I'd like to state that I am not a Qazi hater. Infact, I feel Qazi is a tremendous guy as far spirit and attitude is concerned. I haven't seen a negative quote come out of his mouth against his fellow contestants except when they had the court room debate. And this puts him high on my list of genuine good men.

Herein, what I am stressing on are his singing abilities, which are minimal to the core. Everyone admits this. You can't hide or shout-down this facet. One has too look beyond the smoke screen.

Sometimes we see the tree but fail to notice the forest.

And the hype that genrated around him as a Hrithik lookalike and Qazi' own admission to try and be the next Hrithik is "one of the reasons" for the public adulation. I stress just "one of the reasons".

Further prooof Qazi himself has said he would replace Hrithik rather than sing playback for him. He has to some extent ridden piggy back on his similar look.
