So the episode starts out with Latu Di giving Sharda the medications for Dia. She tells Sharda that she feels great that Sharda can now read. Sharda tells her that she likes it too.
Latu Di then tries to go talk to Suresh about some business stuff, but Sharda strictly forbids her. This goes on for a minute and then Sharda gets angry. Karan walks down the stairs and encounters this and comments on this new 'hot' mom. Sharda tells him not to make a joke out of this because Suresh really has to rest. Latika tries to protest but Sharda turns her down, to which Karan tells her something along the lines of distancing Latika (I didn't catch this part, but it was related to business). Sharda goes away and Latika and Karan argue about the meeting. Karan suggests Latika handle meetings 1 and 2, and Karan gets 3. But Latika says she can take care of all 3.
The next scene shows Suresh seated on the sofa. Sharda brings a cup full of brownish looking juice and makes Suresh drink it. She also makes his seat more comfortable. Sakshi enters says good morning to all and then Sharda instructs her to not make Suresh do anything while she goes to drop Dia at school.
Sakshi decides to put some lentils in the steam cooker. But the rubber portion came off. She asks Dadi for help, but Suresh tells her that he can do it. Sakshi eventually agrees and Dadi suggests that Sakshi also bring the steam cooker pot thing so Suresh can put the lid on. She does and Suresh proudly does it.
Sakshi goes back into the kitchen and starts the flame. The whistle doesn't blow and after a while she notices it. She goes to do something else on the other side of the kitchen and her paloo thing is stuck in the cabinet.
IT WAS ABOUT TO BLOW!
Sharda enters and talks to Ruksar that she isn't coming to class because Suresh isn't feeling well. She hears the steam cooker and rushes over there. She sees it was about to pop and quickly puts water on it and turns off the flame.
Suresh and Dadi rush over to the kitchen to see what happens and Sharda gets angry at Sakshi and tells her that she should have waited until she got home because the lid wasn't put on properly. Sakshi looks at Suresh who just walks away and Dadi follows.
Sakshi at this point is crying. Sharda calms down and tells her if she felt bad that she scolded her. Sakshi says yes, and Sharda tells her that she has to scold her because she put in danger her most favorite thing. Sakshi repeats "most favorite thing?" <my guess is that she was thinking the same thing I was thinking -- the pressure cooker> but Sharda clears any doubt and says it was Sakshi.
Yay!
They hug.
Next Scene:
Bell rings, teacher arrives.
Suresh doesn't like that the teacher has come and it's obvious by his expression. When Sharda goes to the kitchen, Suresh uses his chess pieces to indirectly insult the teacher.
The teacher just tells Suresh that he can defeat him in three moves. Suresh is surprised but agrees. 3 moves later - check mate. Suresh isn't happy. And egotistically says that he didn't get a chance to do his counter strategy.
The turns are reversed and the teacher tells Suresh to do his strategy .. he won't disturb him.
Sakshi and Sharda came and give some food to the teacher. The teacher reveals that he has good news. Someone from the class is going to London for the conference! Sharda asks who, and Sakshi's eye's light up! Yep, it was Sharda!
Suresh doesn't look too pleased.
Precap: Sakshi urges Sharda to ask Suresh permission to go to London and Sharda goes to Suresh and asks him what he thought about the London opportunity. Suresh looks at Sharda with his cold, meaningless stare.
