Raunak, nupur and anna walked together to class.

r- maine to decide kar liya hai main kabhi shaadi nahi karunga! No matter what happens!

a-kyun bhai?

r-dhek simple hai anna. Shaadi hui nahi, aur hum bechaare mardon ki zindagi khatam hi ho jaati hai.

n-wo kyun?

She said smiling at his nonsense.

r-arre yaar. Yeh mardon ki baat hoti hai. Tum ladkiyaan kya samjhogi! Jao jao!

a-hun?excuseme? what do you mean? Hum ladkiyan koi balaan nahi hai!

r-Acha toh yeh batao ki shaadi hote hi hum ladke kaise badal jaate hai. All no thanks to you girls.

n-acha! tum to aise bol rahe ho jaise hum ladkiyon net um ladkon ko sofe pe baandh ke rakha ho aur tumhe train kiya ho ki aise aise behave karna chahiye!

r-waah waah! Issi ki kami reh gayee thi!

a- nicky just shut up okay.

r-okay okay fine. Acha chalo lets go to the canteen!

a- haan okay!

n- nahi mujhe library jaana hai.

Anna made a face. Raunak shook his head and miled as he said-

r- god man! Your saying it as though someone would eat all the books up if you don't go. Stop it man. Live and let live.

n- so I am not stopping you from going to the canteen am i?

r- uff yaar! See first live meaning please nups jeena seekho! And let live maane humme bhi jeene do.

n- tumhaare jeene se mera kya connection hai?

r- tum hamari dost ho na!

n-haan par-

r- toh apne doston ke bina hum kaise jiye?

He said putting a hand on nupurs shoulders and winked at her.

Nupur smiled. She had never thought of it that way. To tell you the truth she had never had such friends, who said something like this. She had always been around dia, samrat and mayank. And they were never so sweet. Maybe this was something she was gonna learn.

Mayank, gunjan, dia and samrat were sitting on the other side of the room.

g- usko kya lagta hai ki she'll pretend around like this. I mean how chep yaar.

s- I know man. Shes so cheap and stupid.

m- pata hai guys, pata nahi kyu, but I miss the old nupur.

all three of them sstared at him in disbelief.

s- after everything, your saying you miss her!

g- god mayank. Stop getting so emotional. Shes not worth you anyhow. I mean shes the filthy hearted person ever. How could you even think that way?

d- shes right you know. Pata nahi kyu tu usse miss karta. I mean recall that episode when she spread that you n she are not virgins and all that. Yaad hai na kitna tamasha hua tha!

m- haan dia. Par this is a new nupur. Im talking about that nupur who we knew in school. The girl who wouldn't even think of such things. Who was the sweetest girl in the school. I miss that girl yaar. Not this new one!

Dia looked down.

Then mayank drifted back his attention to raunak, anna and nupur. and he saw raunak putting his hand on nupurs shoulder. As he sees this, he feels his blood warming, he could feel his head getting heated. How dare he touch her! no one had that right ecvept him. How dare he! He felt his face contort! He got up and went to the canteen ignoring the other 3s calling after him.

Nupur saw his hand on her shoulder and looks back at him and says-

'okay fine. Ill live and let live. Happy!'

r-you cant imagine!

Raunak moves towards her face and cutely pats his forehead to hers and they both smile.

Anna looks at both of them and cant help but smile.

Anna-(to herself) kuch to pak raha hai!

Suddenly a short cute fat guy come from behind and puts his hands around annas neck and said- yeh kya ho raha hai? Yeh to nupur hai na. yeh nicky ke saath kaise?

A-you know what starbucks main bhi abhi yahi soch rahi thi. Loha garam lag raha hai nahi? Bas hathode ki zaroorat hai.

Anyways high time to come out of smiles.

She looks at them aand- A-HEM-HEM!

Raunak and nupur turn and look at anna.

r- kya hai? Kaunsi balaan aa gayi? That is tumhaare alawa!

a-shut up dude. Anyways yeh kya ho raha tha?

She says pointing at the two of them.

Raunak takes off his hands from her shoulder and says-

'arre yaar. Tum log bhi na. kya ek ladka aur ek ladki sirf dost nahi ho sakte?? '

starbucks- ho to sakte hai.. par yahaa to kuch aur dal pak rahi thi nai??

Nupur looks at him- apka naam?

s- oh main

???

r- rukhja dude. Canteen jaake baithte hai phir yeh sab discuss karenge. Okay!

s- thike dude. Bhabhiji sorry but aap ko thoda wait karna padega mere intro ke liye!

He said laughing cutely at nupur.

Nupur and rauak started blushing, raunak put his hand behind his head and ruffled his hair.

They all went to the canteen together. Nicky with nupur and anna with starbucks.

They took a seat with joel and kashi. Kashi was also known as jaansi ki raani or in short jaansi.

They all took their seats as anna hi fived kashi and joel and said to kashi-

'jai mata di. Whats up!'

k- nothing woman. Baith baith. Apna hi ghar samaj.

a- that's 4 sure jaansi. Aur rondu kaisa hai yaar? How ya doing hun?

Joel- chup kar bloody!

r- zyaada mat bol saale pithega.

j- acha sorry yaaar nicky anna!

r- hey guys meet my new friend nupur bhushan. Nupur this is anna kaushik who you've already met. Shes our number one ladaku(at this anna slowly massaged her arm musceles and winked at nupur) This is keshav(starbucks). And he is also known as star bucks kyu ki isko star bucks waali company bahut pasand hai.

s- waise to I guess tujhe yeh mere size se hi pata chal gaya hoga

n- nahi—

a- star bucks yaar. Apni bezyadi mat karra plz!

All of them started laughing inclusive of nupur.

r- ok going ahead this is joel crock. Our swett lil rondu. He is very emotional isliye kuch ulta seedha mat bolna iske saamne.

j- heyy

n-hi

r- and lastly yeh hai kashi prasad. Our very own jaansi ki raani.

Nupur smiled as she said- hey kashi.

k- hey nupur.

she said smiling back

j- and of course hum sab isko aise greet karte hai-

a- ZOR SE BOLO-

all of them(apart from nupur)- jai mata di!

And all of them started laughing real hard. Nupur hadn't laughed so much since a long long time. And she felt good being around these people. Infact she raunak and anna were laughing so hard they tears started pouring down their eyes.

Suddenly disrupting their happiness mayank came into view and directly turned his attention towards nupur-

m- nupur eh kya ho raha hai?

n-(scared) kya ho raha hai?

m- tum in logon ke saath kya kar rahi ho hun?

Nupur getting back her confidence.

n- mayank na tum mujhse khud baat kar sakte aur na doosre ko mujhse baat karte hue dhek sakte ho! How cheap mayank. Your so sick. Just leave me alone ok!

raunak got up and said-

so aap mr mayank hai. So pleased to meet you. Waise finally aap yahaan aa hi gaye hai to let me teach you the rules dude.

Rule no. 1- mere doston se koi aise baat nahi karta aur na kisi ki aukaad hai.

Rule o 2- you never approach our table without our permission. Got it?

Rule no 3- tum jaise freaky nerd ke liye is table pe koi jagah nahi so piss off.

And last but not the least – tumhaari aukaad is ladki ke pairon pe hai, uske saamne nahi. Alright kiddo!

He said patting his cheeks.

Mayank turned red with rage.

m- tu hota kaun hai mujhe meri aukhaad batane wala hun? Ad listen yeh sudri hui si sweet ladki hai. Isse door raho.

n- mayank nicky just stop it.

She said coming aand standing in between them facing mayank.

n- just go mayank plzzz..!!

as soon as mayank left nupur turned to raunak-

nicky just stop It okay!

Raunak smirked at her- nicky???

Nupur looked down embarrassed.

n- sorry bas sabko tumhe ussi naam se pukaarte sun mujhe bhi wahi yaad ho gaya. Sorry raunak.

r- its nicky.

He said lifting up her face to his level.

r- relax hum saath tumhaare friends hai. You can call us anything.

k- exactly nonie. Like the name?

nupur smiled- ya I do.

a- take chil pill nonie. Hum tere friends dushman nahi. We wont eat you up on your mistakes you know.

j- instead we'll help you!

Hearing them nupur felt ecstatic and strangely weird. Was this what friendship called? if yes then what was that, that me, samrat, dia and mayank had shared?

So many yet no answers.

Yet nupur was determined to find the answers
