RNJ and RM are the two characters that pulled me into watching the show. I had not seen quite anyone like RM on desi TV and RNJ was a class apart too! He is righteous without being self righteous and is honest to a fault! Unlike in most desi soaps, here is an ML who actually has something to do in the show apart from acting as a cheerleader for the FL.

After showing RNJ being ready to jump G's bones two days ago, if they show RNJ forgetting her existence in his joy over the resurrection of Sona, that would destroy the very reason why I even bothered with this soap. His character has so far not been vilified on this show. But I fear the worst hit with this track would be RNJ. For the sake of drama, they may turn him into all kinds of a fool. G will turn into this superwoman who will save the King and his kingdom from the clutches of evil! I don't like supermen and I don't like superwomen.

RNJ's vilification is as important as bigamy in terms of the reasons why I cannot bear to watch this track...! I will maybe come back and pretend none of this happened, like Sim said. Or maybe this track will run for so long that I will lose interest in RNJ or the show and not bother ever after.

Either way, I don't think I will be making any more analysis posts for some time to come. Maybe rant and rave a bit once in way in case there are friends who still stick around. But just like Shweta cannot bear a Sona based collage, I cannot bear to see a screwed up RNJ!

Why did it have to come to this?

If we look at the history of desi soaps, there is no escaping these ugly twists...There are only two ways a soap can go..

1. Have a triangle after establishing a good love story that gets them good trps fo months..

2. Start a triangle to grab eyeballs if you don't have good trps..

Either way, they end up in a triangle...and from there they go straight out of the window...just read TSM is going off air too...

See that...all the shows that started with amazing concept...they all have to take this route. Not even talking about DABH! 🤢

By that rule, I am glad this is coming now, and not later on when I am more emotionally invested in the show..Thank U trps for speeding up what was inevitable.

I know its inevitable Chick but why does it come to this?

Bride swapping, Groom swapping, bigamy...why such nonsensical tracks. I watched TSM till they brought in the groom swap and I quit. Even the lead actor quit because he couldn't relate to the story anymore. Now how many actors do that?

Everyone puts in a lot of effort in the daily shows but some of the tracks are so regressive, i fail to understand is there no other creative way of telling stories?

Which means she always had a story to tell...beyond the fbs...she describes her character in so much detail...😲 Even in the sbs she was saying that whether she will sacrifice her husband or fight for him has to be seen..

I have a bad feeling she's here to stay for long time. Today will be the last time I will savour the episode. From tomorrow based on wu will either watch or skip depending on how they showcase RNJ character

That is something I fear as well...objectification and dumbing down of MLs to glorify the FLs is way too common on ITV! Even though I majorly watch the show for DD, I'd hate to see Sid's character disintegrate rapidly...the warning signs are already there. Sigh!

ps: Have you followed Ek Hasina Thi on SP? The matriarch on that show is so akin to RM. You'll probably love her even more, I guess.
