This song when played in the epi was all about Gayatri singing it..and RNJ fulfilling her wishes in her absence...as she lay unconscious...

Your vm...I had to watch it thrice...still not sure if I caught the essence...G lying there like that...makes me feel so sad, and RNJ adds to the melancholy.

But the way you have combined the scenes...

It feels ENTIRELY like RNJ's journey- Gayatri is just in the periphery...she is almost like the spirit he feels..so celestial.

There are so many ways to read the story here, perhaps...there is one moment when he leaves her alone and we see only her body, left all alone in the room...before she wakes up- she looks so dead...everything in the blue saree is a dream. That version is very sad...and I know you didn't mean it like that...😳..it is just that the song is so sad.

Probably how RNJ should be waking up to his feelings. Slowly, it starts dawning on him...as he ties the dori, he remembers how intimate were those moments they had spent together...he cannot be in denial any more..so he tries to run away from himself. Even here, G is angelic- he cannot resist her.

In the epi, I am guessing RNJ will just feel some superficial pull...see how G is getting affected by his proximity...and leaves because he can never give her what she wants...so he thinks.
