I just saw the first pian round of II. A guy called ShreeKumar sang E ajnabi from Dil Se. His facial expressions and even at times his voices resembles SHAMIT a lotttttttt. 😉

You won't believe it that i was going to start the same topic just now when i read urs.i also felt that either he was a big shamit fan and was trying to immitate shamit or he just resembles shamit but his expressions ,his body language and the way he moved his arm and also the style of his singing all resembled shamit a lot.

hez shamitz friend he was alwayz sitting in the audience in fame gurukul...one time he asked shamit who do u like more me or arijit n shamit said shree kumur i dont remember when that was but i noe it was b4 the wild card....

I wasn't impressed with his singing at all though. He does sound sort of like Shamit, but he's no Shamit talent wise.

Rex's rendition of 'E Ajnabi'(especially in the last ranbhoomi) is still the scale by which I judge all other singers who sing that song. That kid from II2 fell WAY short.
