Hey, i think more people <3 this show now... cause i noticed some of my friends were watching it regularly for past couple of week... GOOD RIGHT?👏

Oh, and also i'm really thankful of khota_sikka_sri user person for posting the TRP ratings... THANKS A TON :)

Another good thing is that the TRPs are significantly better than before. I remember that around Sept-Oct 2011, the TRPs would be around 0.8-0.9. I may be wrong though 😕

Compared to that, 1.3-1.4 is excellent. It's good to see a show going steady or even improving itself after so many years of being on air. 👏

Am I right in thinking that FIR is the oldest show on Sab TV, which is currently on air?

Actually I think Tarak is the oldest show on Sab TV.

As for TRP. I can post older TRPs as well and we'll see what it is like. I'll do that later today.

Actually I just checked. FIR is about 2 years older than Tarak Mehta. FIR started back in July 2006, and TMKOC in July-August 2008. Tarak Mehta has more episodes than FIR because it started off with 4 days a week, then went to five. I remember FIR used to come only twice a week when I started watching it, and then it progressed to 4 days then five about a year ago.

So, FIR's completed more than five and a half years on TV. Very few shows get to live that long.

That is amazing. Thanks for the info. I thought FIR started in 2008, but I guess I was wrong. I now remember that time when it used to come twice a week. I didn't watch too many episodes at that time.

You know they might be planning on making this 4-days a week too. Aamir will be married soon. Kavita has already asked (and received) concessions on lesser shooting time for her.

But I'm glad this is getting high TRPs.
