See I can understand if Gayatri feels unesay because RNJ is in trouble. Yes there is a sixth sense and many times when our dear and near ones are not well or in some trouble we too feel. Most of us here would have felt that uneasiness one way or the other atleast once in their life.
But what I didn't like was linking Pooja ki thal girna, breaking of picture etc.. as bad omen. The shows should not encourage such things. Ours is a land of superstitions. There are girls who are denied marriage because they were born under some inauspicious star, there are girls whose life is made hell if something bad happens in her sasural immediately after marriage.
Then seeing a dog, cat crossing( I don't know) again is bad omen, calling back bad omen, keeping broom upside down bad omen to you have n number of things which are treated bad omen. Instead of stopping such propagations, if shows give undue attention to such things well I don't like it to be frank.
if she had told my mind is uneasy, something distracting me and I am doing so many mistakes that pooja thal slipped from my hand or pic broke that was still understandable and more rational. A girl who told her destiny does not lie in the stars believing in such absurd things looks out of place.

I will agree with u completely, but I have noticed this kind of signs are common in daily soap. Even today's time based shows also use this kind of signs to sense a upcoming trouble , it's a 1940 based show so I m not minding much as those times this things are very common

That was really disappointing to show danger this way. I hope they take care these silly things which they did when Gayatri n Ranaji were getting married n lash out superstitious belief.

@snow_angel my problem is that those things are not inline with Gayatri's personality. She is a rational girl who decided to challenge her destiny. So from that kind of a woman such a thing coming looks out of character.
I know such things happen in daily soaps. But crying bucket bahu who is ever praying in front of God mujhe bachao, it is fine.

Shruthi, agree with you about the ill effects of blind superstitions.

I'm also very big on intuition and believe your outer world reflects your inner world.

Gayathri could sense something going wrong and it was reinforced by the signs from her external world. For her, pooja ki thali & her wedding pic are symbols of the foundation of her life. When they rocked, they fell & broke, as it was happening out in the forest.

If we try to piece the signs more logically it's not bad.

i quite liked they showed RNJ bleeding from his forehead, it was like waht G saw when she hurt her finger and her blood fell on his forehead in the pic. It was more premonition, not superstition.

P.S- I read in one of your posts about Secret, that's why i attempted to explain here, otherwise i wouldn't have bothered.😆
I've read stuff on Shamanism and they are all about linking the outer & inner worlds thr signs.

@simran thanks for pointing it out the finer details. Yes maybe with a little effort you and me can understand it as premonition and not superstition. But what I said is if they made her tell it ( I mean dialogues ) a little more logically, larger crowd too would have understood it as premonition and not superstition. The dialogues looked as if she is superstious. That's my problem
Yes I have read all the 3 books, Secret, Power and Magic. And I would say Magic is the best, because it really gives some tips to harness the rules of Power and Secret. I mean practical tips.

I've read them too. I like books by Shakti Gawain ,Esther Hicks and Jane Roberts.Have you read any of these guys?

They go deep into the law of attraction philosophy. Shakti not so much. Rhonda's books are a rip off the works of Jane & Esther. She only gives tools, doesn't give the rationale behind it.

No Simran. Thanks for the suggestion. I will try. Yes I had also felt Rhonda's books gives tools not the rationale, but you don't have to far to get rationale. Our own Mahabharat and Ramayan both are full of rationals only, if we try to spend some real time with them.
Actually in a way Star MB was a boon for me. There were lot of problems I had with it, but one good thing I had to give them was the way they presented Krishna and his views. It was really thought provoking in a practical way.
And now I am watching SKR. Yaa there are problems but again I am loving the way they are presenting Ram and Sita. Emphatetic at the same time rational, giving really a solid perspective to our long loved mythology

I'm planning to watch SKR sometime. I kind of watch only one show obsessively and ATM it's ETR.

Esther's videos are available on youtube, she's a delight to listen.
