Part 1
Its morning. Swarnlekha calls out to Ranaji. He asks the matter. Swarnlekha says sorry called you. Ranaji says its alright. You are like my younger sister. Suddenly, Kokila says the repute of the royal family has fallen to kadoo (pumpkin, i guess). Kunwarji asks what. Kokila says yes, new Queen has made kadoo for us. Ranaji asks Swarnlekha to continue what she wanted to say. She says i am missing my maika. Ranaji asks if she wants to go to her maika. Swarnlekha says just wanna refresh my memories. She says my sis has put a great tree in my maika, i wanna plant the same tree here so i can sit in its shade and remember my maika. Ranaji reminds her that it takes time for the seed to be come a tree. Swarnlekha says yes. Thats what i wanna tell you. It takes time for the seed to become tree. It will take time for Gayatri to become Rani Gayatri Devi. Am talking from my own experience. Swarnlekha says it takes time for a girl to become a wife and it takes even longer time for her to become a QUEEN. Swarnlekha says am younger to you, am giving you advice. Sorry. But keep patience. All will be well. Ranaji asks if she will take the responsibility of this plant seed. Swarnlekha says sure. Suddenly Ranaji notices bruise on Swarnlekhas forehead. Asks her the matter. Flashback shown of Lakshya pushing her while she tried to stop him from drinking and her getting hurt. Swarnlekha covers up saying slipped. Ranaji asks her to take care of herself and assures that he is there for her. He leaves. Swarnlekha rues that there is so much he doesnt even know.
Gayatri is pacing in her room and rues that Maa will be very upset to know that i disappointed everyone in my in laws place on my 1st day itself. Created such a big scene. She rues that Ranaji walked off empty stomach. She rues that it is her mistake so she needs to repent. She rues that she hasnt eaten either. Suddenly talks about how she should be more worried about Ranaji. Swarnlekha comes and says you need to be more careful. Gayatris brothers are waiting to meet her with Shagun. They ask the guard if he has informed that they have come. The guard doesnt answer. Few other traders are seen walking past the corridor and Gayatris brothers fume on the guard for letting them thru. Guard explains that they are from the ministry who are here for the crowning. Gayatris brothers request again to inform Ranaji-Gayatri that they have come.
Ranaji is sitting with the Royal family and tells Kunwarji that THIS CANT BE. Kunwarji says that its our tradition to host a feast in the honor of the new Queen. The King crowns the Queen and there is huge feast. Other kings-queens are invited. Festival is held. British Officials come and give acceptance to the new Queen. Ranaji says for me the Kingdom is more important. He asks if the Royal treasury can bear the expenses of this Royal feast. Ranaji says the money is for the betterment of the people of the kingdom not for spending on feast. Rajmata says no matter whether the king wants or not, if he wants to be accepted as KING, he has to be come the KING. This is kalyug, we cant look for God in stone. Here, people bow in front of the Golden idol. Lakshya agrees with Rajmata. Amerkot treasury is not that weak that it cant bear the burden of one royal feast. Ranaji says its not about one feast. The money that will be spent on one feast can be used to feed 25 villages for next 6 months. Ranaji says this tradition of royal feast has to be broken. All are shocked. Ranaji walks off. All leave except Lakshya. He thinks, this is what i wanted. To break traditions. Coz of you i took Saroj's life, you have to pay the price. Swarnlekha comes and sits beside Gayatri. Gayatri shares her sadness about what she did. She says that when my bro got married. I was sitting in his room and he had told me your sitting like a hurdle between me and my wife. She shares how her mom told to talk of vegetarian food only. Gayatri says such a girl, what will happen when she sees non-veg. Swarnlekha says i understand. This is your sasural but this is Royal Palace. Your not just a bride but a Queen too. You cant do anything that hurts the Royal family even mistakenly. Gayatri says Ranaji hasnt eaten anything. I told Badi Rani Maa that i am vegetarian but not Ranaji. He will think i am guilty. Swarnlekha says to tell Ranaji the truth then, he will understand. Gayatri asks really. Swarnlekha says if right words dont reach right ears, its lost in the silence. Go talk to him. Gayatri is relieved and decides to tell Ranaji all. She wonders how. Right then a guard comes. Gayatri asks him, his name. He says Sumant. Gayatri says do one thing for me. She writes something in a piece of paper and asks him to deliver to Ranaji. He hesitates but Gayatri says hurry up. She thinks all will be well. Swarnlekha wants to exit. Gayatri says please dont all me Rani, call me Gayatri. Swarnlekha says call me Swarna then. She assures Ranaji will calm down once he finds out the truth.
Gayatri and Swarnlekha are walking in the corridor when she sees her brothers. She rushes to greet them. She asks about her family. They say come and see yourself. Gayatri asks but how. They say here to take you for Pag-phera. Gayatri is delighted. She turns and sees Swarnlekha and apologizes for the delay in introductions. Swarnlekha reminds her that Ranaji-RajMata need to know that her brothers are here to take her for pagphera. She asks the guards to take care of her brothers. Gayatri hopes that Ranaji has read her note.
Part 2
The council of ministers say that after the crowning of the new Queen, royal feast will take place. This tradition has been going on for ages. Without this feast, she will not be accepted as the Queen. Gayatri overhears the whole conversation. The council asks Ranaji if the feast will take place or not. Council of ministers say that even your father never broke tradition. Tell me. Ranaji firmly says NO. All are shocked. The council says in this depleted kingdom, the only thing left with us is tradition and you are snatching that from us. If the throne cant protect the honor of the kingdom, what is the use of this throne. Right then Gayatri intervenes. She apologizes to all for speaking in front of all elders. Gayatri says this royal feast will happen. All are stunned.
Gayatri assures that it will not burden the treasury. Lakshya taunts her. Gayatri says a woman who runs the house with the budget is a GRUHANI. Badi RaniMa says that she has thrown huge royal feasts and it is always burdening the treasury. When I couldnt reduce the expenses then how can you reduce the expenses. Gayatri reminds her that she is the daughter of a KING and Gayatri is the daughter of a businessman. In my maika, we speak in well measured manner so that we dont end up saying even one single word extra then imagine how much we think before spending money.
Part 3
RajMata says we are not talking of preparing food for a house. Gayatri says i know. See if we buy from mandi, we get it cheaper by 20%. We can tell them we will buy from them for next 3 years so we will get it even more cheaper. Gayatri says know that it will not solve the problems but we can use the rice, vegetables from Royal palace stores. We can make sweets from khoya from the milk of the cows of the Royal palace. RajMata is delighted. Badi RaniMa is still unsure. Ranaji ponders over Gayatris suggestion. Lakshya asks about meat for the feast and Gayatri says it will be a purely vegetarian feast. Ranaji-RajMata are shocked. Lakshya says cows-buffalos are not coming at the feast, RAJPUT are. How will Rajput live without eating meat. Gayatri says its not necessary to kill to live. Lakshya says its a men's talk, dont expect women to understand. Gayatri says a Queen understand everything very well. Lakshya says am not gonna bow down before your understanding. Am Mahadevs bhakt, i bow before him. Gayatri reminds that even Mahadev bowed down before Kali Maa. Lakshya says its better that we dont have any feast at all, atleast the reputation of this family will be maintained. Gayatri reminds that before Royal feast, Mahadev is worshiped. Where God is present himself, there is reputation. Regarding respect, it is not about the food, it is about the person, his thoughts, his behavior. Ranaji is taken aback. RajMata agrees with Gayatri. Council of ministers compliment Gayatri for making Lakshya speechless. Lakshya resolves to avenge his insult. Council of ministers ask Ranajis views. He says if this can be done, then i agree for the feast. Gayatri self thought, thank You for trusting me. Wont disappoint.
Precap -- Bari RaniMa says to Gayatri that this Anchal on her head means our heads are bowed before you but if this is not then this is lost. Your respect is the respect of Amirkot that she has to take care of. Laksh order his man to take off Gayatri's saree in public to ruin her respect.
