I think Govind Seth accepted Rajmata's proposal and he invited her to come to his house with the alliance. That is why he was very impatiently looking at his pocket watch again and again

Yup i also wondered that.
May be Bauji already accepted but didnt disclose to Gayatri or family instead waiting for Rajmata to come home with proposal
