Moti is sitting on the stool rolling rotis for dinner, she places a roti on the tal and in thought remembering this afternoon when she attempted to call DM and after a few rings he cut the line, he deliberately cut the line, hes not once returned the call to apologise and give a reason, 5 months, 5 months I've been living in this hell hole Kanji Vaghela calls this home, its better if Nanka sent me to prison Moti's thinking to herself 😡 The compact hut, the old furniture, the dust, the heat, no AC, the flies, insects, the bathroom out in public, the kitchen unequipped just the basics, oh how she missed MMansion, how she missed Champkali Africa Ki Katrina right now running around after her taking orders, she was Malkin and here she is also is but Malkin of the dump with this Kanji, Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi dufford wondering annoyed at this question (how did you become mine?) Moti smells smoke and sniffs and realised that the roti has burnt and in anger with the tong, she picks the roti up and throws it at the wall, in doing this Kanji walks in.

Kanji: Taru don't take it out on the food, whatever anger you have, if you keep doing this, there will be no food left to actually eat.

Moti: Ey Kanji, I'll throw what I want and where I want and just be glad its not at your face, sumji!

Kanji: Itna gussa, bupreh! Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi? Bughvan, meih tu achi insan na??? 😲 (Soo much anger, my gosh, how did you become mine, god, I'm a good person right???)

Moti: kya..kya..kya bolti tu? (what...what...what did you say?)

Kanji: Kuck neih! (nothing!)

Moti: Good! I want to go home and see Nanka, arrange for a car to collect me first thing in the morning, its been 4 months and not one person has come to visit me nor asked me to go home and Nanka, I cannot believe hes forgotten about me doesn't check to see if I'm alive or dead, I'm his motiben!

Kanji thinks of DM's words 4 months ago and his promise he made to keep Moti in his home forever and take up his responsibilities and now that Santu is 5 months pregnant, DM didn't want Moti around just incase making trouble and nor did Kanji want his niece to suffer and made promise to himself and to his bestfriends no longer here that Santu is more like a daughter to him and she will remain happy and in this most important beautiful time in her life and he will put his foot down, Moti is going no where! 😳

Kanji: Dharamraj sent you here for a reason and without his approval you cannot go and I your husband will not let you and I do not give you permission.

Moti: Permission! Look I am here because Nanka told me to come here and if I want to go visit my brother, my Moulik and my other children, you cannot stop me 😡

Kanji: If you remember, Dharamraj left you in my care and only when I say and let you go, you will go and that is final. Dharamraj will call you to VISIT when he is ready, he still is angry by your mistreatment of Santu, even though Santu may have forgiven you because that is Santu, Dharamraj has not, your his sister and he respects you but as he said, a girls home is her husband's home, Santu is in her husband's with him and your are in yours with me and Khanji Vaghela keeps his promises and this I promised not only to Dharamraj but to Moulik that I will take care of you. I know you treat Moulik as your son but he is not your son, we need to face it the child that died all those years ago was ours, (Kanji's eyes are tear rimmed and facing up to never meeting his actual son but Moulik was the just like a son no matter what) 😭 Moulik is Dharamraj's son and your his Foi, shower him with love but don't try to emotionally hurt him.

Moti: Bhass, bhass, enough of this husband's house talk and telling me what and how my brother should be handled, if you want to eat today, leave me alone and go and get some more utta as its nearly running out.

Moti sits there thinking to herself once Khanji gone, she will call DM and convince him to let her come home, this dhand is unbearable and like last time, he let her back home, Nanka cannot live without me nor can he stick to his dhands for long. Moti gets out her mobile which was tucked in her saree, checking Kanji has left with his dirty shawl, she dials DMs number but theres no connection, she runs around the hut but theres nothing there, she climbs up on the draws and sits there, theres connection, she lets out a high giggle and little dance and dials DMs number, it rings and shes hypa then the battery goes dead, she runs to get her charger and plug it in to the socket but the electric went an hour ago and hasn't come back, damn this.

Moti: Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Kanji Vaghela!!!!!!!!! 😡

Kanji looks in and walks off laughing, good that he turned off the electric and takes the switch with him. Kanji missed her comedic moments 😆

BACK AT M'MANSION

Baa, Bapuji, Santu, Thoral, Birwa, Suraj, Hiten, Moulik and Champa are all in the hall sitting doing all the usual stuff, reading magazines, books, doing homework and sewing. Thoral has the stereo on whilst reading her fashion magazine. Santu hears DM's voice and gets up from her seat and gets water for him. She hurriedly brings the tray and hands him a glass with her warmest smile. DM glad to be greeted by Santu as many days since he has put her on bed rest shes been couped up in the bedroom and DM realises that she needs to be around everyone and do the tiny minor things like with helping prepare vegetables, food that did not require too much strenious time to prepare with the supervision of Baa, Thoral or Champa with the cooking. He missed coming home and not been greeted by her smile so this was bliss when he had a long or bad day at the factory, one glimpse of her the headache was left outside the door and he walked into her happiness into their world 😍

Santu: Malik uppe agaya, meih upko intazar kartey, meih upko khanna lagow? (Malik you've come, I've been waiting for you, shall I get dinner ready for you)

DM: Ha, bohot bohok lagicheh (yep, I'm really hungry)

Champa: Malkin, I'll serve Malik.

Santu: No Champa, the food is ready hot, its out on the patio so I'll sit and serve Malik, you go back and help Suraj with his puzzle.

DM surprised with Santu's preparations of having dinner out on the patio, nicely decorated table and lantons hanging 😳 DM looking sits down and Santu sits next to him. DM can smell the aroma of the food once Santu lifts the lids and DM just golfs in the rich smells knowing very well that Santu cooked it all. Santu serves him, bhajia's, samosas, sweet mango achar, rice, roti, dhaal curry, sabzi shaak and Bateta nu Shaak. DM hungry begins eating and Santu watches.

Santu: Kesi Khana?

DM: Ek dom sarass! 😃😃 (DM licking his fingers) I've missed your cooking in all these days, you didn't tire yourself out from making all this na?

Santu: Neih Malik, Thoral and Champa helped me.

DM: Dheku, meih tere liye kya layeh! (look what I have brought for you)

DM gets out a small box and hands it to Santu, who takes it and opens it up and finds her favourite chocolates which are rare to find only you have to go to Surat to buy them. Santu happy and shocked 😛

Santu: Malik, my favourite chocolates?

DM: I brought them from the village, Moni Kaka had some in his store so I went there and got you some, eat them whilst I eat my dinner chal chal.

Santu takes a piece of chocolate out and takes a bite 😛 she longed for some chocolate and had been craving it since last night and may have mentioned it but she was sure she didn't tell DM but there was no chocolate in the house as Thoral's dieting with Birwa and Suraj's baby teeth are falling out and Baa said no chocolates. Whilst eating, Santu notices a piece of paper and takes it out of the box and sees its a receipt from Surat.

Santu: Malik, was your important business to go to Surat to buy me these chocolates?

DM: Neih tu, meih tu..... 😕

DM sees that Santu has the receipt in her hand. Santu's mouth is open with disbelief and touched of the gesture, DM had gone all the way to Surat to buy her her favourite chocolates which did not come to D'Pur only once in a while 😳

Santu: Malik, so whats this receipt???

DM: Areh, you caught me out and me being a dufford, forgot to take the receipt out of the box.

Santu laughs and DM laughs along with her 😆 DM finishes eating and washes his hands and SANRAJ go and sit on the swing. DM tells her to close her eyes. Santu closes her eyes. DM puts something around her neck and then tells her now to open her eyes. Santu opens her eyes and looks down and sees a beautiful gold locket with two diamond stone in it. She looks at it, it was beautiful simple but stunning, DM knew her taste very well and this she would love. Santu opens up the locket and there inside is a wedding picture of Santu and DM with glass covering it for protection and on the other half of the locket is a message engraved in small which says:-
