Down the stairs walked his bride, surrounded by Riddhima, Anjali, and Muskaan, not to mention Rahul, , Atul, JP, and Jiggy.
The bride walked to the mandap and sat down beside him. Abhi whispered in the bride's ear. "We're finally getting married. I'm so happy!"
The bride giggled and whispered an "I Love You" in his ear.
The stood up and took the pheras, then sat down while the pundit told Abhi to put sindoor and a mangalsutra on the bride.
Riddhima held the ghoongat up, and everyone saw the face of the beautiful bride. Abhi's hand rose to put the sindoor and
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Abhi, who had been sleeping peacefully, was awakened by his wife's scream.
"Nikki, sweetie, what happened?" He helped her get up, and gave her a glass of water.
Instead, she started hitting him on his chest. "Abhi, How. Dare. You. Do. This. To. ME! Didn't you even think of our unborn kids? You didn't think of me? What were you even thinking?" She started crying, while Abhi was confused as to what he had done.....or hadn't done.
"Nikki, can you tell me what I did?"
She cried even more. "You...you...Armaan...You were getting married to Armaan!"
"Huh? Wait-WHAT?! Nikki! Ughhhh! Disgusting! Sweetie, I'm not getting married to ARmaan, it was just a dream....I'm not gay!"
"Promise?"
"Yes I promise! Nikki, you know I'm not gay! How else could we be having twins? I'm NOT gay! Now on the other hand, Armaan might be..." he mused.
"Abhi! Ammy's not gay!"
"He could be! Wait-- how do YOU know he's not gay????!!"
"Ewww....Abhi, Ammy's like my brother! Dont even think of that!"
"Okay, okay......go back to sleep.....and don't dream about it again!"
"Abhi, where are you?"
"I'm in the Star Hotel with Armaan."
"WHAT? Abhi, you promised you weren't gay! Then why are you in a hotel with Armaan?" She sobbed harder.
"Nikki. We are here for a conference!" Exhasperated, Abhi shook his head.
"Of...of the Gay Community?" Nikki weeped.
"NIKKI! No!!! A medical conference with Dr. Shashank."
"Doctor Shashank is gay too??? Does Padma Aunty know? OMG. Let me tell Ridzy that both her husband and her father are gay! Bechari!"
"Nikki, no-" But the line was already disconnected...
