@Bold, yes, her answers were logical and rest of things she compromises on are to ensure the survival of the show which means also people related to the show not losing their jobs!

While I am going with the flow with the RAGA relationship, I do wonder where is his conscience, his mother, RM? Then I remembered when BRM is around, Ranaji is more or less with her, more than his mom, unless RM throws a tantrum, for eg: all the instances of the wedding. He is closer to BRM than his own mother. Note how his expression changes when BRM enters the room, all smiles, totally opposite to what feels inside. RM has a handle on what affects him, but their relationship is fraught with too much baggage.

So nilanjana answered//countered a few questions, problem is most DD fans ask her questions, noone has asked her anything to do with Rana😆

A quick paraphrasing, whatever I remember:

Qt: Why can't G divorce Ranaji?

N: There was no divorce in those days. Logical path would be that she lives a lonely life, dies alone?

Qt: Why can't she find a new king?

N: She is 27, married, unrefined, how many Kings can her father buy???!!

Qt:Why cannot she become a freedom fighter, make us happy, and her parents happy?

N: Then Drashti and me would be out of a job in two weeks.

Qt: A man should'nt a woman, she is weaker.

N: No questions were raised when G slapped Ranaji. I was even told its ok if Sula is slapped?

QT: Where is the novelty?

N: All stories in the world come from 7 basic stories.

Qt: You should be ashamed

N: I provide entertainment, my job to see that 200 people don't lose their jobs if the serial does badly. My personal ideologies are personal to me.

QT: How dare Ranaji make her a servant?
