I wasn't expecting any continuation cuz the wreath scene is supposed to be that way as it symbolizes that Veera's feelings wont reach Baldev too soon. If it was shown that Baldev takes the wreath, the scene wouldn't have made sense at this point of their story! This is supposed to be a symbolism!
