sam wanted to propose to her finally..but she got neil along with her..who was her fiancee!..ah, sad..

he was so heartbroken..n even the song couldn't express hw mch!..aww..

Its on SaJan.. I read only mostly MayUr ff

But its pretty different.

Life Is A Race

Life is a race, if you do not run fast you will be like a broken egg.🤢

Yes, thats a dialogue from the very famous movie 3 Idiots. Now you will want to ask that how does it relate to my situation, right?

When an egg breaks it means it has lost its life. So basically I did not run fast enough and so I lost my life (Gunjan). I'm like a broken egg now, only the shell remains.🥺

Surviving in harmony with bitter truth is a real burden. Gunjan spent such a humungous amount of time with me and her fiance TOGETHER that it hurt to know that she was close yet too far away.😭 But Neil? What could be wrong with him? Sometimes his eyes reflected an acute streak of anger or jealousy whenever my name was mentioned to him (and that happened to be frequent, thanks to Gunjan).😡 Finding my angel inches apart from that guy burned my insides but my smile never left my face.😊

How much ever may it crumble me from inside but my smile was always present. It was a constant source of assurance to my angel, always promising to stand by her side through thik and thin.😊

My days were going longer.....no, no....not because I had fallen in love but because I had found a way to fall out of it. I decided to divert my mind (to keep it stable😕) and became a workoholic; perhaps another reason to my decision was Neil. I understood his feeling of insecurity and thought it would definitely be best if the couple would spend some quality time together and not be disturbed by one of their best friend. And so my week turned out to be long and hectic.

It was a friday night when I returned from office and was having a cup of coffee in my bedroom with happy memories of Chashmish haunting me when my cellphone rang. It was Benji.

Me: Hello.....😔

Benji: Hello brother!! Kya haal hai?😃

Me: Thik hu bhai, aap batao?😔

Benji: Batane ke liye hi to phone kia hai. Me and Dia are finally getting married aur tera mere shaadi mein aana compulsory hai. Isi mahine ke 16 taarikh ko engagement hai. Tujhe kab aur kitne baje recieve karu?😃😉

I thought it over. For the past two weeks I have been trying to figure out ways to avoid Gunjan and Neil and I finally found a foolproof way. If I let go of this ooportunity I might never be able to distance Chashmish from myself.🤔

Benji: Oye so gaya kya?😡

Me: Oh sorry, nahi........main zaroor aunga and I'll manage myself.😊

Benji: Sure?😲

Me: Pakka promise.😊

Benji: Ye hui na baat. Waise bhi teri bhaabhi tujhse milne ko betaab hai.😃

Me: Aur aap bhaabhi ke liye betaab hain.😆

Benji: Apne bhai ki hi khinch raha hai?😒

Me: Achha achha sorry bhai. Chalo abhi main office waalon ko mana leta hu pehle.😆 Congratulations bhai. Bye.😊

Being a Managing Director has its own advantages. Managing Director can manage a good amount of leave for himself without much effort too.😉

It was all planned now. I was leaving for Lucknow the next day and I obviously wont be informing Gunjan. I rang up Benji and informed him that my flight was scheduled for the next day morning and he was obviously overjoyed.

I packed my luggage, informed my parents about my trip and retired for the night.🥱
