Mayur oneshot- Trust
Mayank and nupur were childhood friends. They were the best friends. Mayank would come to know if nupur had any problem before nupur told it and same was with nupur she would always find out what problem mayank had before mayank told her. as the time passed both grew up mayank had started loving nupur but he never told her because he knew nupur did'nt love him but she loved samrat. Little did she know was samrat loved gunjan and the day she got to know about it she was shattered. The two family decided to get mayank and nupur married. Nupur too agreed for the marriage she knew mayank was the only person who would understand her as he always did. But as the time passed mayank's insecurity took over his love for nupur. Nupur's past always haunted him and made him insecure. He feared of loosing her and this fear turned his nature into suspicious one. He had now started suspecting nupur for tiny things however nupur just ignored it as she thought he suspected her but somewhere he trusted her.
Nupur and samrat were in cafe talking and laughing. Samrat had called nupur to the caf as he wanted to talk to her something important. Mayank too had come to the same caf for his official work he saw both of them talking and laughing. It hurted mayank a lot. Mayank's blood was boiling seeing nupur with someone else but he calmed himself and did not wanted to create scene. Mayank was about to go when he turned back and saw
"I love you" said samrat sitting on his knees holding nupur's hand and this made mayank more angry he went away from their in anger without knowing the whole truth.
"How was it gunjan would accept naa?" asked samrat to nupur
"Of course samrat gunjan gunjan would surely accept your proposal" said nupur
"so when are you gonna tell mayank that you love him" asked samrat.
"soon samrat today I would tell mayank how much I love him" said nupur and left the caf
She entered the house and straightly went to her room to freshen up. Today was the day when she would tell mayank that she loves him. She was happy with the thought of telling him but every thing in our life does not happen as per our wish. Little did she know was today her and mayank's relation would change forever. As she entered the room she saw mayank was already there sitting on the bed with an angry look.
"So you are back how was your date with Samrat" asked mayank furiously. Nupur was shocked by his question but she ignored it as she had decided she would let mayank know her feeling tonight. So she started walking towards bathroom to freshen up but was stopped by mayank.
"Nupur nothing is gonna change even if you ignore me. So today you must be happy at last you got back your love. At last samrat proposed you" said mayank furiously
"Mayank what are you talking about" said nupur confused
"God damned just stop acting so innocent nupur, what do you think don't I know any thing and neither can you prove me wrong today I have my self seen you with samrat and him proposing you" said mayank furiously
Nupur understood what mayank was talking about. So she decided to clarify it.
"Mayank you are taking it all wrong me and samrat are just friend and nothing more then that and samrat was not proposing me he was just'" but she was stopped by mayank
" Stop lying nupur and please just stop telling this thing again and again that you and samrat are just friends and nothing more then that don't I know that you loved samrat or you still love him." Said mayank furiously. Nupur had heared enough and she was not able control her anger any more.
"Just stop it mayank enough is enough even if I always keep listening to all your rubbish it does'nt mean that what you are saying is true. Yes I loved samrat once in my life but he was my past and you are my present and future why can't you understand it" said nupur who was on the verge of crying.
"Oh nupur stop it. Please stop this record that samrat was my past and I'm your present and future. It's samrat who is your past present and future and this is the only thing which is wall in our relation ship." Said mayank furious
"just stop it mayank I have heard enough of your rubbish and it's not my past it's your suspicious nature which is creating distance between us. I know you are insecure when it comes to me but your insecurity have turned your nature to suspicious one and this is the only thing which is creating rift in our relationship. I thought you were the only person who understood me. Till today I ignored all your rubbish questions only because I thought you trusted me and you believe me. I think we need to give some time to our relationship" said nupr wiping her tears
"Nupur what do you mean by we need to give time" asked mayank
"Mayank as long as love is an important ingredient in one relationship trust and understanding are equally important and if it's not there even love has no value and I think we need time to trust and understand each other" said nupur and packed her bag while mayank was standing there.
"As your wish nupur do what you want" said mayank in anger. Before leaving nupur turned a looked at mayank
"Mayank do you know what today I have not only lost you as a husband but I have also lost my friend , the friend who always understood me, who always trusted me and was always besides me whenever I needed him" said nupur while tears were flowing down her cheeks. She left the house and went to her house to stay there for little time.
In the evening samrat came to mayank's house.
"Hey dude ok just tell me where is nupur I have a good news for her" said samrat excitedly
"Samrat she has went out for somework something important" said mayank
"Yeh I wanted to tell her that gunjan has accepted my proposal and we are soon gonna get engaged" said samrat while mayank stood there in shock
"Gunjan" said mayank
"Oh sorry I forgot to introduce you to gunjan my girlfriend and soon-to-be wife said samrat placing his hands around gunja's shoulder. You know what it was your wife nupur because of whom I have got the love of my life in the morning too before going to meet gunjan I had met nupur in the caf and showed her the way I was going to propose gunjan." Said samrat. It was then mayank understood the whole thing that nupur was right it was him who was responsible for creating rift in their relationship but it was too late now.
