Sookie,
Very nice fic.... meeting "half way".... making the more practical Riddhima to think from her heart and understand the intangibles. Hope that in coming parts we will get to see development / change in Armaan's character as much as it has happened in Riddhima's, credit to this beautiful emotional relationship.
great work! hope to see an update soon!

Sookie firstly I apologize for the delayed comment I hadn't had a chance to read my favorite story…can you believe that?

Ok where do I start and what do I say. I have been a huge fan of Robert Frost since I first read "the road not taken" back in early high school; there is something in that poem which still touches me today. Dream Pang is another favorite; it expresses anxiety and fear of severance so well. At first Armaan's appearance was not making any sense to me however when you gave the mention of the poem towards the end, everything clicked.

It was a beautiful update and actually you have inspired me to dig up my Frost's poetry book I haven't read since high school. My other favorite poet is Emily Dickinson…"because I could not stop for death, he kindly stopped for me"..gives me the chills.

Thanks for updating this Sookie, this is one of the best stories I have read and I love the slow and subtle progression of the AR relationship.

Hello,

Thank you very much for the comment. Its interesting that you have bought up the aspect of Armaan here. The whole series is written from Riddhima's point of view and the way she moves from adolescence to adulthood. The transition time is what I believe is a high strung wire; strong and tight. One wrong move, the wire snaps and becomes hard to repair or completely irreparable. Thus it takes her almost six year to be what she is.
Armaan, is on a different tangent altogether. He knows what he wants. He knows who she is. And somehow he knows that they will be together.
But how they come together, is something worth writing about.
Thanks for your comments!

Finally the lady replies!!!

Thanks and warm welcome (*Cough*back*cough*) :D

This update is my personal favorite too. :-)

Its interesting you bought up Emily Dickenson since she is my favorite too. Not a hard core fan as I am of Longfellow or Wordsworth or Poe or Blake, but I like her enough to read about her works every once in a while. She just has that thing, the words she writes about reality which none of my favorites can even think in their best times.
And its all about Emily Dickenson in Lapsus Lingue!

OMG you like Longfellow, Wordsworth and Poe😲 I adore their work Longfellows "A Psalm of Life" and Poe's "annabelle lee" are personal faves. Am not so big on Blake and I read a few of Yeates something about "Tread Softly" by Yeates just pulls me to read more of his work. Ok I so agree with your take on Emily I was 14 when I first read a poem of hers it was probably no more than a few lines but she was definitely able to grab my attention.
I will surely have to check out Lapsus Lingue now
