Dedication to Rex D'souza a.k.a. Rexy
The top 14 of the Fame Gurukul had many talented singers and performers as well as good ppl.
But today we are recognizing our very own, ever smiling, winner in our hearts, Rex D'souza from Mumbai.
He also had dreams of being in the fame jodi and earning fame fortune and fans.
He was a very fun loving, honest, warm hearted, and bindaas kinda guy.
He came from a middle class family. His family supported him all the way. His mom was there for his every performance!!! He lives with his mom, dad, 2 younger sisters, and his grandma. Their family had been thru alot of trouble. His dad's business partner betrayed him and they lost everthing.. their 4 bedroom flat, their cars, evertthingg. They even had to spend 5 years in the train, because they had no home. Rex belivs that since ther is so much suffering in the world, its best to smile always!!
The most appealing thing about Rex is his smile. It is a very mysterious, yet cute, but a little naughty smile. Sumtimes he smiles sticking out his tounge.
Sometimes he flashes that cute pleasant innocent smile minus the mischeviousness in it.
Sometimes he has this naughty kinda smile kinda mysterious but very cute.
And most of the times he just lets it all out and laughs laughs and laughs at almost anythingg.
Another wonderful thing about Rex is how loveable and adorable he is. Hes probably the only person who gets the most luv, from faculty, evn the choreographer, judges, his frnds, the junta, his family.
His first performance he sang "Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe". The judges luved his performance but said he needed to watch his sur.
But later he improved so much he was known as the best combo of both sur and performance. Whenever he performed, he always had a ton of energy and everyone felt his song through their hearts. He sung his slow songs with so much feelings and the fast songs with so much masti.
But one day he got eliminated since Qazi got juntas luv as always and Arjit was a better singer than him since he was trained. But luck was with him so he gotta another chance along with Mona and Kirti. All he needed the juntas love to b bak in the gurukul.
Finally the day has come- Rex is the one who gets the most votes!!! But Rex is selfless guy so he is mor sad for Mona and Kirti.
Then he just gives everything he got and performs sooo well in each and every gala. After coming bak, a certain spirit of winning came into him and he was on fire!! He evn got top student twice after coming bak!
But then again since the competition was so tough, top 4. He, Arprita, and Qazi wer in the danger zone.
But I guess god was watching over him and gave him yet another chance. Both Qazi n Ruprekha brought both Arprita nd Rex bak!
So then ther were four. Rex was one of the top four best singers in India.
He gave it his best shot in the gala.
His very supportive family baking him up in every performance of his.
A very interesting thing was his chemistry with Ruprekha. His very romantic relationship with Ruprekha. It seemed like they loved each other, the way he teased her and the way she got shy. But both denied the love and called each other just frnds or siblings.
But nothin is forever and his kinda started losing his junt lil bit, because of little reasons. Like being frnds with the not-very-liked Arprita
And telling Qazi hes not that good singer (evn tho everyone else did that too).
And then the top 4 was down to top 3. Ruprekha, Qazi, and Rex wer the lucky ones.
Soo it was either Qazi and Ruprekha's cute-innocent jodi.
Rex and Ruprekha's cute-romantic jodi.
Or Rex and Qazis bindas-masti jodi.
It was a very hard decision for the junta...Ruprekha was the best singer, Qazi the best performer, and Rex the best mix of both.
But in the end.. the junta picked Ruprekha nd Qazi as their jodi...
But one thing that Rex said was very good. Atleast evn if Rupu n Qazi win, atleast after them in fame gurukul its him that theyre going to remember..
He said that he cant forget all the help and support he got frm his faculty.
Qazi really wanted to be jodi with Rex, that's why evn tho hes supposed to hug his jodi he hugged Rex instead. Rex also loved Qazi. He wrote a sweet note to him saying that he wants Qazi to be with him.
But as he said, getting this far in the competition.. no one is a loser. And even though he didnt win, he got a 2 year contract with Sony adn he is going to tour around India and abroad. I hope the best and only the best for him!! Evn tho he didnt win fame jodi, I hope he gets evn more popular than them. Good luck REx!! I will miss you and always love you!!
