Samrat's Dil Se performance was much better, though he sounded like he was screaming at times. I think he was trying to make the song 'his own' by adding with the rock touch. I dont know if it was the right song to 'experiment' though. Bin Tere Sanam is a super romantic song but if you've heard remix versions, they also have their own 'flavor'. Some sound pretty bad when compared to the original. True that Samrat did go off sur at some places but so did everyone else. Bin Tere Sanam w/the added rock variations would have sounded much better had he stayed in tune for the entire performance. It definitely wasn't his best performance.
About Sammy dedicating the song to Arunima- I think it was all preplanned before the episode was aired. These kinds of shows always try to make jodis. Sometimes its cute, sometimes it annoying. I kinda feel sorry for Arunima cos it probably was embarassing and every episode the judges and/or contestants make a joke about how everyone has a crush on her. 😕 It seems like she wants to be known as a singer, not just the pretty, hot girl with a tattoo. She's a 'complete package' and she proved that with Tujhse Naraaz. Wasn't a perfect performance but was the one of best, if not the best, from the last gala.
