I don't know what to say. There was a lot emotions going on with Ranaji today but because of the initial motive I just got too sad to decode them 😆 and you did just that I totally agree with you on his jealousy and somewhat disappointed that probably his perception about her was true though he had hoped that somehow he was wronged or he was beginning to somehow believe her innocence before this fine letter came.

Gayatri slap was very much appropriate irrespective of the era such disgraceful act towards ones wife deserved at least two slaps left and right. Thank God I never belong to any of those era cause he knows I would not be able to survive😳 To me husband and wife relation should not be of high or low status 😕 but of respect and love and submission to each other.

Having said that the episode was amazing and both leads did awesome for the first time I could relate to both of them very well all emotions and acting was wonderful. 😊

He was going though lots of mixed and confusing emotions for sure 😆😆 .. he wanted to hate Gayatri for whatever she did but at the same time he was disappointed too that his Queen wronged him 😉 .. Disappointment comes when u start budiling hopes or expectations from someone .. so does that mean Ranaji has expectations from his Queen now which he dont want to admit 😛

I agree about husband and wife relation .. it should b build purely on love , respect and trust on each other .. the day all 3 comes in their relation , noone will b able to create any differences between them 😳

And yes today I could relate to both as well .. can understand what both went through .. it was a well scripted episode 👏

Call me blur but until today's episode, i didn't understand what idea was Wilkinson trying to feed into Rana's head about Gayatri coming to meet him. When Rana is already disliking Gayatri and thinks that she is doing all she can to be a Queen, Wilkinson's story eventually makes him more angry with Gayatri. Jungle main ek Sheer aur ek Sheerni. That's what we got to see today especially when Gayatri slapped Rana for what he said 😲👏 Not only that, when Rana said how could she slap a king, she replied how can he make such allegations against the Queen 👏

I think Wilkinson meant they had a good time together .. like she entertained him .. not exactly sleeping but flirting and dancing etc etc .. at least thats what Ranaji assumed I guess 😕

Whats bit surprising here is when Ranaji already thinks Gayatri can do anything for Queen's status , then this Wilkinson's story should not hv come as a shocker for him ..but he was not only shocked and angry but was disappointed too as if his lover betrayed him when we know well that he dont even consider Gayatri his wife , forget about being a lover 😆... so does that mean in his subconscious mind he is already falling for her ? 😳

Loved the Raja-Rani war of words especially the part where he roars saying I m the king and in return she too roars back saying I m the Queen too ...😆

OMG .. I loved yesterdays episode and bang on performances by our lrads. I dont know why some ppl complain about Siddanths acting. He is a fab actor.. I loved the way he ppotrayed a range of emotions yesterday.. Loved his seductive looks .. and the way he looked at Gayatri.. He totally looked a die hard romantic...
And yes as you say.. he definitely has powerful emotions for Gayatri be it hate or possessiveness.. or anger.. And may be even he does not realise it.. somewhere Gayatri has stated making a place in his heart. He is no more thinking about his Sona.. but Gayatri has occupied his mind now...Possessiveness is first sign of love.. So even though denial is there .. his subconcious mind has accepted GAYATRI AS HIS WIFE . As if he can do anything with her .. as she is his wife but does not want to give the same rights to Gayatri..How ironic that is.. Gayatri slapped him.. and her emotions herr age was so apt she just did not think that how can I slap him.. He is my husband.. now econd time before blaming Gayatri for anything..Ranaji will think twice . That slap will be enough to remind him..that he has to respect his Queen.. and trust her as wel.. Ranaji came out very cheap in fact thinking so low bout Gayatri.. ..
But good job by CVS.. good execution and good direction... loved all scenes.. superb acting by leads.. Kudos..excited to see the upcoming Nok-Jhoks...

Awesome review Jyoti, Gayatri proves that she is not weak and her slap said it all, she stood up for her self-respect. Ranaji says that he does not accept her as his wife then why is he questioning her, may be he is attracted to her but does not accept it on the pretense of being loyal to his Sona.

And yup it was a mix of jealousy and also possessiveness for his Rani that he feels as a king 😳

looks like this week we r in for a treat 😃

seems we are in for a bit bumpy ride now 😛

I won't condone Ranaji's words and actions yesterday. But how did the slap take Rani Gayatri Devi's or Gayatri's case any further?

The slap didn't prove that she was innocent. She did not even proffer the actual truth about paying off the tax with her jewellery. Nor did she offer to show proof of it. (Did she collect a receipt for it from Wilkinson whom she refers to as a thief? She is a businessman's daughter and I hope that she did obtain a receipt!)

The slap didn't stop Ranaji from continuing in his line of thought, words and actions yesterday. In fact, he asked her to stay away from him and the palace! So, what did the slap achieve?

If Ranaji comes to a realisation of the truth, it will be because of the truth and not because of the slap. So, I would have preferred that the makers had not shown the slap-fest. What purpose did it serve?

Perhaps, it may be possible to condone the slap as a visceral reaction to Ranaji's conduct but Rani Gayatri Devi still has to master the art of making Ranaji listen to her. But, the problem is that Ranaji doesn't seem to be a person who is willing to listen to someone whom is prejudiced against. And, to be honest, that's most of us!

I have to admit that, from now on, I would prefer a quiet, dignified Rani Gayatri Devi who, through her conduct, will prove herself. But, I am likely to be let down, amn't I? This lady is going to bounce back, isn't she?

Ranaji's male ego is hurt on hearing Wilkinson's remarks on his wife settled his debts or tax which he was unable to so far. He was not only hurt because she cleared his tax amount now but also because she was the reason for the clearance of his debts to the Setji (Govind ji wrote off their debt for his daughter's marriage with Ranaji). If not for her alliance, he would have to have agreed to British proposal to sales agreement. She was the reason for his victory over Wilkinson as she held her head high (as an Indian) in front of an English man and stood erect during her crown ceremony. Every time it was she who is keeping his head high and not allowing it drop in front of the British. Added to that the current claim of Wilkinson is like a dagger to his soul as the woman whom he rejected and has not given any space in his life has gone ahead to save his throne is really hard to digest. Added to that it was not unknown ion those days that many kings who could not pay back their debts used to send beautiful woman to the money lender or the opposition party get that nullified. If Gyathri has done that to compensate the tax amount, then it is an insult to the king and not to the husband. Here Wilkinson not only aimed to insult the king but also the queen as he has succeeded in making the king / husband believe that his wife went to him. And it was believed that a payal can fall down only on 2 occasions such as when a lady in too engrossed in dancing (mujra chakkar) or when she is involved in physical action with a male and unfortunately both are to please the male and how can a man not take it to heart.

(Moreover in those days it was commonly heard that the rejected woman will find solace in some other male to satisfy her hunger. And how can a king accept that his wife whether he give her that right or not, can go to someone else to satisfy her needs?)
Ranaji could not openly tell her that you would have indulged in with Wilkinson but told her that if you could dance in front of him (which is well known that after dance what happens next) and got a reply in fierce form but I think he was not angry for the slap ( as I think he would have rejoiced it) as that shows she was not involved in any such action but he could not accept the fact that she had been to Wilkinson and what she would have done to get the tax waived off?
He is pissed off on himself for not in a position to take care of his debts, taxes while he needs to wait for some one to do that part for him. He thinks he is indirectly responsible for Gayathri to venture to that route and he can't openly tell that and that is one reason he is trying to find fault in her and keep her away from this trouble.
