Coming to the part......wah wah wah....👏👏👏

Armaan-Ridhhima part was so good that it will be rude to analyse it in bits and pieces. Shaka Pola - dont know anything about this tradition, but it so gelled with the character of Armaan....that he would save something that auspicious for 'her'. Gappu-Minnie...I just love them....the way Gappu caught Armaan in Ridhhima's room...you had me in splits. Why did Anjali invite Vivek????? or did you come uninvited??? I hope Armaan is privy to Ridhhima's diary soon. I am sure he will be able to read the cryptic words she has in there.

About time, too..... though I'm really sorry about your injured limb. Hope you had a good time away, broken hand notwithstanding. Will return to add my my two pennies worth.

A much anticipated part, and must say didn't feel let down at all by either the length or content 😊 After the midnight/dawn tryst at Ridhhima's place, all I can say is One cannot love and be wise... what happened to the old Armaan I say 😆

Nj, hats off to you for writing such a fab part one handedly! I am still relishing in the sweet AR moments; you can't blame me there as you have conveniently deprived us of such pleasures for a very long time. Personally I devoured the innocent romance that took place between the two, for reasons unknown to me I am glad that they did not start groping each other at first sight. However, I was yearning for a kiss and I am glad you provided us with not one exchange but quite a few! The entire AR bit was nicely handled Nj there was passion, longing, love, and comfort, great job for including every element!

Am not Bengali myself therefore have no idea about shaka polka, however I must admit that little portion was my favorite part. I happened to be a very traditional person and I find all this very heartwarming. I guess I would hold my husband's family heirloom more cherishable than a ring he might propose me with. Giving your girl your family treasure just holds more meaning in my eyes because I feel that is a true welcome for the girl in to the guy's family. I guess today giving rings/jewelry to a girlfriend have become such a norm that they have lost their true worth. You can give a ring to just anyone but a family treasure can only be given to some one special. It was like Armaan said that though he could give Lovely his name and title, he could not give her the bangles.

I had a feeling that Atul would be the first of the two to discover the connection between AR. He seemed to be the more observant than Anji during the dinner. I am glad Atul asked Anji to think of AR without being bias, it seems that she has listened but I guess we will have to wait to see how you display her expressions when Armaan finally proposes. There hasn't been much about Atul in this FF and honestly it was nice to read about him and Anji. Thanks for that Nj!

You know I was reading this update at work and can't tell you the difficulty I faced when reading the Gappu-Minz bit. It was hilarious NJ!! I succeeded in suppressing my laughter but I can assure you the silly smiles were not missed by my colleagues. Gappu's rendition of how he caught AR was just superb! I was laughing so hard in my mind that my stomach was beginning to hurt. (Suppressing a laugh is not my cup of tea; I giggle at the slightest of things!) Gappu and Minz have the chemistry I love their little squabbles. The love is clearly visible between the two yet they also share a wonderful camaraderie; which spells success for a relationship.

According to Gappu Anji-Atul have been probing him here and there about the Malik's, well at least that is a good sign!

Aww, so he got her a solitaire and is all set to propose wohoo! Loved the Riddhima wearing Indian bit, I could so picture the outfit. You know if my memory serves me right Riddhima had worn similar colors in Newtons. It was Armaan was in her house and they see each other during Anji-Atul wedding. It seems to me that you like the brown-gold combo and not just for Ridz, he he.

Now that I thinking I guess I shouldn't get too excited over the whole proposing issue, I mean how can I; Vivek has just walked in!!

Don't know what you have planned next NJ but I am eagerly waiting to read on. Once again thanks for posting despite the cast, hope you are out and about soon!!

reaaaalllly lovely update..........and it definitely made up for the long delay..................it was close to my heart ...loved Armiridz......totally and fantabulously.............truly romantic what with the first kiss and all..............loved it.

gappu is one character i wud love to meet......i wud love to add him to my FB friends list...............utterly butterly sweet as can be and a devil to the core...but he was right....he needed to give an impetus to AR ...................otherwise they wud really need an elixir to get to the next stage of their relationship...................

and atul and anjali's convo was so much like parents wud.......when they see(?) a proposal for their girl.............

loved the way armi can blow ridz a kiss...........their relationship is getting comfortable...........the way i want it to be..........

but Vivek *%$#.arghhhhh....need i say more

btw u seem to be the most accident prone person i know about.....why is it that u r always toppling over things naseem or catching one of those ever encompassing colds...........u need to be taken care of..........cant be let out of sight for long.............wonder who is upto taking care of you!!!!!!!.....lolzzzzzzzzzzzz

hey,

wonderful wonderful part! while reading it, i was sad after i finished each paragraph. Don't get me wrong, i was not sad b'coz it was bad but on the contrary i was sad b'coz it was so good. at the back of my mind there was this niggling feeling that it would end too soon and i really really didn't want it to end.😛 i savoured every word, i loved it.

I am a bengali and i can tell you about the 'sankha-pola' thingie. it is the sign of a married woman, like sindoor or mangal-sutra and it was really befitting as Riddhima has been 'married' to Armaan for a long time now!

Gappu, the prankster, is adorable. i can't believe he actually walked in on the lovey-dovey couple and they had the gall of to lie to the all knowing Gappu!! he he, serves them right!

Anyways, what's the new twist? update soon and plz plz get Rahul-Muskaan from Kolkata too. Thanx a ton for the PM.

an amazing and magical part but i just hope with vivek entering nothing bad happens and vivek gets thrown in jail after all he did run away with the money and was involved in illegal dealings.

ridz knows everything except that person's name whom muskaan loved.i hope armaan tells her and not keep it a secret. in fact chirag also knows about vivek and i hope he also supports armaan.

anji should believe armaan as i have an inkling that she has certain misgivings regarding armaan being a widower.

lets c wat happens next.

phew finally, they got their time together, to be alone, to express and feel their love! im really happy with this part nj, it definitely was a treat!
riddhimas emotions at the beginning were very well done...she was excited and nervous at the same time! this was their first actual romantic scene. even tho they have been speaking on the phone, its sooo much different face to face!
it was sweet, romantic, heartwarming and so full of emotions! all the small gestures, like the hugging, tucking away her hair, caressing her face, kisses on the cheek, wide smiles and the i love you's...it was all so intimate! there were parts that made me laugh, some brought tear to my eyes and some made me grin like a dork! lol u handled it exceptionally girl, it was the perfect first together scene for armridz!
awww they had their first kiss! that was prolly my favotie part!!!!! very passionate, and much awaited...6 years!
im havent much knowledge of bengali tradition and how the kada giving works, but i found it very romantic, and such a sweet and loving gesture on armaans part. im glad he told her the truth about his marriage, now she can move on without the insecurity!
hmmm atuls a smart guy, he suspected armaan and riddhima! but anjali is the typical concerned gaurdian, as she should be. fact is he is a widower, and for any sister that is not what she would expect for her sister/daughter. wonder how this will play out!
but what was the need to invite vivek over!!?! OMG here starts the drama!!! nj i like screamed when he realized it was vivek! and muski heard it on the phone too! crap this is not gonna be pretty! i honestly wasnt expecting this, at least not yet! but i guess the sooner armaan finds out and tells ridz the truth about him, the better! but im dying to know how armaan will react and how he'll handle the situation!
very exciting part nj, you really rocked it :D looking forward to the next one!

first of all... thnx a ton 4updating... at last...

n wot an update tht was... one of the most romantic ones i hav ever read... n thts saying something nj cuz u write the most romantic ffs in the history of dmg...

needless to say... i loved armaan and ridzis romance... the beautiful night together... and ofcourse the first kiss... the way you portrayed their feelings and apprehensions... their level of comfort... and armaans overnight possessiveness...

its absolutely pure and dreamlike... wot else can i say...

another thing i ve noticed about ur ffs... they r always a perfect blend of traditional indian customs in a foreign backdrop... y is tht i wonder... r they parhaps influenced by ur own life n upbringing... ?

ur update has truly lived up to my expectations... or shud i say its gone far beyond... u many not believe this but i have been logging in twice a day daily 2check the new part... hoping, wishing tht u will have updated it... n now tht u hav... im speechless... think im going to start praying today onwards for a lover like armaan... though of course i dont want the 6year separation...

the next part... yes pls do update soon... i hope the truth about vivek comes out at last... and armaan gets all defensive and protective about ridhima... how i luv it whn he does tht...
