Comments about 7th Oct Gala (NRIs)

So, for us NRIs -

What are your comments/opinions on the 7th October gala?

Here's mine:

Solo performances

Arpita - Um, to tell you the truth, I didn't hear the song she sang before, so I have no idea what the sur was supposed to be etc. However, I didn't really like what I heard. It was okay, but nothing great.

Ruprekha - Man, I totally loved it today. It was not the type of song I would expect Ruprekha to sing, but she carried it off wonderfully. Her sur was right on spot - I loved the way she carried the high notes.

Qazi - To tell you the truth, I didn't really like it today. I loved his performance - he suited the song perfectly, but I didn't like his voice.

Rex - Very close fight with Ruprekha. As always, it was wonderful - I always enjoy his performances.


Group performances

Rex and Ruprekha - Hawwwww, sho shweet. I loved it completely, they both performed well and sang beautifully. The aadayein "Rupu Darling" put into the song was just wonderful. Their chemistry is so striking - man, I really think they make a wonderful couple.

Qazi, Arpita and Ruprekha - God, Qazi like totally shocked me. When he sang the first notes, I thought, "Where did he pull that voice from?" He sang it soooo good, man - the song totally suited him, and he was really working the gangster image. He was breathtaking. I can't comment on Ruprekha and Arpita separately because they sang together, but on their duet - it was wonderful. I'll admit, I was concentrating more on Qazi, but I did honestly take the time to listen to them - and they were wonderful.

All Four - Amazing, simply amazing! It was really nice to see all of them up there and singing to their heart's content. I really enjoyed it.


The guest performances

Harry Anand - Well, I love how he remixes, and it was nice seeing him up there too!

Sophie - She was good too - great energy, and the stage burst when the four joined her.


Celebrity judges

Wonderful choices! They were both looking good today, but I have to say Shreya looked breath-taking.


Other items of interest

- "Yeh bhai bhen lagte hai... par ek dusre ke nahin." What a classic, yaar! I cracked up completely.

- Shreya said she voted for Qazi once. That was so nice, I was all "Awww!"

- Who's that American guy sitting by Qazi's brother?😕

- That little girl they kept showing in the audience who was dancing was soooo cute!

- Javed looked fabulous sitting between two gorgeous ladies! LOL!

- When Qazi said, "I take everything as a challenge", I started clapping. Lol. I don't know, I love his spirit.

I liked RR performence. She sings like a koyal anyways. Arpita and Rex were okay. Qazi did bad in Ik pal ka jina, but he sang nicely in saki song.
I hated mandira's outfit in it

Oh, right, I forgot to add that ^. I hated Mandira's outfit too. Totally didn't suit her 🤢

I also feel like that Qazi is meant for remix songs. Most of the market right now is about remix songs, so why not?

since I know the next week's result too, i am not gonna be loosing my sleep over this. it's about time that FG will be done

YEAH, I AGREE RASMI QAZI'S PERFORMANCE AND SINGING IN SAKI SAKI WAS GGGGGRRRRRRRR888. IT SOUNDED SO MUCH DIFFERENT AND I LIKE IT THIS WAY BETTER THAN HIS SOLO PERFORMANCE. IF HE HAD PERFORMED LIKE THAT IN HIS SOLO, HE COULD HAVE BEEN THE CHOICE FOR SAFE CONTESTANT.

That's what I thought too. He should sing like that and he will will reach at the top
