Is it just a singing competition?

For all those who think FG is just a competition to select the best singing jodi, think again:

- Why is this program on television, it should be on some radio FM channel

- Why does the contestents have to perform on stage, they should sing in a recording room or a studio

- Why does the judges and faculty talk about audience interaction

So in my opinion fame jodi should not just be good singers but also good performers, that means complete package... and I see that potential in all provided they spend one more year learning both singing and performing before they are introduced in the market (commercially).

agree but rup. rex arp. prash. padma etc. n even javed dont think this bcoz ruprekha still closes eyes while singing.

& its also a reality show. if it wud be only a singing compitition then there wil be no difference bet indian idol & FG. here they show how they spend thir lives. so ultimately all things such as their lifestyle, attitude, etc. have great impacts. and ppl r watching all these things & they r also observing all of them & i think all want a singer/performer who is also a nice human being. but i dont think every1 has the quality there. and another thing as sonia said that singing can be improved but its very difficult to be a good & honest human being. so ppl wont be interested in such ppl who has very good knowledge but as human being s/he is not up to the mark.

This is not a singing competetion. Just a time pass show with no real talent. Pure 100% timepass. I wonder why people are wasting money on sms.
