Just as is customary of our Indian soaps, that no soap wedding can be without it's share of OTT drama and underhanded schemings, this is after all a royal wedding. So how can it be devoid of these basic ingredients...

The wedding proceedings of Raga for usre is going to have it's regular dose of all this...Mercifully, yesterday's episode of "haldi" ceremony was a improvement over the debacle of the previous "sangeet" ceremony episode...

I liked the execution of the episode...definitely the entire lay down of the trap to kill Ranaji and the usurping of Gayatri's "haldi" was executed very well...Though were aware of the outcome of both the schemings, yet all of it made for an interesting watch...What I liked most about the entire proceedings was the schemers getting the taste of their own medicine...What more, the icing on the cake being that both Rajmata and Ranaji displaying their presence of mind and astuteness and letting out a subtle warning to the mechanizing couple that their devious intentions have not gone unnoticed...A pleasant change from the cliches of "victims being in a state of ignorant bliss"...

Leaving today's ramblings with a few lines from a retro highlighting the going ons in the tale to lighten the mood...

"Dushman hai hazaron yahan jaan ke,

zara milna nazar pehchaan ke,

kai roop mein hai qatil"...
