar nahi avoge voh bahar nahi ayega.

S: ummm..ummm'hmmm k fine I wil come..

Sid gets out of the car shuts the door behind him,inserts the keep into the slought and turns around to face rids

Rids is all red and blushy as sid has finally agreed for once on something she said'they both walk though the pavements .Their hands collide fo a millisecond,they both feel the touch and look at each other but then the also feel awkward and they both look in differ from the eye contact.Sid looks around while rids glances at him.

S: sure

Sid and rids walk together towards the house,they reach the steps on the front of the house and stop.Sid puts his hand in a geature saying 'after u'

Then they both enter the house, there is an awckward silence as they both do not know what to say

R( turns around)'umm take a seat

S:oo yh thanks

They both sit down still don't blank on what to say

S: hmmm where is matt

R: he is in the room with neeta

S: can u do me a favour..call them downstairs pls, its late we nee to get home before anjie comes and everyone finds

out.

R: yh but let them be together these those few fun filled romantic moments before maariage which won't come back

Sid looks at rids, they share a brief eye lock.which is broken when they hear matt and neeta walking down..Sid rises u from the sofa so does rids,

N( slightly embaressed) : oo thoo apko patha hai

R :haa ( smiles) I came into ur room but u were busy feeling matt, it was soo cute that I din't wanna disturb so went to my room where I saw sid from the balcondy, went and fiched him then..

N looks well embaressed

N: u guies should leave before anjie dee comes and finds out.

M: dw if she comes we will make an excuse that sid came to see rids

Sid freezes at hearint this, looks at rids and then at mat

M: well I ment ki we will say that u came to see rids for work related issues, come on yar u guies work together at least we can use that to make an excuse

Sid and rids who are listening to this conversation have those old feelings warming up which they both buried long time ago, they look at each other and then look away

Matt bends to give neeta a quick kiss on her cheeks

Matt turn around from neeta and walks towards sid in a gesture as to leave

N: who suno matt..ek aur bath next time milne avoge tho door se ana pipe se nahi

Sid and rids look up they stare at each other and then look away,sid turns so that he could hide his expressions both were aware that neeta's last statement reminded them of their cute romantic moment, when 'sid came through the doors and ended up kissing rids' although they both are looking in opposite directions but their minds have the same image and hearts share the same thought..

S: looking without looking at either of the ladies acha guies we are leaving bye.

Both guies turn around and start walking away towards the door they are followed by the ladies who have decided to walk them to the door.When the guies reach the door rids call sid from behind

S turns around : huu ?

R: voh apna dyan rakhna

S: ( turns back )hmm sure ( with a head down disappointed face)

Sid and matt get into the car and drive away they both look in the direction until the car vanishes off from their vision.Sid and matt reach home quickly.rids drifts awayto sleep thinking about sid' kabhi sid mujse milne esse he kabhi aya karta thaaa,she has a smile, mai yeh kya lekar bayat gayi huu'.sid will go back soon..i should not be thinking about all these things.

Its 20^th, the day of the conference and Sid is getting out of the cab, he is in a blue suit and with his laptop case in his hand he heads to the reception of Sanjeevani hospital.

Sid : Excuse me, I am here for the annual med-confrence do u know where it is ?

Lady: yes I do 'take the lift from here to 6^th floor once u r there, it should be the 1^st room on the left'

Sid glances around this place hasn't changed much '.oh! errrrrrrrr y am I getting carried away I am here for the CONFRENCE JUST AND ONLY THAT nothing else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another 6hrs and then I am done with this city

Sid makes his way to the conference hall, he conference starts shortly, Sid gives a very impressive presentation and at the end of the conference loads of people congratulate him'

I think I should get out of the place ASAP staying here is not a good idea Sid thinks in his head. As he was about to step out of the hall, someone taps his shoulders from the back. He turns around to look and finds Dr Shashank.

Sid : Dr Shashank ! ape

Shanky: Sid! Kaise ho'bahut age nikal gaye inn salo mie ..badhi kushi huyi yeh dekh kke..

Sid: ji Thanku sir..ap kaise ho ? aur baki sab kaise hai ?

A man comes in to interrupt their conversation.

Man: Sorry docs..Can I please borrow Dr Modi..

Dr Shashank: Sure( with little bit of a disappointment )

Man to Sid : Dr Modi ur flight is scheduled to leave in next 2hrs it would be better if u get going otherwise u will miss ur flight.Your cab's waiting outside.

Sid ( thinks : hmm its betta 2 leave I bumped into Dr Shashank and it won't be long before others find me tooo so I betta leave ): okay fine give me a second I will be back

Sid to Dr Shashank : Sorry Sir, I am afraid I wil have to leave now got a flight to catch. It was nice meeting you .

Sid makes his way to airport

He breathes a sigh of relief..peww!

So many years I have stayed away, I just wanna get back home '.

That evening at Gupta residence. Shashank and Ridhimma are having a conversation

S: how was ur day beta ?

R: it was gd dad nothing much its feels awesome to to work with kids

R: really dad when , even I ran into him yesterday at airport but he was gone even before I could chase him. Seemed like he still doesn't want to see me or speak to me..

S: he was at sanjeevani for a conference..he is not that old chap any more..he has matured up not that he never was but now he has looks like a good mature man, with spectacles. He is a specialised paediatrician now ..apparently he works for Great Olman's stree hospital.He also gave an awesome presentation

S: I did speak 2 him for few seconds, he had a flight to catch so he left early

After this Ridhima goes into her bedroom, she opens her bedside cabinet and finds a ring in there, it was sid's ring she holds it in her hand and thinks cheh saal beeth chuke hai patha nahi Sid muje maf bhi kiya hoga ya nahi, shayad nahi isi vajase mujse mile bagair chala gaya'usss din ke bade maine bhi usse doond ne ki koshsis kiii par Su se patha chala ki voh meir shakal bhi nahi dekhna chahta.humara divorce bhi ho chukka hai..lekin..ummm papa ne bataya ki voh aaj bahut famous doc hai..sid badal gaya hai voh purana sid nahi hai, even jab mai airport mie mili thi thoo bhi bahut handsome lag raha tha..baal gel kare huve thee'abe thoo glasses bhi pehtha hai..apne suit mie bahut professional bhi lag reha tha..hmm kya sid ki life mie aaj koyi hai , kya usne fir se shadi ki .hmmm.. caught in her thoughts rids finally drifts away to sleep.

Next week morning both Sid and rids are off..Rids makes a trip 2 the temple where she see sid and rahul together in white kurta , rest of his family was present and Neeta.Rahul was sitting in sid's lap and was performing some rituals it was like some kind of hawan.Rids is watching them from a distance.Soon the hawan is over he takes his son around for blessing and then leaves him alone, he steps out of the mandir and sees rids standing around he walks towards her but then totally ignores her and walks past he then takes his phone out and pretends to be busy.Neeta is following him, she is holding on to Rahul.Rahul sees Rids and runs to her and quickly hugs her..Neeta soon catches up wid rids.yeh sid bhi na kabhi kabhi..rids wonders y neeta is always around sid ..is it that neeta is his fianc ?

Rids: yeh abhi yaha kya ho reha thaa

Neeta: voh rahul ke mum ki anivesary thii thoo uske liye hawan chal reha thaa

Rids is completely shocked to hear that. Although rids has compromised on the fact that sid has moved on in his life and has every right to marry anyone he wishes, but for some reason she is unhappy about it and feels quite low'

Meanwhile, Sid returns back and is absolutely furious to see Rahul holding on to Rids. He comes fuming and snatches Rahul's hand

Rids and neeta are amused by sid's behaviour, Rids is aware that its perhaps because of the past'

Sid: (as he walks away without looking back ) Neeta agar tumhai ana hai thoo tum aa sakthi hoo

Neeta to sid: ha aa rehi hu

Rahul is looking back at rids and she is staring at the dad and son

Neeta to rids: yeh sid bhi na ajeeb hai, acha thoo badh mai milte hei btw mai bhi tumhari hospital join kar rehi hu but as a volunteer

Sid: neeta mai jar aha hu

Neeta: oii wait dr Modi

Sid gets into the car and drives back, on the way neet a decided to confront him

Neeta: tum rahul aur rids ko dekh kar itna bhadak kyon gaye, voh tumhari just college hai, tum esse behave kar rehe the jaise ki voh tumhe aur rahul ko alag kar degi

Sid suddenly stops the car on hearing that..Sid then goes into deep thoughts

Sid suddenly gets aware of the fact that he is only clothed in a towel,

He walks off in his towel towards the door,he stands in a improper way such that only Half of his body is facing the door .. he reaches the door and opens it

Sying this she walks in and sees rids sitting there

Meanwhile sid walks from the door to the ladies..

S:Sorry ladies please excuse me I need to go and change

Neeta : hmmm sure ( in a flirty tone )

Rids who is watching this cannot bare it anymore

Sid turns and she neeta sees the wound on his face

Neeta: omg! Tumhare muh pe yeh cotee kaisi

Sid: voh! Shave karthe huve lag gayi, mai dressing karne he jar reha tha

Neeta: tum aur dressing and that too 4 a wound on ur face,tum bahut bade doc honge bt I know such small wounds scare u 2 death..come I will dress it for u

Sid: noo dw its fine I will help myself

Neeta walks to sid grabs his hand and drags him to his bedroom

Sid: err neeeta I am fine

But she hangs to him and manages to pull him away

Ridhima who is watching this, I no more have any rights over him that's why he refused and obviously when his fianc offered he suddenly accepted.He still hates me nd that is pretty clear from what happened in the mandir the other day..Rids looks around to distract herself.she gets up and walks to the pictures that were on display, it mostly pictures of sid and rahul right from when he was a baby 'there was no picts of his late wife, I wonder y she thought '..She walked to a pict of sid and rahul, it was from when rahul was 1yr old she picks the frame in her hands and runs her fingures over sid's face and then on rahul's she has a smile as she admire the cute dad and his adorable son.She walks along and further finds a picture of Abhi and nicki.

R: I wonder how they are kabhi mauqa he nahi mila moreover we lost touch soon after abhi nicki left for America.She looks around the house, it was pretty big and very calm, with light interiors, everything was so well organised and kept clean.

Rids: its nothing like how the old sid would have kept his house

Rids walks back to the coutch and sits down, when she hears the conversation form the bedroom

Sid: neeta pls don't it will sting

Ne: sid u need 2 otherwise how will u clean the wound

Rids smiles on how childish sid is although he is a big doc he is still scared of those wounds.Rids mind suddenly thinks about the proximity of closeness between sid and neeta in the bedroom especially considering he was only his towel.Rids starts to feel jelous again as she further hears more conversations from the bedroom. At the end she altogether feels fustrated and leaves.By the sid is ready and comes out he doesn't find rids, he wonders why and then calls neeta and leaves.In the hospital they again hardly see less of each other, rids often lifts her eyes in the ward but is always disappointed not to find him.

The few days passes on Neeta has joined the hospital for volunteering and she is doing well, sid and rids have any duites with each other so they see less of each other.One Wednesday afternoon Rids, neeta and tam are together in cafeteria and are having lunch. Tam comes up with the marriage topic and enquires to neeta of how she feel for sid

Tam: kya use kabhi tum se kabhi I LOVE U KAHA

Rids remember the time when he said I love u 2 her for the first time and kissed her head

Neeta: abe thak thoo nahi, lekin muje patha hai sid also likes me aur voh ek din yeh kahega bhi..usne apne past main bahut zakam jele hai'I never knew the sid until I got to know about his past, he looks like a hard nut from outside but he is very kind hearted.his past experiences had made him forget what love is today he only has one love which is his work.( rids realises what she is talking about' shayad uske zindgi ka sabse bada zakham maine he diya tha usse ', she feels sad for him)He is been into the best universities around the over the years and into very hostile working conditions inclusding ware zones,all this just to forget his past and pains from there.aur iss chakar mai pyar karna bhi bhool gaya and I am pretty sure he will learn to love again and I will help through that.

Rids is disappointed about the fact its not her teaching him love again its someone else

Tam: uske esse past ka hissa jo voh bahut pahale bhool chukka hai

Tam: voh purana bacho vala sid nahi, he is a matured man jiski zindagi bahut organised hai

Neeta: lol I have eard about the old sid from sanjeev, from what I have heard he was more lively but I guess in these years he has forgotten to live and I need to teach him again'

Rids has a mixture of thoughts going on in her mind she feels extremely sorry for him as he got divorced and then after his re-marriage has to face the lose of his wife..

Tam: kya tumhe rahul se koyi problem nahi hai

Neeta: rahul thoo sid ki jane hai, vaise bhi mai ne rahul se dosti kar lee hai, voh baut he sweet hai'aur jab hum pyaar mai padthe hai thoo hum apne pyar se jude huve sab ko apna lethe hai

Rids remember how she had accepeted their relationship.

Meanwhile neeta sends a flying kiss to sid infornt of tam,rids.Tam laughs at her immaturity while rids is quite uncomfy

Neeta: sid tum muje shyam ko shopping le javoge

Sid: oii miss mere passs time nahi hai aur vaise bhi I have better things to do

Tam: lejavo na sid, tumhe yeh sab patha hona chaiye

Neeta :Sid pls

Sid: tum insist kar rehi ho thoo lejatha hu

Rids is quite jelous again, she has a disappointed expression on her face and sid sees that, their eyes meet but sid looks away.

Tam: chalo rids hum chalthe hai aur inhe romance karne dete hai

Sid gives cold look to rids and ST say good bye..

Sid sits down and starts a conversation with neeta

Sid: fancy a walk ?

Neeta: tumhare liye kuch bhi

Sid: lets goo

They are outside in a park few ins away from the hospital

Neeta :muje nahi patha tha kit um ithne romantic bhi hoo

Sid: looks away in disappointment

And then starts

Neeta main tumhe bahut bar keh chukka hu ki mai tumse pya nahi kartha aur na he humare beech kuch hai

Meanwhile rids is watching them from a window in the staff room she is not at all happy to see them together

S: listen neeta, I don't think ki mai kabhi kisi se pyar kar pavunga

N: sid mai tumhare past ke bare mai janti hu ,, tumne apni biwi se divorce liya kyonki u guies were not compactible( now guies sid like a gentle man did not wanted to reveal the real reason behind his divorce because that would then be a disgrace so he takes on the blame and lies to everyone that him and his wife divorced because of not being compactible) ..ek bar ghalti karne ka matlab yeh tho nahi hai kit tum fir se vahi ghalti karoge..

Neeta understands the pain in his voice

Neeta senses sids pain and hugs him to console him'(neeta now understands him and decides to step doen from her decision for his joy )..rids sees this and is steamgily jelous ..she decided to page sid and call him up fackeing something so does she..sid sees the page and walks into the hospital with neeta on the way

S: patha hai there is someone who loves uand I am sure he will love u too

N: really? Who is that

S: now that's a surprise .come into my cabin and I will show u

Sid and neeta walk into his cabin sid opens the door and they find matt there

N: matt tum yaha kaise

S: now this is ur surprise he is the guy I was talking about

N: I never knew he was in love with me

S: he expressed himself several times but u were too obsessed with me so couldn't see his love, childhood frnds hone ka matlab yeh nahi hai ki u will understand every feelings'tum agar 24hrs sath rehoge thoo bhi ek doosre ki feelings nahi samaj pavoge esse log bhi hote hai ( sid is talking about him and rids and he has a slight pain in his voice)

Neeta and matt hug each other and confess their love

Sid who is witnessing this is glad and says in his mind 'atleast ek zindagi barbad hone se bacha paya '

Sid to them : thoo fir u guies can keep each others company as I need to resume my duty..cya guies later

The week passes by and its Thursday afternoon, meanwhile rids has been building a growing bonding with rahul as she meets him after his school hours…On Thursday afternoon sid takes neeta for shopping, rids isn't aware of the fact that neeta and sid are not together anymore

In the shop neeta bumps into rids, she walks her over to sid but sid just says a quick 'hi' and walks away, making an excuse that he has a phone call to do ..rids is quite disappointed…meanwhile neeta is looking to buy something 4 sid she goes into the mens department with rids and looks 4 a shirt she sees pink shirt and rembers the instance when he wore that too impress her.

'Sid ki kuch pasand aj bhi badli nahi' rids in her mind..they finish quickly and sid drives them to a coffee shop where matt joins them….Rids on the other hand drives herself home..

Matt: neeta mai soche reha tha yeh jagah ithni koobsoorat hai kya hum yehi shadhi kar le

Neeta: yes y not I am happy also dad's coming here too tomorrow..

On the other hand in ridhima's house shashank and padma have arrived to surprise rids..they share a lovely evening , rids later tells him about meeting sid and working with him again.

(PS: hey guies now here is lil adjustment I am now gonna show that sid's dad, shanky and neeta's dad are college mates)

Neeta's dad too arrive, he meets matt and he is convinced for his daughter's marriage.

On a Saturday evening shashank & padma arrives from Mumbai and suprises rids he is all happy to see rids getting on well.On Sunday morning sid's fmily including matt,neeta ,sanjeev & sapna go to the temple.Now, Neeta requests her dad for the marriage to be held in shimla and that to ASAP.Them guies were discussing about this and were walking out when rids and shanky wlked up the stairs into the temple.Rahul who was holding on to sid's fingers ran to rids and hug her.While sid watched from distance, he was furious but did not respond as he didn't want to create a scene infront of his family so.The family walks to Shashank.Mat's dad,shashank and sid 's dad meet each other they are happy to have this small reunion.On the other hand sid and rids were slightly shocked.Shashank kept wondering who that that little chap ( Rahul) was until sid's dad introduced him.Shanky was glad that sid was his mates' don. He said 'hi' to the little kid.The old guies discuss between thmeself about what was happening regarding the marriage.Rids was quite surprised rather more happy to know that neeta wasn't marrying sid. She ocationally glances at Sid which catches his attention and he glances back but takes his eyes off her quickly.They were standing on two extreme ends..Sid was talking to sanjeev, while sapna isolates them and decides to mingle with rids.

Sanj: ja bath kar use..yeh mauka abe kbhi nahi ayega

Sid gives a cold expression.He then addresses everyone..

'acha muje kuch important kame hai iss liye I have to leave early and I am taking rahul with me'

Rahul: please let me stay with ridhima aunty

Sid:rahul maine kaha na chalo mere sath..( in a bolder tone )

Then everyone insist on sid leaving rahul with rids, he did not wanted to create a scene so he leaves and heads of too his car and sits down on there with his head on the steering

Sid: yeh ek hafta kyon nahi beeth jatha so that I can get out of the misery of seeing her.arrgggggghhhh.

The 3 oldies discuss about whats happening,

Shanky: are yeh bahut achi bath hai

N's dad : mai soch reha hu kyon na ma kal rath ko he engagement karva du

S's dad: that's a good idea but matt ke ghar valo ka kya ?

N's dad: his parents dided in a plane crash when he was at uni and he doesn't have any close relatives so that's fine..

Shashank: but ithne short notice pe arrangemets kaise honge

S'dad: don't worry about that snjeev aur sid hai na they will get everything done

Shashank: yh and I will get angali, rids and atul to help out as well.

S'dad: ek kam karthe hai …lets all meet at mine tonight for dinner and then we will decide and inform.

Shanky : that's a great idea

After a while they all drive back to their respective houses.Shashank speaks on phone to sid's dad and discuss about the SR's past

Shashank: aj kal ke bache thoo choti choti batho par divorce kar dete hai

S'd dad : ha ..sid ne muje bataya tha ki unke divorce ka reason tha because they were not compactable for each other, I didn't know ki he married your daughter..abe shayad hume he kuch karna padega unhe sath lane ke liye..

Shashank: ha .. lets see aj rath ko kuch karthe hai

( now no one is aware of the real reason behind the divorce except for . In the evening they all meet up for tea. The last person to arrive was sid as he was coming from hospital.He knew it was reunion but was surprised to see everyone together including anjie, atul,rids,padma and shashank.simi and rahul were playing while the oldies were together with their convos..Sanjeev sees sid and he brings him down to where he was.He sees rids,anjie,atul,sapna,neeta,mat all together and walks to them he greets everyone, after a while the girls go out to help sid's mum in the kitchen. ….After a while padma comes out of kitchen, she sees sid and sid her.Sid had always had great respect for older people.He walks around and greets her..

Padma hugs him

P: tum kaise ho?

S: Mai theek hu aunty ape bathao ?

P: aunty ? maa kar ke nahi bulaoge kya

S: (sid gets a bit uncomfy)

P: chahe tumhare rishte kyon na cut gaye hoo,lekin kuch rishthe fir bhi kayam rehthe hai

S: looks down disappointingly

P: ( she sees sid uncomfy so decides to change the topic)vaise tum bahut badal gaye in salo mie, vaise apne bte se nahi milaoge

S: sure ..ek minute he looks around and finds rahul paying he calls him and he quickly runs to him

Sis picks up rahul in his arms

S: this is my son rahul, beta aunty ko Namaste karo

R: rahul folds his hands in the gesture and says 'namaste' he smiles @ padma

P: puts her hands across rahuls cheeks,Namaste beta and then to sid bada he payara bach hai..

Sid smiles

R: dad who is this ?

S: yeh Dr ridhima ki mumma hai

Padma sees how cold sid's feelings are now towards rids as he addresses her as Dr ridhima.

Rahul: oo

R: aunty patha hai apki beti bhi bahut pyari hai

P laughs at rahuls' childish innocence but sid has a worried expression,

R:Papa kya mai abe ja sakta hu

S: sure ape jao( he place him down )

P: how old is he?

S: he is 5 soon

Padma thinks 'so sid married soon after their divorce'

P: hmm ridma se bathe ke

S: nahi I just came

Sid senses where the conversation was heading , but thankfully sanjeev gives him a shout and her takes this opportunity to sneak away.After a while the entire crew moves into the garden for tea..

Anjale and rids are in a corner of the garden, while all the guies are together.Sapna is in the kitchen..

Sid is thinking-'rids ke dad aur mera dad dosth hai tho iska mathlab agar mai 1 week badhe chalao javoonga thoo bhi usse kisi na kisi tharah juda rahunga :/, yeh aindagi bhi ajeeb hai

On the other hand rids and anjie are having a conversation

Anjie: ek bath kahu ridzi

R: ha bolo dee

A: you should reconsider sid

R; dee voh mujse nafrat kartha hai

A: come on rids nock jocke thoo humesha miya-biwi ke beech hoti hai iska mathlab yeh todi na hai kit um divorce ley loo

R: dee its complicated tum nahi samjogi..aur upar se rahul will he able to accept me as his mum

A: I have seen him bonding well with u so that shouldn't be problem

R: dee u have no idea ke tum kya keh rehi hoo,

A: mai bus ithna kehna chati hu ki aj zindagi ne tumhe doosra mauka diya hai, so why not just use it

R: noo dee sid badal chukka hai , au uske dil mie mere liye koyi jagah nahi, so I don't wann go down that line

Anjie gives rids a light hug.

N's dad walks into the centre : my dear young children muje ek important announcement karni hao . maine aur shashank aur raj( sid's dad) ne milkar yeh faisla kiya hai ki neeta aur mat ki engagement kal rath ko ki jaye ..aur ise unhe bhi koyi aithraz nahi hai.I know it short notice but muje yakeen hai ki ap sab co-opetrate karenge aur sab acha hoga

Sanjeev: ofcourse we will all work together

N' dad: thanks beta ..so mai, raj aur shansank chahte hai ki ladko ki taraf se sid aur ladkiyon ki taraf se ridima saree arrangements ko lead kare.

Sid: has a shocked expression on his face( in his mind) no way I am doing it with rids

Sid looks at rids and gives her a fustrated look while rids is all happy but she gets disappointed after seeing sid's expressions..Sid then looks around to neeta and she has a pleading expression and only because of her he agrees.N's dad finishes the announcement, everyone disperses.Sid and rids are the only two left in the garden.Sid pretends to be texting on his phone when Rids walks upto him

R: Sid !

S: ( without looking up ) yes?

R: we need to start on the preprations

S: yh lets just join the rest of the gang and find out more about it

They walk together into the house to the gang while raj and shanky are watching

Raj: shashank dekho they are together.

The whole gang decides on everything they assign decorations to sidma along with the overall wath over.

Next day in the morning everyone meets up at the sid's place and starts off with the arrangements.The flowers and stuff arrive at the right time and everyone is all over the place. By afternoon Sr find themselves together and they see all the couples romancing each other, which brings memories back.They both feel awckward especially sid.Sid an rids are instructing the workers to place things in the right place. They are putting up curtains .They were standing opposite to each other as they were folding a curtain,but someone accidently pushes sid he falls on to rids.His arms grabbing her by her waist on to the piece of the curtain the guy was trying to fix , they fall into it, roll on the floor for few secs and get enstarngled in the fabric.While coming to a hault,Sid's feet accidently hits the table with the basket of rose petals, the basket tosses in air and the petals fall on them.Sid and rids are caught up in each others eyes, they are inches away from each other Sid could feel her breath on his face and so could he, their lipds were inches away , they both have flash backs of previous occations when they have been so close.Suddenly sid realises that all eyes where on fixed on them and tries and get out of the mess.He gets off the floor and offers his hand to rids so that she can get up too. Rids feels nostalgic while holding his hands again.She remember how they held their hand together after her birthday nite, while walking on the corridors of sanjeevani….Sid says 'sorry' and quickly walks over to sanjeev and rids to anjie..

( ps: hey guies don't kill me for me for this small update as I have just been back home from uni for this weekend and I don't get to write much while being at home..enjoy )

Right guies after this will come the much awaited si& rids encounter after years

He approches closer to the doors of the flight when rahul calls

Rahul: pa pls don't goo vapis aa javo na plsss

S: rahul I nedd to goo don't worry I will do all arrangements to get u there too

The conversation is brief, he now gets into the flight and settles him self down there are few more mintues left before the flight takes off.Sid has a trailer of events that run in his mind , last off all he recalls the words of rahul they echo on his brain.he closes his eyes and then his mum's words ring in his brain.He opens his eyes, takes off his glasess

Raj: thoo tumhara faisla badal gaya hai kya ?

Sid: kuh bhi kehne se pehle muje ridhima se bath karni hogi aur I am leaving to speak to her

Saying this sid leaves to his car and quickly drives to ajie's house to meet rids.He rings the door bell and ridhima opens the door.She is shocked to see him but deep inside she is also happy that he hasn't left

Shashank and padma are watching them from a distance.Rids looks at shashank who nods.

Rids walks sid to her room and closes it

Sid now switches to a very serious tone

R: bolo tumhe kya kehna thaaa

Sid: mai tumse shadhi karne ke liye tayar hu, kya um ho? But before u answer the question there is something I want u to know, few important things

Sid: maine shadhi ke liye ha thoo kar di lekin mere kuch terms and conditions , or in other words this marriage is a contract marriage, if u agree to the contracts then we will go ahead..

Firstly

1)We will be hubby and wife only infront of the world but in our own privacy we are 2 different individuals.We will share my room when rahul is home.I will sleep on the coutch, u on the bed and when he is not then I will sleep in the study and u in the bedroom.I hope so far the conditions are k because we have done this before as well ( in a clod wife)

2) ur not allowed to interfere into my life or I am not into urs until asked to do so..There should be no questions and answers between us , mai kahi par bhi javoo tum poochogi nahi aur na he mai tumse pochunga, whatever we do in individual lifes its our privacy we won't ask or discuss with each other'we will collegues at the hospital and complete strangers at home and at any social events husband and wife..

3) rahul there is something u need to know about him, he is not my son but that doesn't mean I have ever treated him like that although he is abhi bhaiya's son he is more than my own son.( rids now has tears in her eyes sooo that's what that familiar smile was about , rahul is my nicki's son')

Meanwhile sid's family along with rahul has arrived in gupta's house and are eagerly waiting for the outcome of the ongoing convo between SR..

You will love him as much as I do . and the point of this marriage is for rahul I might sound a selfish on this but I want rahul to be happy , I am sorry I am inviting you into a dead realationship which would have nothing to offer but its ur choice from now on though no pressure.

4)tum mere atheeth ke bare mai jane ne ki koshish nahi karogi aur na he mai tumhare

5) I want a simple court marriage and no rasams and stuff attached as I don't believe in such things anymore..now nxt question is simple , will u agree to these terms and conditions and to marry me ? btw there is no alterations available in these terms and any decision from u will be welcomed..u can take as long as u want ,saying this sid head towards the door but rids speaks up

Sid: fine I will get ourself to be married in court tomorrow

Sid and rids walk out of the room together,everyone looks up at them in aniticipation.

Sid: we have an announcement to make me and rids have finally decided to get married so yh everyone is invited to join us in court tomorrow where we r getting married

Sanj: aree yarr court marriage tumne thoo shadhi ka maza karab kar diya

Sid: well maine aur rids (looks at her) ne tey kiya hai ki we had enough of traditional marriages so now we are gonna stick to simple stuff..

He gives a fake smile to rids

Atul : aree yarr tum logo ne shadhi karna ka faisla kar liya vahi sabse badi bath hai, aurabe shadhi court mie ho ya temple mai kya farak padtha hai

Everyone now comes and hugs them two..at the end when the last few ppll were hugging them, they have their eys fixed on each other and another mind conversation

Sid: yeh loo another dead relationship on offer, mai dekhna chata hu ki tumyeh shadhi kab thak niba pavogiiii..is barr shadhi rahul ke liye huvi hai pichle bar tumhare mum papa ke liye, dekh the hai zindgai mie abe aur kya kya jelne ko likha hai

In the night sid has a thought about everything he has flash backs from his previous marriage with ridhima and these tings bring only painful memories back to him.

Next day morning rids and sid appears in the court they register their marriage and are walking out of the court room. They had their family and friends with them and were about to step out of the building, when it started raining.

Sid in a sarcastic tone : wovv! Its raining another bad sign from god same as last time ..same beginning as last time lets see how the end would be like

Rids hears what sid says , she noes she will be with a sarcastic sid who is quite intensly cold about his feelings and will not show any trace of his real feelings'

Sid's mum: din mai barish voh bhi ek shub muhurat ke badh ..bayi yeh thoo good luck charm hai

Sid again in a loud sarcastic tone : o'fcourse' rids looks at him and he returns a cold look back

Sid: right people u guies can stay her I am just gonna walk to my car

Atul : what in this rain ?

Rids: lekin sid tum bheeg javooge

Sid: its okay for me

Saying this sid walks to the car and settles himself inside'

Sid: shubh muhrat esse kaoyi waqt mere zindagi mie abe nahi aa saktha ..

After a while the rain stops and everyone walks to their cars, rids walks to sid's car and gets in the car

R : ( in a concerned voice) sid tum beege thoo nahi..?

S: ridhima there is no one around so we can go back to our terms and condition

Rids feels disappointed as she was trying to be caring but he doesn't seems to give a dam about that..sid drives them away they soon reach their house, where sid' mum is waiting with a pooja ki thali

Sid and rids arrive there

They walk to the door along with the crew, he sees his mum there

S: ma iski kya zaroorat thii, hum in sab cheezo mai believe nahi karthe , chalo rihima

Sid's mum : esse kaise nahi , yeh rasme hai inhe nibayi jathi hai ..tumhe bhi nibani padegi

Sid stays there unwillingly

..sid's mum performs the puja it reminds rids of the old times when sid himself tried to do that.

Sid: acha abe mai jatha huuu ( the guies stop him from behind)

Matt: esse kaise , tumhe rids ko apni baho mai utana padega

Sid in his mnd esa ek bar pehle bhi utaya tha lekin inn sab cheeso ka kya fayida jab hum ek dead ridhthe mai jee rehe hai

Everyone insists and in the end sid has to agree

Sid picks rids up , his fingers touching the bare skin of her waist sending her shivers.She looks into his eyes but he looks away making no eye contacts what so ever. He then places her down gently once they were inside the house.

Its evening now and the entire crew is still hanging around but now they think they should get going as its late and they should leaver SR alone to their private business.they tease both of them to core and take them to their room.SiD is a bit hesitant and makes 100s of excuses in between but nothing works.sid and rids are simultaneously pushed into th room where they see a bed decorated with red roses and candles lit all around. R: nods in agreement although she did not completely agree..

Sid lies on the coutch and rids on the other hand lies down on the bed tooo and switches of the light.once the light is switched off there is an awckwardness in the room, they both have their old feelings coming bak to life but sid knew he had enough of self control generated over a long period of time, but the question was will that be enough..because although he has tried to forget this girl but to be very honest to himself he completely hasn't been able too..

Sid thinks: ktni ajeeb bath hai yeh meri theesari suhag rath hai rids ke sath aur hum aj bhi ajnabi hai ek doosre ke liye'

Rids: yeh humari theesari suhag rath hai aur hum dono are still miles away from each other. Although in the same room

Sid( in his mind): well no suprises here because we never were in love with each other..

Next day morning rids wakes up at 6:30am and doesn't find rids on the coutch his sheet is folded along with the pillow..There was no trace of sid anywhere..rids goes into the toilet gets a shower and come outside into the kitchen to cook breakfast however her she sees a different sight when she reaches kitchen she is surprised to find everything cooked and breakfast preapared.Meanwhile rahul comes out of his room and comes and gives his mum a tight hug

Rahul: morning muma

Rids feel happy as rahul calls her mum, she is quite content with the newly found motherhood.

Rids: morning beta, yeh tumhare dad kaha gaye itni subah

Rahul : who jogging ke liye gaye hai

Rids: lekin he has prepared the food

( lol rids remembers her second date with sid when he coocked her food and messed up everything I can'tbelieve that sid made everything)

Rahul: yup he does everything and then goes for jogging

Rids: so what time does he wakes up ?

Rahul: around 5:30,

Rids:that's a very early start

Rahul : yep

Rid: chalo no worries abe mai aa gayi hu naa so I will make food from now on Your dad doesn't have to be bothered about it'

Meanwhile sid retuns back, he is in a black vest and is all sweaty

Rahul: runs to his dad, he lifts him up in his arm and places him on the coutch

Sid and rahul chat for a while and then he heads off towards the bathroom for a shower however rids stops him

Sid:noo don't indulge urself in such things as its out of our contract (this contact thing always reminds rids is in a disappointing relationshipithout much hope for anything)

And yh btw I will drop rahul off on my way to the hospital ..

Rahul runs away

Rids: par sid these things are normal duties of a wife..

Sid: listen ridhima we were never ever a normal couple ( he gives her a cold look), ..aur nothing out of our contract will ever fit into our life so remember that and don't do what is more thank asked of u. ..aur 'duities' u know what that's what u have been whole of ur life kabhi well forget it also I have decided to live in india for the next 6months and I will carry on with the post that I was doing before I decided 2 leave or in other words I will still be ur bosss at work for the next 6 months and then there after we will see

Rids is happy that sid has dropped his plans to leave india for now and has extended his stay'

Rids was disappointed to see sid not offering to put it on her

Meanwhile rahul walks back he sees the ring sid has in his hand

Rahul: lol pa I have seen in movies and also in neet and mat uncles wedding that the guy and girl put it on each other rather than giving it like that

Sid : kya ? ( in s surprised tone)

Rahul muma ko ring pehnavo na plss

Sid: rahul ridima voh khud pehne lagi aur vaise bhi hospital ke liye late ho reha hu mai ja reha hu

Sid starts to walk off but rahul stops him

Rahul : come on paaa pehnavo na ma ko plss plss

Sid goes to rids and looks at her, lifiting his eyebrows like' shall I '

Rids nods giving permission..

Sid puts the ring on rid's fingers and then looks away with an expression which learely ment that he did not wanted to do that, he then walks away straigt away.

Rahul and rids stare at him as he walks away

Rahul now comes to rids

Rahul: sorry mum mere papa thode se romantic nahi hai but once he gets know u , he will keep u happy..

Rids: janthi hu tumhare papa kaise hai( with a smile) abe ape ja kar thayar ho jayiye apko school bhi thoo jana hai..

Now rids is in her room, getting ready for her day.Meanwhile sid comes out of the bathroom in trackies and towel around his neck sid rids look at each other

They all get ready and leave for work, sid drives rehul to school while rids goes straight to work once at work everyone congratulated them for their wedding.back in the eveining , it been a long day for everyone, rids goes into the shower as soon as she comes in, where as dr modi gets freshen up and goes into the kitchen and cooks supper, after sometime rids comes out of the shower, with wet hair she comes into the kitchen and sees sid nearly done with coocking.rids' sid ! yeh sab karne ki kya zarroth thee I would have done the cooking'

Sid: nahi its k hum iske bare mie subah bath kar chuke aur in salo mai, mai yeh sab seekh chukka huuu.He was doing the dishes and rids watches him ..

Once finished Sid walks past rids, she turns around and her wet hair hits sids face, he closes his eyes,for a second that lil moment just seemed to have frozen there it felt soo good to feel the touch of her wet hair on his face. 'I am not gonna let myself get carried away this time'( in his mind) , he walks out so that he could go and help rahul with his homework, it was good to watch sid and rahul doing soo good. After the homework session rahul and sid have some fun session with vedio games, sid seem so relaxed, rahul invited rids to join too and sid din't argue because his son had invited her , moreover he married her again for his sake so he wouldn't mind putting up with her for rahul's aske' she played against sid, it was good too see them forget their old pains and be happy again atleast for few minutes...after that they headed for dinner and rahul in his innocence asked rids too cook from next day onwards as he had enogh of his dad's cooking.

Sid: acaha rahul mai ithna bhi bura cook nahi kartha..

Rahul: lol nahi but mai thoda sa bore ho gaya hu papa ke hath ka khana kha ke now let me taste something made of my mum's hand.

Sid: acha bahu

Rahul gets out of his chair and runs towards the coutch carefully,sid chases him and once grabs him holds him on to the floor and tickles him. Rids who is watching this light moment is cherising it

Rids ( in her mind): sid mie aj bhi ek bachpana chupa hai no matter how mature he pretends to be. His daddy agreed to his son's wish to keep him happy and gives rids cook from next day onwards .It was bed time now, sid goes to rahul's room and puts him away too sleep..Rids comes in too to say good nyt, rahul holds on to her and request her to stay until he has fallen asleep. Now sid and rids are sitting on opposite side of the bed with Rahul in between, rahul soon falls asleep, sid kisses his son on his forhead and switches off the lights and waits outside for rids to come, she too kisses rahul on his forehead and leaves .She walks outside closing the door behind.

Sid: ridhima who mai study mai ja reha hu kyonki muje kuch kame khatam kana hai

Rids: u can do it our room 2

Sid: no I will be up late so will the light be and that's gonna disturb u

Rids: no its k u can stay

Sid: thanks I need a bigger space to work too so I will goo there

Rids goes to her bed and sleeps in the room lonely.while doing work sid falls asleep in his chair his head resting on the table.rids wakes up in the middle of the night and finds the coutch still empty she goes to the study to check on sid and finds him asleep on the chair resting his head against the table.she goes closer to him and plays with his hair' sid bahut badal gaya nah jane kyon apne ap ko ithna kam kar ke thakatha hai aur mai agar tumse iske bare mai kuch kahu tho tum sunoge bhi nahi'

She then goes back to her bedroom.In the morning by the time she wakes up and goes to the study he is gone. He is gone for a jog.This carried on for few weeks . On a Sunday evening sid was no where to be seen in the house

( sid is in his bedroom rocking himself on a chair facing the window)

Kitni ajeeb bath hai mere parents mujse shadhi ki bath kar rehe hai..mai jisne ek bar nahi do do bar shahi ki..weird na'sid thinks about his second re-marriage with ridhima' in 6saalo mie tumhe bhoolne ki koshsish ki yeh sooch kar kit um kisi aur ki ho..main bhool bhi chukka tha lekin ajj jab mai fir se tumhare sath kam karta hu thoo purani yadeen taza ho jathi hai'apne dimag ko thoo kisi tarah samjah diya..lekin iss dil ko aur in yadoon ko kaise mittao..mai hamesha india anna nehi chahta thaa kyon ki yaha avu thoo yeh yadeen muje fir se satha thi hai..yeh yadeen bhi bahut dard deti hai ..jab tumhare bagayir jeene ki adadth ho gayi hai thoo fir kyu ayi hoo tum meri zindagi mie vapiss 'sid feels low and slowly drifts towards his sleep..

(In ridhima's bedroom)

She too is thinking of him, of all the moments they have spend together..inn sallo mie zindagi ne muje bahut kuch sikha diya most which is ki meri zindagi mie meri priorities kya hai..

Next day

It's a Thursday afternoon, it was nearly sid's break.Rahul was having a day off from school so he decided to pay a visit to his dad's work place, meanwhile his granny sends him with some lunch for sid..

Sid was finishing off a meeting with the head of other departments,where tam was also present.Once the meeting is over they slowly make their way together

Sid: kya plans hai ?

Tam: kuch nahi lunch hai

Sid: cool mera bhi lunch hai ..chaloo cafeteria mie chalthe hai..

Tam: nahi rukho muje apna steth aur lab coat vapis rekhna hai

Sid: ha voh tho mai bhool gaya..muje bhi

Tam: ek kam karthe hai mera cabin yehi pass mai hai thoo vaha chalthe hai pehle fir tumhare cabin mie

Sid: thik hai

Meanwhile sid gets paged by ridhima ' hi I was working on rohan's case so was looking fot the while do u know where it it ?'

To which sid replies 'its on my desk u can get it from there '

Rahul arrives with his driver at the hospital, the driver speaks to the lady at the reception and makes arrangement for rahul to be taken up2 to sid's cabin.Sid is completely unaware of the fact that Rahul is around.Rahul is escorted into sid's cabin and is left alone there..he places the bag he has, on to the table, scan's the office and then sits on his dad's chair.He opens sid's drawer and , puts on the extra pair of glasses that Sid always reserves for himself..He is beginning to fiddle with the stuff on his dad's desk when someone knocks on his doors..the door opens and ridhima walks..she is surprised to see this cute little boy but thinks it's a patient who is just messing around so she walks towards the boy , they boy has a sweet smile on his face'for some reason the smile seemed familiar but she couldn't recollect who it ressembled to'.

Rids: hmm apki smile bahut achi hai

R: thanku

Rids: vaise ape yaha kya kar rehe hai apko tho ward mie hona chahiye

R: mai yaha Dr sidhant modi se milne ayah u

Rids: ooo! Kya main apki koyi madat kar sakti hu

R: no muje Dr Modi se kam hai

Rids: acha thik hai..mai yaha ek file lene ayi hu

Now, the door swings open and sid is entering the room with tam..Seeing sid Rahul jumps from his chair screaming Dad he runs towards his dad'Ridhima is completely shocked, to hear this..both dad and son embrace each other..sid picks rahul in his arms 'he looks around to see 2 ladies watching them

Sid: oo sorry guies ..this is my son Rahul Modi

'this is my son Rahul Modi'!!! these words echo in ridhima's mind again again she finds it hard to engulf the truth that's been rubbed on to her..

Sid to Rahul: rahul this is tamana a collegue and a very good friend

Rahul: Hi J

Sid: and this is Dr ridhima my collegue

Ridhima was slightly offended and jelious by the way sid introduced her to his son she was only a college to him, where as tam as a good friend too but her mind was just set on the fact that rahul was sid's son

Rahul: Dr ridhima..hi

Rids : hi ( she forces a smile on her face)

Rahul to his dad :dad kahi yeh who ridhima tho nah hai jinke bare mie mummy ne unki diary mie likha tha

Sid: nahi who yeh nahi hai ridima nam ke bahut sare log hothe hai iss duniya mie ( in a disappointed tone )

Sid: vaise tum yaha kaise

Rahul: apko surprise dena chahta tha aur vaise dadi ne apke liye khana beja hai

Sid: oh cool'oh! Noo batho batho mie bhool gaya ridhima( rids looks up she was dying to hear that from him ..she has lil tingle of joy Sid suddenly realises his mistake) .umm I mean Dr ridhima kya apko apni file mil gayi..

Tam notices how uneasy collegues they (sr ) were..

Rids: nahi Dr modi

Sid: its there on the table, le lena

The door closes, rids sits down on a chair ..usne keha tha ki who apni zindagi mie age bade gaya lekin uska ek bacha bhi hai'she closes her eyes and tears comes down her eyes..divorce ke badh thoo sid par mera haq nahi hai jab haq thaa tab kuch nahi kar payi, lekin na jane bahut dard hita hai yeh sooch kar ki Sid aj kisi aur ka hai..

Downstairs in the cafeteria tma,sid and rahul have a lovely lunch together..After sometime Sid calls the driver to get rahul,driver gets rahul and leaves for home..Tam and sid are on their way back to resume their duties, when she asks sid

Tam: sid hope u don't mind asking , yeh bacha Rahul..umm

Sid: mera hai

Tam: so divorce ke badhe tum ne uski custody claim kar lee

Sid: rishte dil se banthe hai unhe cheene ki koyi zaroorat nahi hai ( with a thoughtful smile)

Tam smiles and she thinks Sid bahut badal chukka hai yeh voh ladka nahi hai joo 6saal pehle doctor banne ke liye india aya thaa'hutson ka bigda hua NRI ..yeh ek samajdar insane hai jo apni zindagi ko sawar ne ki koshish kar reha hai..

Sid; acho thoo fir badhe mie milta hu

Sid walks into the ward he sees Ridhima standing near the nurses station,she was till caught up in her thoughts, he decides to ignore her and walks past he when she calls him from the back 'sid!'..sid twitches his eybrows yes Dr Ridhima

Rids: Sorry dr modhi bus muje apse iss case ke bare mie kuch poochna tha

Sid : bolo

Rids asks him some medical question, they have a good 3mins discussion and then when he was about to walk off

Rids: apni biwi se nahi milaoge'????

They finish their work and leave for respective houses

In the evening Rids is in her bedroom thinking about sid

Rids debates heself 4 a while and then drifts off to sleep'..In the morning Rids gets a call from ajalie

Anjie: rids weeked ke liye kya plan hai

Rids: koyi plan nahi hai dee bus ghar par rukh rahi hu

Anji: acha essa hai thoo ek kam kar tuu mere ghar aja tujhe yaha aye huve bahut din ho gaye hai vaise bhi

Rids: nahi mera koyi man nahi hai

Anji: kya man nahi..u have to come, even simi( Simran ) bhi tujko bahut misss karthi hai

Rids: but dee

Anji: koyi butt nahi tumhe ana padega, vaise atul ki bhi chooti hai tho hum log sab milke ghoomne ja sakthe hai

Rids : teek hai mai ajavoongi

Meanwhile Sid gets a call from sanjeev saying they were coming shimla for a 3 weeks holiday starting next week.So sid is all excited to see him..

At the hospital

Its 9: 30 and they have a new admission, it's a 6months old baby suffering from acute asthama and other breathing difficulties'Sid and rids start to work on the case together however they are also given a presentation to work on which is for a meeting that is scheduled for 7:00 pm the same evening, so sid sees less of the baby.However

Sid loves babies so he goes to the childrens ward to check on their admission..Rids is by the bed side of the baby checking patient history..Sid comes over and lifts the baby who has few tubes going across his body, he carefully holds the gorgeous kid in his hand and admires him..sid thinks to himself ' this was the sort of the age when I saw Rahul for the first time, he too was 6 months old then'..He carefully caresses babies cheeks and kisses his knuckles , He smiles sweetly'Ridhimma who is watching this sweet bonding between the baby and sid is quite surprised to see Sid's smile, she hasn't seen his smile in years and it had seemed like he has forgotten to smile'Ridhima gets carried away for a moment and thinks how it would be for Sid to hold their baby, she comes out of ther thought bubble and quickly 'yeh main kya soch rehi hu'sid ka thoo ek beta bhi hai aur voh shadhi sudha hai;

Sid has now placed the baby back in his crib and turns to face rihima,

S: kya tumne who sab test karva liye jo maine pehle karne ko kehe thee

R: yes doc ..yeh voh sab test hai aur uske results..

Sid and rids are both aware of the fact that the baby had less chances of surviving as there is something wrong with his neurons that transmit the impulses to secrete mucus in the trachea of the baby's lung.As a result of which there is excessive mucus production and the baby is struggling to breathe..Sid has a disappointed face'

S: hows his condition now ?

R: it has stabilised now but cannot garuntee till when

S: hmm..okay ..thanku ( in a very low voice)

Dr Ridhima u are aware we have a meeting scheduled for tonight its nearly 1 now,will it be possible for you to join me in mi cabin so that we can make essential preprations ?

Ridhi : yes thats k

Sid walks into his cabin gets some surgical books and starts making notes, while he orders his attended to get him some files.Sometime later Rids walks in..

Knock on the door

S: come in

Rids walk in, so does the attended with the files.Ridhima looks at sid's desk which is filled with some surgical books and othe medical books.

S: right lets get working, hmm I was thinking if you could work on the presentation for tonight and I would work on the baby's case

R: is that the reason why you have these books laid down ?

S: yes pretty much ..btw these are some files which will help in your work..you can start working if you want. Take my laptop for the presentation and I will use this computer. He hands the laptops to her, their skins barely brush, Ridhima feels a tingle but Sid has cold expressions)Rids starts his computer and gets to his settings when the computer promts for a password. She asks him and he says' Rahul is the password' she types in and makes through to his profile, where she finds a background which is a collarge of Rahul's picture right from when he was 1 to when he is 6'He loves his son a lot she thinks'

They both get on with their work and are busy doing their respective jobs but Ridhima does take occational sneaks at him.Sid's phone rings and its Sanjeev on the other hand.

Sid: did u hear the voice mail I left 4 u

Sanjeev : yess I did

Sid: tho tera kya khayal hai is case ke bare mie ?

( rids is listening to the convo although she is pretending to do work)

Sanjeev: dude this case is pretty clear , the baby needs a surgery.However, the matter of concern here is that if the baby would survive the surgery ..

Sid: I don't know man, I just wanna save this baby, if we don't go ahaead with the surgery he will die

Sanjeev: I know

( rids is touched by the amount of care sid has 4 this baby who is not even his )

Sid : Listen thu Sunday india aa reha hai na..aur thuu thoo inmamlo mie specialised hai I want u to perform this surgery

Sanjeev: that's fine by me, but what about the hospital authorities, will they be happy?

Sid: don't worry about them I will take care of them..

Sanjeev: u are aware of the fact that inorder for the baby to survive till then u need to have a clear action plan

Sid: yes I am aware of it and I am working on it

Sanjeev: good then, don't worry man this baby will be fine

Sid : I so want him to be 6 months, u know what seeing him brings me memories of Rahul.

( rids is now understanding his emotions and learns y he is so bothered about this case)

Sanjeev: anyway Sid I am at work got to go ..u tc aur ha airport anna mat bhool na

Sid: no down't worry I won't forget'

Sid hangs up and slides the phone back into his pocket, closes his eyes and rubs his head.Rids who is watching this understands his concerns, she longs to hold him, hug him and make him feel much better however she knows he is beyond her reach'

Sid on the other hand gets on with the action plan , he refers to several medical textbooks.Finally he gets up from his seat and walks towards Ridhima

S:Ridhima ( she lifts her eyes ) ..sorry I mean Dr Ridhima I have decided to perform tracheostomy on the child and then put him on observation , a friend of mine who is specialised child surgeon is coming on Monday he will perform the surgery.

R: so u have decided 2 perform the surgery on him ?

S: well I have to otherwise as well the kid will die

I am gonna leave now go in and do it meanwhile u can work on this.Sid goes int the ICU and performs tracheostomy on the kid, he then comes back into his cabin 45mins later .. He goes into his cabin 2 find ridhima still in there, he glances on the clock

Sid: Sorry its way past ur lunch, I relieve u can come back after the lunch

Rids: don't worry I can keep working on this

Sid: noo please go and have a break

He drives off and asks rihima to guide him with directions, while he is driving his phone rings, Sid presses on speaker and talks it was his son

The car comes to an hault as it gets stuck in a traffic jam

It starts raining and in the car SR are listening to radio..the song 'chup tum reho chup hum rehe' is playing in the background..the irony there was the atmosphere in the car was similar to the lyrics of the song ..sid softens up his expressions a bit, they both are speaking in their mind

Rids is again disappointed on the fact that she has been turned down however she consoles herself thinking he must have his wife who would perhaps be waiting 4 him , that's y he rushed off. That was lesss of a conselation and was more of a feeling that was making her aware of what she had lost.

Next day in the morning Sid moves into his new house with his son, they get stuff in and everything is done.It was nearly evening and Sid and Rahul were getting ready to pick Tam and tia up so that they coud go to some restrurant for a dinner'Meanwhile Rids too was spending some quality time with her dee,jeej ( atul) and simi( her neice)..Anjie enquire ridhima about sid.She gives a negative feed back saying his feelings are quite cold.In the evening they tooo decide to go out for dinner.

Sid and rahul get to Tam's place and pick them up they make it to city centre and walk into a good restrurant.They pick a quite corner where they cannot be easily overlooked, they enjoy their dinner . On the other side rids,anjie,atul and simi walk into the same restrurant but sit on the opposite side'they have only started eating, when sid-tam decides to call it a day..they are walking off when atul notices them and shouts sid's name ..SR are surprised to see each other..

Rids says hi to everyone .Simi suddenly runs to Rahul and introduces him to rest of her family

Atul on the other hand is talking to sid and tam to rids

Few seconds later atul starts a conversation with tam..Rids is quite surprised to findout that atul knows tam ..Anjie on the otherhand is introduced to sid's son Rahul she compliments saying he is adorable..After a while they say good bye and leave, the highlight of this meeting was the fact that SR did not talk to each other at all apart from usual glances.Rids, atul,simi and anji settle back'

Sid wanted to be with tam but he never considered himself old enough to get married ..So aur kya tha the ladki gave away to parental expectation and left for Canada for a new life and sid had to forget his pehla pyarr..infact jab tum usse pehli bhar aiprort mie mili thoo voh vaha tam ko chodne aya thaa..lekin got accused bi u lol..poor him'I was quite surprised when he agreed to marry u ..kyon ki jo bandha tam se shadhi karne ke liye tayar nahi thaa voh tumse shadhi karne ke liye ready hogaya..aur fir rest tum janti hoo'lekin ek bath zaroor hai sid ne hamesha apno ka bhala chaha hai, voh chahta tha thoo tam ki shadhi rukhva saktha tha lekin ek mature bandhe ki tarah usne tam ke parent's ki expectations ko samja aur tam kho chod diya'usne apne pyar ko kho tho diya dosro ki khushi ke liye aur shayad isi vajaise kismet ne use eska dosra pyar bhi jaldhi hi diya, jot hi tum..lekin( atul then realises where he was heading to so he holds his words back)

At this point rids has tears in her eyes, she realises what she has lost 'Rids was quite touched to hear about sid's past, it made much more clear sense of things that happened between him and her.' Next day both sid and rids get back to hospital for work, they are on an early shift,it's a busy day and they don't get to see each other much.However, at the end of their work they bump into each other while on their way to the car park

Sid says a quick hi and walks off while rids stays there as if she was expecting a longer convo however now is completely disappointed.sid now is in the car and drives off ,while he is driving he is speaking to himself in his mind'.' Jantha huu kit u were expecting a convo from me but I cannot give u that because mai tumse fir se lgav nahi bana saktha kyon ki mai fir se apne dil koo toothe huve nahi dek saktha, tum mere athheth ka hissa ho aur vahi rahogi thoo acha hoga.i will leave in less than couple of days time and then that would be it goodbye forever and ever.Sid comes out of his thoughts and concentrates on his driving, he reaches home. He parks his car.however he is surprised to see some other cars too there, 'well mehandi thoo dad aur muma ' ke ghar par hai thoo yeh sab yaha kya kar rehe hai' .Sid walks in curiously.He steps in and see the entire living room being transformed into a club with all the light effects.

S: yeh mera ghar he hai na

Sanjeev comes out along with other guies

Sanj: ha be yeh tera ghar he hai

S: yeh transformation kis bath ki ?

Sanj: wellll!!! Kya hai ki because this is the fina night before matt's wedding

sid walks to his room freshens up , changes and comes down.He sees that the room is a bit dim,

he sees the guies standing in the corner of a room , near the bar area with drinks, they pour out some and offer it to di but he refuses and goes into the kitchen and fetches a bottle of J20..

On the other hand the girls findout about the bachelor party and leave to catch the guies red handed.The team included neeta,sapna,ajnie and they dragged rids too..

Here in sid's house the night starts as this night club dancer enter with ''shara shara 'from mere yar ki shadhi hai playing in the background

Saying this sanjeev and matt walks to the dancer, while matt and sid are a bit hesitant.Matt gets dregged in and after a while he too joins in.However, sid stays away'maine apni zindagi mie siraf ek he ladki se pyar kiya thaa voh thi meri pathni and no funs outside although she is not a part of my life today.The music is full on and all the guies except for sid are busy enjoying themselves, the girls arrive and walk into the house , they hide behind the wall, all of them are mad

Rids sees sid standing in a corner staying away from the men,

Rids feels quite happy, she rembers the night before their second marriage when his frnds arranged a surprise bachelors but he never got involved as he was tooo loyal to her..rids has small smile remembering those good moments of her life.

Girls although pissed off yet forgives the guies

Sapna: chalo girls lets go for mehandi vaise bhi hume in ladko ke peeche apna time barbad nahi arna chahiye,

Just then all the guies go to their wifes, hold their ears and appologice , girls sees that cute and forgives them.They then hug their wifes.Sid and rids are looking away as they are quite uncomfy they both know if all those things in the past would have not happened then today even they could have been each others arms, Sid walks out of the living room on to where the cars are.Rids watch him as he makes hi way out.

The guies then walk the girls to the car so that they could leave for the mehandi.Sid stands a distance away from the car and watches them all getting into car.Rids turns around and gazes at sid but sid refuses to look back.it wa so awckward they both knew reasons but both couldn't dicuss it because discussion would mean bringing up few old pains.The girls drive away, the mehandi rasam goes well'The wedding is scheduled for next day morning 9:30 and then both sid and rids are scheduled for a late shift right from 10:30 till 5.It was sid's last shift in india.

Everyone is at the wedding venue except for the bride and the breidegroom when anjie suddenly realises that she has forgotten to get something important from home.

Raj on the other hand is trying to contact rahul's school so that he can get an autharised absence for today, but unfortunately the line is not getting through.

Sid, sanjeev and atul are standing together and are discussing about the last minute check list.Rids walks past the men, that catches atul's attention.

meanwhile raj comes to his son (sid)

raj: sid I can't get through to rahul's school to get his attendance uthorised for today, u know how the school is like so can u pls drive down there and inform them abt it

saj: oh! Yh simi and rahul go to the school rite

saj: that's gd then sid u can drive rids down there to and then later on take to ajie's house to fetch the stuff

atul: oh yh that's a gd idea..

s: errr..hmm I have got to pop into the hospital, vaise bhi its my last day today and I have stuff to get too soo it might take a while its betta if rids drives on her own because then atleast she would get back on time

rids(realises that it was sid's last day, she looks up into sid's eyes and then she speaks in a disappointed tone) sid is right I will quickly drive myself down and comeback in time'

raj: betta sid will come with u aur sid tum don't be silly we have got such an imporatant ceremony happening in few hours time aur tumhe hospital ki padi hai ..vaise bhi u have a shift later so get the stuff then, rids betta go with him

They walk outside the house get into the car and drive off, the journey to the school was very silent, there was once again that awckward silence, sids eyes were focussed on the road,while rids was determined not to look in his directions.Once they

Were at school, sid parks the car and they both walk to the reception.They are waiting at the desk for someone to turn up meanwhile a couple emerges there too.After few seconds a lady turns up the help desk.

Lady: morning! How can I help u ?

Sid gestures to rids after u

Rids: who actually meri neice beemar hai and she won't be able to come to school today so just wanted to authorise her attendance ,

L: could u pls tell me her name? her class and her form?

Rids replies to the lady 's request and that is done.Ater that its sid's turn to speak.The couple now turns up behind the sid and rids and are paying attention to whatevea sid was saying.The same questions were reperated to sid too and he answered.

They thank the receptionist and turn to leave, when the couple behind them decide to interact with sid and rids.

Rids is a bit hurt because she now realises that they don't even share friendship as all those rights have been taken away from them in the past.

Sid and rids look at each other they both know this guy is touching on things from past which either of them do not want to go over'..

Both sid and rids get back into the car the atmosphere in the car is more uncomfy now because of what has happened before.

Sid drives to anjie's house they get there,rids go into the house and gets the stuff and quickly gets back to the car

Sid and rids are about to drive off when sids phone rings..it was dr phill

S: hi phill, how are u doing ?

P: so then u r retuning on Sunday evening right ?

P: cool just phoned to check that, as I was doing the rota for next week

Phill hangs up, rids who was listening to the convo is completely disappointed, sid starts the car and drives off.it was quite clear that sid had no intentions what so ever to extend his visit as he even told the doc to put him down for the next rota, rid's eyes were about to get moist but then she controls her emotions.rids then turns around to face sid so that she can resume a conversation'

Saying this the girls open the pasnger seat of the car pulls rids outside and drags her away.Rids is looking back at sid as she is being taken away ans sid is returning back her glances, he closes his eyes as soon as she disappears from his vision.

An hour passes away and now its 9:15am , the bride is nearly ready and the groom is there in the venue already.On the special request form neeta sid was asked to walk her down on the isle.It was 9:15, sid walks in to the room where the bride is getting ready

Its only sid and rids now, rids is watching sid wh is getting drenched..Sid now takes off his jacket, he is still paying no attention to if anyone is watching him or not.Sid now lies on the stairs supporting his head with his arms,..

Sid finish singing , now he has kind of stabilised himself after that break out in private with himself, he senses someone behind.He turns around to look when a chilli breze from somewhere blows and his face gets covered with a wet dupatta,Sid's face is completely covered in that duppata, he slides one his hand out of his pocket lifts it to his face and slowly removes the wet dupatta from his face.He opens his eyes to see ridhima completely drenched too, her hair was completely wet,her kajal spread around the rear of her eyes making her look more beautiful than ever.They have a brief eye lock.After few minutes they back to their senses Rids now feels cold as neck and tummy are both exposed. her neck is completely bare, she crosses her arms around her chest.Sidd who is holding on to her duppata looks at it opens it and then goes to rids wraps it around her back and encloses her in it.He then walks to where his jacket was picks it up and walks staright down the stairs into the house without looking back.

Rids who watches him walk away - 'janthi hu un poorani yadoon ko ley kar naraz ho'

Sid goes straight into the changing room and changes into another suit fo reception.Rids too walk inside soon after. AND GOES AND CHANGES THERE ARE AFTER WEDDING EVENTS HAPPENING in the hall like couple dance etc'

All the couples dance and now it was time to pair up sid with someone , so sanjeev goes and invited tam on to the floor although hesitant in the beginning, she eventually accepts the offer, they dance together for a while on a really nnice soft romantic song, she gets so carried away for a second that she rests her head on sid's shoulder .Ridhima who is watching this is getting uncomfy, sanjeev who is on the same table senses this and has decided to take advantage of the situation,

Sanj to atul :hmm these guies look cute as a couple ..u know what they should get together '

Sid and tam stop dancing soon ,sid leaves for upstairs and tam goes and joins'atul, anjie,rids and sanjie on their table..

Rids was a bit confused here because she wasn't sure which wife of sid tam was talking about , was it his late wife or was it herself,this confusion is beause rids is still unware that his past.

Sanjeev:well'mujie nahi lagtha ki sid ki zidagi mie fir se koyi ladki aa sakthi hai..kyon ki woh ek esse stage par pahunch chukka hai jaha usse pyarr aur shadhi jaise kisi cheese par koyi vishwas nahi hai ( he looks at rids)

'atul now changes the topic of conversation as he tries to lightens the mood.Its now time for games and to share experiences, all the girls buz around the groom and guies around around the groom, everyone now meet up in the hall and sits down together in the hall, they talk about individual wedding experiences, sid and rids look at each other knowing their wedding exepriences were not plesant at all.Time passes by and sid realises it was time for his shift. Everyone then plan to meet up at sid's house later that evening.Rids tooo bids goodbye to everyone and heads for the hospital.

At the hospital

Sid is in his cabin getting ready to ressume his duty.He walks to his chair where his ab coat is lying, he takes his jacket of hangs it on a hanger and clings it on to a ros, he then undos his cuffs and folds his sleeves, he touches the lab coat grabs it ' yeh mera akhri shift hai aj yaha is hospital mie aur akhiri mauka rids ke sath kame karne ka..He adjustes his seth around his neck, 'right dude ur official last shift before u go' he smiles disappotingly..

In the staff room

Rids too is getting ready to ressume her job, she puts her lab coat and grabs her steth ,She grabs the file that she was ment to be reading , opens it but her mind drifts away to some thoughts' this will be the last time I will ever work with sid, the last time, another 24hrs and then he wil again be completely gone from my life'

Rids in her mind : 'cute doc'

2^nd nure: dam yarr kash ki voh hamesha yehi rehta,

1^st nure: I know yerr, but anyway usne ek brefeing session ulayi hai pure unit ki 5 baje soo we will get to see him for the last time there.i wish ki voh mujse pyar kartha

rids feels a bit jelous, but then she calms down yeh jo cute doctor jise sab itna chate hai, yeh kabhi mera hua kartha thaa lekin maine kabhi uske kadar nahi kee aur fir usse kho diya humesha humesha ke liye, rids now has her eyes closed.Someone comes up to her and remind her of the duty she was due for.Rids gets up and leaves..Although it was sid's last day he was quite busy , there was hardly any oppertunities for SR to talk .Rids however expected few glimse of him, she looked on to the door from to time in the hope of seeing sid but each time she was only disappointed.

It was now 4:45 few minutes away from what sid can officially call it a levae.It was a short shift as compared to the ones he is used to however by the end he was completely nacked, back sid in his cabin and he is siting on his chair,

Sid: pew! Its was a short shift yet I feel completely nacked, I guess I am getting too used to this Indian system which could be a problem..ummm I think there are also other things that I am starting to get found off and I know for a fact that this is not a good sign , arghhh back to London now..

Sid assembles all his stuff, iss jagah aur yaha ke yadon ke liye meri zindagi mie koyi jagah nahi honi chahiye kyonki agar mie iss ke bare mie soochn thoo all that will bring me back to ridhima jiske bare mie chah kar bhi mai sochna nahi chatha ( now guies this line here is important because that shows the actual state in which sid is )..

The closck strikes 5.right, its 5 already I should go to conference hall as they will be waiting there for me.He grabs his jacket and bag puts the straps on to his shoulder, walks to the door glimses back at his chair and the room for the one final look and then steps out and shuts the door behind,he walks through the corridor to the conference hall everyone is waiting including rids( btw rids has finishd her shift).sid walks into the room and glances at every face, he looks at rids with a disappointment and the looks away,with a very light disappointed smile.

S: hi guies ! u might be wondering why I called u lot in here..so lemme put u out of the misery, hey guies just wanted to say a big thanku 4 ur support and help that I had in my time here, u are an amazing team and its been a pleasure meeting u.thanku once again

Saying this sid this sid finishes.Everyone gets up and crowds around him to say final good bye, while ridhima is standing in her place absoring the fact that this 'was it'.She wants to say good bye too but as there are soo many people ahead of her she knows she doesn't stand a chance,rids therefore walks out of the room and waits at the door so that she can speak to him

Max: dr ridhima ape yaha kya kar rehi hoo ?

R: who kuch nahi sid see 'voh mera matlab hai dr modi se bath karni thi

M: okay he should be coming out soon then

As soon as max leaves, sid walkes out he sees rids there and glances at her she walks to him.Sid then starts walking through the corridors, so does rids along with her

R: tumhari flight kitne baje ki hai

S: Sunday subah 12am

There is a brief silence on the way and they reach the end of the corridor , where there is a partition to the left is the lift and to the right is the exit to stairs..

S: ummm, u are the only person I havn't thanked yet'..ummm thanks 4 all ur support its been great working with u and I am sorry about the times that I have lost my cool and have been mad to u'he gives a faint smile

R: no that's k.

S: well this might be the last opportunity to say good bye (as they know even if they are meeting later that night they are still gonna be packed with people so they will never have any opportunity to speak)

He extends his hand,

R: kyat um lift nahi ley rehe hai

S: no muje stairs lene hai'

Rids tooo extends her hand and slowly touches his hand and they too share a brief shakehand'

S: ridhima its just not a matter of going by lift or stairs humare rasthe kafi pehle alag ho chuke hai.

They smile at each other and sid starts to lossen his grip on rid's hand, slowly but eventually their handa are not holding at all.sid turns and makes his exit towards the stairs without looking back..He runs down the stairs to the car park and drives off before ridhima can even reach there..

Rids on the other hand reaches the car park only when sid is gone, she unlocks the car and steps in, closes the door and rests her head against the head stand.'sid ja reha hai..'

Meanwhile her phone rings she comes out of her thought, it was anjie

R: ha dee bolo

A: eyy hum sab yaha sid ghar pe hai, tum aa rehi hoo naa

R: noo de mera mood nahi hai

A: don't be silly rids aa na

Sapan and rahul are with anjie listening to what rids is saying,

Sapna grabs the phone

S: ridhima aauna pls

R: sorry sapna meri tabiyat kaharab hai also I had a long day at work'

S: aww ..kya hua

R: bus sar dard hai

S: don't worry tum bus yaha aa javo tumhara sar dard bhi teek ho jayega

(Rids in her mind: vaha jane ke matlab fir se matlab sid se fir mila but I just can' stand the pain of saying another good bye to him)

Rahul now snatched the phone..

Ridhima: beta mere sar mie dard hai mai nahi aa sakti

Rahul: pls aunty aa javona ..mai apke sar mie bam laga doonga

Rids just now couldn't refuse the cuteness of the child so she gives away..

Rids hangs up so does rahul and places the receiver down, he turns to sapna and anjie with a grin

R: wopp wopp aunty is coming, he given both of thema nice hi5 and runs away in joy.

Sid arrives home and finds everyone there, he goes upstairs freshen up, changes and comes downstairs.he speaks to everyone'after a while rids too arrives sid sees her from a distance and gives her a faint smile but makes no attempts to go near her and leaves from the hall where she was, the girls come up to her and speaks to her..they all chat and then few minutes later rahul runs in and goes straight into rids arms.Sid's mum and padma are watching this scene from a distance..they both can see the sweet bound which both of them are sharing,rahul now says something in ridhima's ears gets out of her lap and drags her away leaving the girls to think where he has taken her.Rahul walks her up the stairs into sid's room

Rids enters the room.

Rids: rahul yeh tum muje kaha ley aye

Rahuls: yeh mere papa ka karma hai , ape bayto na

Rids looks around and sees rahul's pictures and adhi-niki's picture too..she was about to walk to the picture of her old buddies when rahuls held her by her hand and pulled her along on to the bed, he made her sid down there.He then walks to the bedside cabinet and grabs a small tub of 'tiger bam'.

Rahuls: now lie down on the bed

Rids :kya?

Rahul:Well maine kaha thana ki agar ape yaha ayi thoo mai apka sar dard teekh hone ke liye apke sir mie dam laga dunga..

Rids just couldn't do anything else on the sweetness of the guy apart from following his instructions.Rids lies down on the bed.While lying down she accidentally knocks a brown envelope down which was lying on top of the cabinet.The envelope falls down and the paper inside pops out.The paper was regarding some offer for a property sid had purchased 6yrs ago('sid bought a property few months before he filled for divorce but he never told me ), it was a offer from a guy who was looking forward to buy the property.Rids puts the paper back in the envelope and places it back on the bedside cabinet.

Meanwhile downstairs sid is looking for rahul, he goes to the ladies and ask them where he is.They give him the info that he went upstairs with rids.Sid now follows their way to get to rahul

In sid's room, rids is lying on his bed closing eyesrahuls takes some bam in his little fingers and spreads it around ridhima's forehead and gives her a light massage with his tender fingers.She was enjoying this cute gesture from the little kid

Rahul: wait ridhima aunty lemme ask dad 2 give u a massage, he can do wonders

Rids: no I am fine my head ache is gone, I am gonna join the girls downstairs saying this she runs away from him.

Rest of the evening passes away and raj and shashank are having a serious convo

Raj: its almost time for sid to return back and I think its time to speak to sid and rids about their future plan.

Sid,rahul and everyone else is downstairs, the voice in the room is a bit low now..Rahuls goes to rids, he holds on to her hand and drags her to sid who is standing along with sanjeev, atul and matt.Rahul walks upto his dad along with rids who doesn't have a clue of whats gonna happen next.He is holding onto rids with one hand , he then extends another hand on to sids arm in an attention to seek his attention. He suceseeds,matt,sanjeev,atul and sid have their wyes fixed on rahul

Rahul: dad Can I ask u something

Sid looks at rids cluelessy and then turns his attention to his son

R: dad I wan't rids as not an aunty but as mum

Sid, rids and the others are in complete shock

There is a complete silence in the room and everyone is now listening to this father son conversation..

Sid now turns his attention from rahul and walks to rids

Sid lifts his head and looks at her intensely in shock, with light tears running down his eyes

Saying this he opens the room and walks outside where everyone was standing, sid reaches the end of the hall to exit from there but sanjeev stops him there.rids tooo slowly walks out of the room she was previously in with sid and is now outside with everyone.

Sid then lies on the bed thinking for a while ans slowly drifts away to sleep. It was 9 am next morning almost time for sid to leave .He did not want his parents to accompany him to the airport so he is getting ready to say goodbye to everyone.shashank and padma are ther too , they accept sid's decision to not to marry rids again.He says good bye to everyone, there is no sign of rahul anywhere

They reach the desk and they have to scrap the conversation.meanwile rids reaches the airport and sees tam and sid at the desk.They finish checking and its time for sid to leave..rids feels jelous as she sees tam having the right to see him but not her however on a second thought she realises that she holds no relationship with sid not even that of friendship hence y she cannot see him.she wants to say good bye to him but decides to say back and watch him from a distance.

Tam and sid were outside security gates and now have to say good bye

Rids places her hand on tams hand which is resting on the pavements of her car's door

On the other hand sid has had his security checking and is now is only 15mins away before making his final journey.Sanj calls and has a brief discussion with sid

Sid completely ignores whatever sanj says..The announcement for final boarding is made and then sid comes and lines in the que

rids went looking all around and she then asked rahul where his dad was.he said, he is usually in the pool this time

. He calls rahul to jump in and he is into the pool on his dad's instructions,they play around in the swimming pool .Rids stand near the pool admiring the son and dad..after a while it was time to come out of the pool, rahul swims out, rids catches him and dries his head with the towel, while sid is a bit hesitant as he is aware of ridhima's presence and the fact that he was only in his shorts.he asks them to leave and says theat he will stay for a while.as soon as rids and rahul leaves . sid quickly comes out and puts his bath robe on and walks out of the the basement into his room to change. Few more days passes away and sid and rids were getting use to their private life's . It was a bit upsetting for rids as sid and her hardly shared any good moments together and it was only turning out to be a full proof contract marriage.one day after work ajie calls sid and rids up and invite's them home for a final re-union before sanj, mat and their families would retun back to London.Although sid hated social occations but since it was his close mates he didn't resis and agreed to go.Next day was another long day and tirey day for sid ' the hospital but rids was on a short shift so she came home early.Sid finaly reaches home , he has a massive head-ache so he decided to go to his room and change straight away.He walks to his room and opens the door straight away. Ridima on the other hand was getting ready on the room after a shower, she was putting on the palloo of her saree when sid opened the door, they both stand in shock staring at each other.

She is looking around the room, now she gazes her eyes to the bedside cabinet on which was kept and alarm, she reacalls how much sid hated that alarm and loved his sleep.'Sid today, is different he sleeps less and works more'. There was also a picture of SR on the drawer top to which looks and smiles.
