In the beginning, this show seemed totally awesome. Seeing young talented people develop, listening to their beautiful voices and performances, hearing real comments about their singing from actual professionals, the occasional presence of a celebrity to brighten the show, the bond between the contestants, the gossip, the games from time to time to lighten the competitive atmosphere, the love budding (e.g. anubhav and mona), the tears upon separation, and the overall magic of the show. It was so wonderful, I was like wow, it's so nice to see such friendship and bonding surrounded my magical voices.

As the show went on, it became total crap, biased, full of politics, tricks, retardedness, hypocrits, tears, more tears, useless attempts to smile, and everything BUT singing. Absolutely NOTHING is based on singing now. You know, I still remember when my sister came upstairs to my room to tell me that Qazi was in danger for the second time, and I was so shocked, it left me wondering as to how they would deal with it if students went to the danger zone more than once like this. My shockness quadrupled when Qazi was saved by the janta again.

Everything about the show irritates me now. The way the janta keeps picking the same person dishonestly, because there are a numerous amount of times where Qazi was not the best in the zone, the pointlessness of the Ranbhoomi Round, the way Javed disgustingly showers blessings upon his favorite students and gives not a single bad comment to the other ones and places them the danger zone just because he doesn't like them, the way Javed acts so smart and wise, the way Javed made such a big issue of Shamit voting Kirti out and insulted him a repetitive number of times for it, BUT when Arijit voted Monica out, he told Ilaji that she shouldn't complain because the students have the right to vote who they want and they can't force the students to vote for a certain person (HELLO???? WHAT ABOUT SHAMIT????), the way Ila only comforts her favorite students and doesn't bother with other students who may also be disturbed, the way Ila openly insults her students just because she likes one over the other, but she tells the students that they can't say anything back to their "Gurus," the way the students talk behind each other's backs and keep twisting their words about who/what they want, the way they unfairly brought in two new not-as-well-trained students in the middle of very high competition just to get money, the way they unfairly gave only three out of the many talented old contestants a chance to re-enter FG, and to sum it up: THE WAY NOTHING IS EITHER FRIENDLY OR BASED ON SINGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, I just had to let that out. I stopped watching this show around two-three weeks ago, but I occasionally come here to see comments and opinions, and I decided to give in a few comments of mine based on the overall show. Sorry if I offended anyone. 😊

OK WOW, 75 VIEWS AND NO RESPONSES? Did I write something wrong? Can someone at least tell me if I wrote something wrong? This is related to Fame Gurukul you know.. 🤔

I seriously feel like half-retarded.. Can someone post at least post a "hi" so that I know that at least somebody realizes that I took out all this time to write this post?

Your views are totally correct if we think about a normally organized contest. But FG is a reality TV show and I saw this kind of contest for first time in Indian Television. I dont know if there are any other reality shows going on. I like the way it is going on because it reflects the real life situations. There are always politics, tricks, references, favourites in every field. There are too many good singers out there but not all of them are successful. They must do something beyond their talent to be successful. I think the FG is their first year of class in their real life school. It is just a different kind of contest which we are not used to.

I totally agree with you koolgirl88..what started as a Race for Fame and Good Music has now turned into a back stabbing and foul game with a lots of emotions going around.

With so much money and fame at stake it was bound to happen.

You are so right :)

u know one friday when the gala round was on air .. my father was like .. hain yeh log gatey bhi hain :o acha yeh log waqai ga rahey hain :o 😆 ... he was the first one in our family to get fed up with the show by the way ;)

hmm i dont know about politics and stuff .. i always thought this was bound to happen sooner or later .. they're competing for a 1 crore contract and a dream career yaar .. how can they be impartial and sincere and all that stuff

I think Indian Idol was way better than FG... not because the judges or contestants were better .. but because they didnt have *so called* hidden cameras and they didnt show what was happening in the contenstants' lives .. it focussed on singing and performance only ... yet atleast i cried more when somebody left :) ... i have cried only for Mona so far in FG

Still i guess FG is like Qazi ... ek buri aadat jo chori nahi jati 😉
