Rana - Puppet or Puppeteer?

I usually don't write on this forum but could not stop myself today.

The show started off pretty decently but has slid downhill at an accelerating pace. The male lead, Ranaji, seems to have not an iota of common sense let alone the elan and sharpness required to rule a kingdom. He comes across as a dummy king, used as a puppet, first by his mother then by his step grandmother. The man has not learned, you do not nurture a snake close to your bosom, it will strike again and again. Once bitten, twice shy, but he has been bitten a couple of times yet allows Badi Ma to dictate his actions. Marrying Rageshwari was nonsensical, treating Gayatri badly was appalling. This latest in his string of trespasss against his wife, the rightful queen is despicable. He appears a mere puppet at the hands of Badi Ma and now Rageshwari.

So, in an effort to infuse him with some much needed spirit and chanakya's raj neethi tactics, I am indulging in a far fetched flight of fancy. What if Rana has turned puppeteer from puppet? When Rana walked in the squelchy mud near the river bank, did the dirt have some magical power and rid him of his intoxicated hosh? Does he pretend to be in the clutches of the vashikaran mantra to catch Rageshwari red-handed? Was him making Gayatri drink that dirty mud an effort to rid the poison from her body? Did he do that to surreptitiously make sure she took that antidote while making it seem he was still enraptured by the vicious Rageshwari?

I told you this is just a flight of fancy and if I did not kid myself into believing this reason behind Rana's behavior, I could not have tolerated watching Gayatri being belittled and disrespected all over again. The epi was pukeworthy. And as someone posted, I do fondly hope that Gayatri lands Rana several kicks in his shin. Sorry if I have offended anyone.

Ranaji is a victim of lazy thinking by writers, who robbed him of his brains & spine to glorify villains and create irrelevant characters.

I think, it's to the actor's credit people suspect whether Ranaji is playing a game or not. IMO, he is not. This character is destroyed.

People who still watch can let their imagination run & try to make sense out of this non-sense.

Ranas character has been destroyed along with every other character to accomodate one person on screen.
This usnt fetching trp and doing the idiotic writers a favour either. I wonder if they themselves can sit through an episode.

Rana is a character created by no creativity, egoistic, brainless, shittiest writers. They have spoiled all characters. It is their show as they like to call it and no amount of protest and critism will change them.
They only believe in money and for that they are chasing TRP. BUT BUT BUT in that process they have turned a classy show into a C grade show with vulgarity, brainless and shittiest tracks.

The only thing audience can do is to use the remote and bring down TRPS. Even then their brains will not work because I do not believe they have it in them to be good writers and CREATIVES. They are capable of RECYCLING their own trash and someone else's.
They will close down their show but will not BE ABLE to produce originality.

I am sincerely questioning their abilities.

Just feel sorry for all actors associated with this trash. Or maybe they do not care as long as they are making the money...who knows

Thats a very good prediction and the only way out to redeem Ranaji or else his character is already dead now .. by being a puppet to Rags , its like last nail in coffin .. so the only way to come out of this coffin is by showing Ranaji faking it all to catch Rags red handed and also like u said he made Gayatri drink that dirty water so that she gets rid of the poison in her body ..

But then question is how Ranaji knows whats happening to him or what happened to Gayatri to fake it all 🤔.. When he is in that hypnotised state , he knows nothing and then even if I assume he is out of that state after going in that mud place and is now faking it , still question is how he knows what happened to him earlier to catch Rags red handed because apparently he never remembers anything when he is out of that hypnotised state 😕

Don't expect that rana to be that much smart to do all these things. He is such a dumb, brainless, spineless male lead character that had been ever created on Indian TV.All the fans are still hoping him to turn smart because he is handsome like gayatri.Let me remaind that for any person inner beauty is more important than outer appearance.Cvs will definitely show rana romancing with rags and they will consummate their relation and she will be giving the first heir to rana as he already promised her

Sorry to oppose your opinion.Rana is very very ... weak and he is always be a puppet in one or others hands. He cannot be puppeteer at any time.don't expect anything good and constructive from this stupid dumb rana.He is a waste candidate on this show
