Confused!!

was a one night stand out of some sympathy towards her if am not wrong! as if der was no other way to feel / share her sorrow.

one night stand out of sympathy?...i dont see any logic behind it..cn someone plz give a little detail abt wht happened

she was supposed to get married to kartar but on her marriage day she ran away causing embarrassment to kartar and her own parents...samporan met her accidentally and on recognizing who she is got mad at her and told her off...basically said all sorts of stuff to her calling her nasty names and all...she in turn told him that she was sick and about to die hence she ran away to save kartar from the grief in the coming days...so they got talking and samporan got carried away in his guilt and sympathy for her when she repeatedly said how sad she was to die without being a suhagan...
