What Veera should have done

This whole track is so stupid. If Veera truly wanted to both do what's best for the pind whilst not hurting Baldev, she would have found a way. I'm sorry but Veera is being quite the b**ch. There are so many other ways she could have handled this situation and she chose to go with the most inconsiderate and power-hungry move.

One possible way: she should have given Baldev an ultimatum. For example, if he doesn't get a school built on that land, she would run for sarpanch against him. That way, Baldev gets to fulfill his dream of becoming sarpanch, and Veera gets her school.

Another way: Veera's smart and can be manipulative when she wants to be. She should have let Baldev become sarpanch and THEN manipulate him so he's only a figurehead (no real power). I mean, I'm sure the wife of a sarpanch can be pretty powerful too, especially when the sarpanch is as clueless as Baldev. She could then make the decisions and convince Baldev behind-the-scenes to enact those things.

And what is up with Veera's beeji ENCOURAGING Veera to run against her own husband?? This is not at all how to handle a marital conflict like a reasonable person.

I'll be the first to say that even as a feminist, if I was in Veera's place, I would never even think of running against my own husband whose dream it is to become sarpanch. It's just mean. It's akin to to getting romantically involved with your best female friend's crush/dream guy. You don't do it if you truly love them.

Veera thinks she's hot stuff coming in here and all of a sudden running for sarpanch herself. I think in a marriage, your spouse's dreams and ambitions should become your dreams and ambitions. This is just so mean of Veera. I've lost all respect for her.

Thank you FXBesharamz for appreciating my post! I absolutely agree that Veera shows a very alarming lack of trust in Baldev. Their premarital relationship was good fun, but their marriage has thus far been far from ideal. I very rarely post on this forum since I barely watch the show anymore, but I happened to catch an episode the other day and I was so mad at Veera and the whole track that I had to vent somewhere!

I get frustrated everytime I see her acting like the bechari and playing the victim card. How the eff does she expect baldev to be all lovey Dovey with her when she couldn't support him in with his dream. Seriously if my other half did that to me it would break my heart, but yet veera still is presented as she is right and the cvs try justify her behaviour. The show has lost the plot and I just can't stand veera for for her selfish behaviour

I'm sorry to hear about that you had to go through a similar experience. I agree it disgusting when your loved ones stand against you instead of supporting you. He has always stood by her side and supported her work for the poly house and the trip to Poland, yet she always seems to get credit for it.
Veera expects baldev to cooperate with her at home,but can I ask why she couldn't do that when he was asking her to support him.
Yesterday she was praising his speach, if his speach was that good then why the hell are you not stood by his side supporting him, but instead standing against him to defeat him.
And don't get me started on the stupid advice ratan was giving her, "be patient veera you are doing the right thing and baldev will understand you eventually blah blah"
If baldev is gonna understand veera at the end of this then why not advise veera to support him with being a sarpanch and help him grow as good leader, because according to ratan baldev is hot tempered but eventually gives in and understands veeras perspective. So why couldn't she be a little oatient and support her husband and eventuslly he would have done what they had wanted.

Arrrghhh I'm doing it again lol I don't even know if the above makes sense but it really pisses me off with what veera is doing!

Seriously, Veera would be so much more tolerable if she stopped with her bechari act.🥱 That is completely against her nature!

Even while Baldev was suffering from PTSD she just acted as the bechari who was bearing Baldev's horrible behaviour (and I am not excusing him for it) in front of Balwant! She never even thought to mention to him that her lack of trust in Baldev triggered the PTSD. Though I am sure that the worst father of the Century, Balwant, still wouldn't have thought that Veera did anything wrong.🤪

The entire SS family are so contradictory. They preach one thing and turn back on it in the very next minute.🥱

this forum truly hates the serial namesake character Veera.

Veera and her family are complete hypocrites and that is why they are hated so much. Every member has done so many stupid things it is too time consuming to list them. A small example is

1. Ratan- I cant decide what to do as sarpaunch because it will create problems for my kids BUT I can actively encourage my daughter to stand against her hubby because that wont create a problem.

2. Veera said lets keep personal/professional life separate but when baldev said this to her after ratan quit as sarpaunch veera then said you didn't defend my mother- thus mixing professional/personal life.

3. Ranvi- baldev is not capable, Irresponsible, lacks experience, makes decisions in haste, hot headed- advice to veera, stand against your husband, your marriage will be fine.

Unfortunately the chance of veera and baldev teaming up is now impossible, especially since mahan veerji who can never lie is a liar and baldev will use this to his advantage.

This must to the only show where even though baldevs mall idea and way of doing things isn't great we want him to win just because the opposition are sooo irritating.
