Kalpana was sitting on her bed resting her head on the dashboard with her closed eyes. Ragahv's sad face was flashing again and again when she was with Prem. Hearing Prem, "Kalpana," she opened her eyes.
Prem: How are you feeling now?
Kalpana: Better.
Prem smiled and sat beside her. "Kalpana, may I ask you a question?" hearing Prem, Kalpana nodded her head.
Prem: I know very well that I was not your choice. It was all our parents decision that we will get married. I also know very well that you and Bhai were not only best friends but you both share a deep and close bond. Since childhood the way he been supporting you, pampering you, caring you seems like you both are meant to be with each other. For Bhai, the most top priority is you, your happiness. Since you both enjoy each other's company, very comfortable with each other. I wonder if you were given a chance you would chose Bhai as your life partner since I was not your choice.
Kalpana was just listening to him without uttering a word. She knew very well that his each and every word is true. Her eyes got filled with water realizing she overreacted with Ragahv. To hide her tear she lowered her head. In the meantime the doctor entered into her room and said,
Doctor: Mr. Ragahv Singhania called me here to check you as you got hurt in your ankles.
Hearing the doctor, Prem said with a smile, "Kalpana, see, this is an example of how much Bhai cares for you."
After checking her up the doctor gave her a pain killer and told her to take rest. After taking the pain killer she fell asleep.
While having dinner, Ragahv asked if Kalpana ate dinner but dadi said Kalpana denied eating. Hearing this Ragahv put some rice and curry on a plate for Kalpana and walked toward her room. Seeing her laying on her bed with her closed eyes, he walked toward her bed. He sat beside her. Hearing him calling her by her name lovingly, "Kalpana," Kalpana opened her eyes.
Ragahv: I brought food for you.
Kalpana: But I don't feel like eating.
Ragahv: If you don't eat then you will fall sick.
Ragahv helped her sit. Offering spoonful rice, he said,
Ragahv: Now open your mouth. I will feed you.
Kalpana: Ragahv, I got hurt in my ankles not in my hand. I can eat by myself.
Ragahv: I know very well how much you will eat. Just open your mouth.
Kalpana listened what he just said. She was eating quietly while Ragahv was feeding her. One person was watching them standing from the door. While feeding her, Ragahv noticed, some curry fell at the corner of her lips. He wiped it off using his thumb causing them to look into each other's eyes. They shared an intense eye lock. I wish this moment would never end, she thought. Her trance broke when, "Now go to sleep," Saying so Ragahv left from there leaving Kalpana alone sad. Seeing Ragahv coming toward the door, Prem hid himself.
The next morning Kalpana woke up late. Once she woke up the first thing she decided to talk to Ragahv. She wanted to say sorry to him. She couldn't stay away from Ragahv anymore. She could see the same pain in his eyes. She went directly to Raghav's room but he was not there. She was about to come out of the room but stooped when his phone buzzed. Without looking at the person who called, Kalpana picked up the phone. Before she could say hello, the person on the other side said, "Ragahv, this is Katelyn. Did you talk to Kalpana about our marriage?" Hearing her, Kalpana cut the call. She threw the phone on the bed angrily. She came out from the room and went to the living room, where Ragahv and Prem were busy discussing about their dads company. They got distracted hearing Kalpana,
Kalpana: How could you do this Raghav?
Both Ragahv and Prem got off from the couch. Kalpana came near Ragahv and said, holding his shirt collar,
Kalpana: How could you and Katelyn decide to marry each other han?
Leaving his shirt collar, Kalpana left from there sobbing. Ragahv stood there quiet due to the presence of Prem. He decided to talk to Kalpana alone. After Kalpana left, Ragahv followed her behind leaving PRem surprised. "If Bhai, loves someone and decides to marry her then why Kalpana would have any problem?" Prem mumbled to himself.
Ragahv entered into Kalpana's room and locked the door. He pulled her toward him holding her by her waist. Lifting her chin he made her look into his eyes directly and then asked,
Ragahv: who told you that I am going to marry Katelyn?
Kalpana: Katelyn
Ragahv: Katelyn?
Kalpana: Yes Katelyn. I thought you came here for me but I was wrong. Actually you came here to talk to me about your and Katelyn's marriage. I spoiled my whole life only thinking about you. And you?
Saying so Kalpana pushed him hard and was about to leave but Ragahv caught her by her arm. Before Kalpana could react or say anything, Ragahv held her arm in his hard grip and pushed her against the wall. Wiping her tears she looked into his eyes directly and said,
Kalpana: I hate you Ragahv and your presence will not affect me any mo...
Ragahv silenced her placing his lips on her. His one hand was holding her head while his other one was on her waist. He bought her more closer while he deepened his kiss. First she protested in his arms to release herself but couldn't as his grip was too strong. Then she gave up and letting him to do whatever he wanted. He kissed her hard pouring all his anger toward her for leaving him there in USA alone. He bit her lips pouring his anger for telling him that his presence doesn't affect her anymore. He broke the kiss when he felt her no breath. Looking at her swollen lips he smirks,
Ragahv: My presence doesn't affect you anymore?
Kalpana pushed him hard and said angrily,
Kalpana: how dare you kissed me?
Ragahv bit his lower lip and then said,
Ragahv: I am your husband and I have all the right on you. I can do anything I want and I don't need any permission for that.
Kalpana: you show all your right on that Kate but not on me ok.
Saying so Kalpana left from there angrily. Ragahv also followed her behind. Kalpana walked toward PRem who was talking to one of his friend over the phone holding an invitation card,
Prem: Sorry Sameer, I and Kalpana won't be able to ...
Kalpana stopped him saying, "Prem, I am coming with you. Don't cancel the program." Hearing her Prem smiled and nodded his head. On the other hand Ragahv fists his hand in anger.
Prem: Sameer, we are coming.
When Prem was busy talking to his friend, Ragahv held Kalpana's hand and dragged her into his room.
Ragahv: Have you gone mad Kalpana? Do you know what are you doing?
Kalpana: I know very well what I am doing.
Ragahv: Prem will introduce you as his fianc.
Kalpana: Toh
Ragahv: Toh? You are my wife and you are going to be introduced by someone else's fiance and you are taking it easily.
Kalpana: It should not affect you when you are going to marry Katelyn.

Ragahv stopped when Prem came and asked, "Is everything all right?"

Saying so Kalpana took Prem with her leaving Ragahv alone angrily. "No matter what, I have to stop her going," Mumbling to himself he went to talk to dadi. Ragahv went to the kitchen and saw dadi was doing something in the kitchen. Holding her hand, he said,
Ragahv: Dadi, come with me. I have to talk to you.
Both went to her room. Holding his hand, dadi said,
Dadi: you seem so tensed.
Ragahv: Tension to hoga e. It is all because of your dearest grand daughter. Jaha wo tension to hoga e. Very stubborn. She will do whatever she will think. If I would get to know about her this side then I would stay away from her and there would be less chance to fall for her.
Hearing him, Dadi smiled inside. Then she said teasingly,
Dadi: you are right. Kaha tu, well stablished, well educated, good personality, sincere or kaha wo kalpana, stubborn, careless, childish. On top of that she gives you only tension. I have a solution. You go back to USA and leave her here with me. Tension khatam.
Hearing her Raghav gave dadi a killer look.
Ragahv: dadi, how could you say that. You know very well that I cant stay without her.
Dadi: But you just said, she only gives you tension.
Ragahv: However she is, stubborn, careless, childish, but I still love her.
Dadi: Hmmm, kab se?
Ragahv: Since childho...
Ragahv stopped realizing what he just said.
Dadi: Then why didn't you ever tell me that you love her. I would make your parents agree for that. I always wanted to see you both together. You always would look good together.
Seeing him lowering his head sadly, she continued,
Dadi: Achcha tell me why you wanted to talk to me.
Ragahv: Dadi, Kalpana is very upset on me. She thinks that someone else is in my life.
Dadi: Upset to hoga e. she loves you a lot and can't see you with anyone else.
Ragahv: Dadi, we are away from each other for more than two weeks. Please do something na.
Dadi: sorry, I can't do anything in this matter. You have to do it. She is your wife first then my granddaughter. You will spend your whole life with her. Lot of things will happen in life and you both have to face those without involving other people.
Ragahv: Dadi, I tried but couldn't.

Ragahv was very upset as he tried to talk to Kalpana but she locked herself in her room until afternoon. Sitting on the swing, on the terrace, he was so lost in her thought that he couldn't realize when a maid came and told that Kalpana came out from her room. His trance broke hearing the sound of engine. He looked down when the maid said, "Sir, Kalpana mam is going to the party with Prem sir." Ragahv saw that Kalpana was walking toward the car wearing this saree,
He ran downstairs. Before he could reach, their car left from there. Ragahv threw all his anger to the maid shouting, "Why did you take too long to inform me ha?"
Maid: Sir, I informed you but ...
Ragahv stopped her saying angrily, "you are fired. Don't come to work from tomorrow." Dadi heard it. After Ragahv left, she assured the maid that nothing will happen with her job.
Ragahv was very restless, pacing back and forth in his room since one hour. He couldn't pacify his heart that his Kalpana will be introduced as someone else's fianc. With this thought he came out from his room with the car key. He dialed the driver's number,
Raghav: Ramu, where did you drop Prem and Kalpana off?
After taking the address Ragahv drove off to that place. After 45 minutes of driving finally Ragahv reached the Venue. Once he reached the Venue, he started searching for Prem and Kalpana. It was an outdoor function. One of Prem's friends Sameer's engagement party. Ragahv asked a couple,
Ragahv: hi, have you seen Prem and..
Prem's friend: You are talking about Prem and his fianc?
Ragahv didn't say anything as he didn't like the way prem's friend addressed Kalpana as Prem's fianc.
PRem's friend: they were here few minutes earlier.
Then he looked around and said with a smile, "there they are." Ragahv saw them. Prem was hugging her in a little quiet area. He could see PRem clearly but she was facing her back. Seeing them close, he clenched his fist angrily. "How dare he took my Kalpana in his arms?" He said gritting his teeth. He rushed toward them and punched Prem on his face hard causing prem to fall on the ground. Ragahv bent down and shouted holding Prem's shirt collar angrily, "How dare you touched my Kalpana?" Ragahv was about to punch him again but stopped hearing an unfamiliar female voice from behind, "Excuse me, why are hitting Prem?" hearing her, Ragahv looked behind.
Ragahv: Kalpana?
The girl: who is Kalpana? I am Niki.
Ragahv noticed that the girl (Niki) was also wearing the same color saree, Kalpana wore. Prem was hugging Niki? Ragahv thought. His trance broke hearing Niki saying, "You didn't tell me why you hit PRem?" Ragahv looked at Prem when he said holding his bleeding nose, "Niki, let me tell you. This is my elder brother. He misunderstood. He thought his Kalpana..." Prem paused little bit and then continued, "I meant to say my bhabi ji was in my arms and then her possessive husband..." he paused again and then said, "and then what happened you just saw Niki." Hearing him Ragahv was shocked. How does PRem know about me and Kalpana? Ragahv thought. Prem noticed his changing expression.
Prem: Bhai, I know everything.
Ragahv: But Prem, how do...
Prem: Kalpana
Ragahv: Kalpana?
Prem: yes, she told me about your and her marriage.
Flashback start
On the way in the car, Kalpana was sitting quietly. I was upset on Ragahv, that's why I agreed to come with Prem, Kalpana thought, but how I will face those people who will consider me as Prem's fianc? Please God help me. Her trace broke hearing Prem
Prem: Kalpana are you ok? You seemed very tensed.
Kalpana: I am fine Prem.
They reached the venue. Holding her hand, Prem walked her toward his friends. Seeing them his friends called him, "Hey Prem." Kalpana's heart was beating very fast every passing second as she and Prem walked over.
PRem hugged his friends.
Prem: guys, let me introduce you with her. She is Kalpana. My fi...
Kalpana stopped him saying, "Prem, I need to talk to you." Prem nodded his head. He excused themselves and then came to a quiet area. Making her sit on a chair, PRem sat to the opposite side.
Prem: tell me what do you want to say?
Prem noticed that Kalpana was hesitating. There must be something which is bothering her? He thought.
Prem: Kalpana, is there anything which is bothering you?
Kalpana: vo actually, Prem..
Prem: ha, tell me, I am waiting.
In the meantime one of his friends came toward them and said, "Hey Prem, how are you?"
Prem: I am fine.
Looking at Kalpana, "Is she your fiance?" his friend asked. Before Prem could say anything, Kalpana replied quickly, "No, I am not." Hearing her Prem was confused. "Oh, I am sorry," saying so his friend left from there.
Prem: Kalpana, why did you say...
Kalpana: you heard it right. I am neither your fianc nor we are going to marry.
Seeing him looking at her confused, she said,
Kalpana: I and Ragahv
Prem: you and bhai what?
When he didn't get any answer from Kalpana he said,
Prem: you and bhai are in a relationship?
Taking a deep breath she said,
Kalpana: Prem, you were right. You were not my choice. My choice was someone else. Do you remember, you asked me if I was given a chance would I choose Ragahv as my life partner? Yes. Yes If I would get a chance I would choose him. I never felt anything for anyone, even, my parents, dadi, you the way I do for Ragahv. I don't know why but I always wanted to be only with him and God fulfilled my wish. Now we are together.
Prem: Together?
Kalpana: yes, we are together.
Looking at his eyes straight, she said, "We are husband and wife."
Prem was not only shocked but upset. He never realized that it will happen in absence of him.
Kalpana: Prem, I know you will have lots of questions in our mind. I am sorry we had to hide it from yo...
Prem stopped her saying,
Prem: when did it happen?
Kalpana: when you dint show up at our wedding day.
He smiled and said, "Thanks God, I met with an accident or three of our lives would have been destroyed." Though he smiled but Kalpana could feel the hidden pain in his eyes. Taking her hand in his, Prem said, "I am very happy for you both Kalpana as you got what you wanted." he got off from the chair and said, "Give me a hug." Kalpana smiled and hugged him. Hugging her back he closed his eyes letting his tears flowing down. Wiping his tears, he broke the hug and said,
Prem: I can't call you bhabi ok as you were my childhood friend too and tell this to your husband. He may not like it.
Hearing him Kalpana smiled. She was about to say something but stopped when she got a call from her friend Purvi. "I will be back," saying so Kalpana left from there. Looking at her going, I don't know when I started falling for you Kalpana, Prem said in his mind. His trance broke hearing a familiar female voice from behind, "Prem?" Prem looked back. "Niki?" Niki came toward him. Touching his cheek she said surprised, "Tum zinda ho?"
PRem: Why are you saying this Niki?
Niki: Bhai said, you are dead.
Saying so she hugged him and started crying. While hugging,
Niki: I was so broken down hearing the news of your death. I almost forgot to live my life. Today is the first time I came outside because our friends insisted me.
It means the Inspector was right. Niki's brother tried to kill me, Prem thought. (Flashback end)
Present
Prem: You both love each other since childhood but hid your feelings from each other. Bhai, this is not fair.
Hearing him, Ragahv smiled.
Prem: Bhai, go and get your girl.
Ragahv: Where is she?
Prem: She must be around.
Raghav's eyes fell on a person who was announcing on the stage. Seeing this something came into his mind. He was about to go but stopped when Prem said,
Prem: Bhai, best of luck.
Ragahv nodded his head with a smile and walked toward the stage. He asked the announcer for the mike for few minutes and then went to the stage. He decided to pour his heart to Kalpana completely because if he couldn't express himself this time to her then he would never ever do it. He wanted to tell her how much he loves her. He wanted to assure her that he was only Kalpana's. Realizing it would be difficult for him as it was his first time, but he had to do this for her. Holding the mike Ragahv began,
Ragahv: Hi.., Kalpana..., this is for you. Wherever you are, hope you are listening to me. I would like to share some of my hidden feelings with you. The feeling I am talking about is for you. I didn't know what that strong thing between us which pulled me hard toward you since childhood. I would love to spend time with you, I would love to think about you, I would love to care about you, I would love when dadi would tease me about you. I would love everything about you. You were always in my thought. I never thought of anyone because my heart always yearned for you. I just believed that you are mine, completely mine from soul and from heart. Now I have realized that I can't be without you. I can live without air, but without you it is not possible. I just want to say that I cant imagine my life without you. I am incomplete without you. I love you Kalpana. I love you so much.
All the people in the venue were just listening to him amused. But Ragahv's eyes were impatiently searching for only one person, Kalpana. His eyes were stuck in the crowded audience when he saw her with teary eyes. She was trying her best to hold her tears but they were not in her control this time. It was a priceless moment for her for which even she didn't know for how many years she had been waiting and today it has come. Her love, her husband, her Ragahv confessed his love toward her. She stood there stunned. The spotlight was on her now and she was just staring at him. Ragahv came down from the stage and slowly walked toward her. Both of them were staring at each other. They gazed into each other's eyes that were filled with heavy emotions of love. The love, sincerity and respect were reflecting into each other's eyes. He raised his hand and brushed his finger to wipe her tears. Kalpana hugged him with all her strength, crying bitterly. He caressed her hair and back lovingly as she poured out all the hidden emotions with those tears. "I love you Ragahv," she said in between her sobs, "I missed you." Hearing her, "I missed you too," Ragahv replied with a smile. It was Prem who clapped first then other people in the audience. Looking at Prem,
Niki: Prem, are you sad?
Prem: No, jo mera kabhi nahi tha, main uskey liye sad feel keu karu. Kalpana was always belong to Bhai. I am so happy for them.
After a while they left the place. Prem with Niki and Ragahv with Kalpana.
On the way in the car Ragahv was holding Kalpana's hand and never left for a moment while driving. There was totally silence in the car. They were just glancing back to each other with smile. After 15 minutes of driving all of a sudden Kalpana noticed that a truck was approaching toward their car. "Ragahv, Truck," Hearing Kalpana, Ragahv tried to give the side to the truck causing their car to bump into a big tree. Ragahv tried to start the engine but it didn't work. They came out from the car. "Let me call PRem. He will pick us up," saying so Ragahv was about to call but Kalpana stopped him saying,
Kalpana: Ragahv, I don't want to go home now. I want to spend some time here with you.
Ragahv: here? On the road?
Kalpana: Hm
Ragahv: But this place seems very quiet. Anything can happen.
Kalpana: Ragahv, please, for a while.
Ragahv smiled and said, "Ok." He took off his coat and made her wear and then walked hand in hand. After walking few minutes Ragahv heard some foot steps. He looked behind but no one was there.
Ragahv: Kalpana, I think we should go.
Kalpana: ok
"Don't move." Both heard from behind. Before they could react or say anything they found themselves covered by black bags. Then they put ragna into a van. After two hours of driving finally the van reached a mill in a jungle. They uncovered ragna. Both looked around and noticed that it was a mill with a lot of machines.
Ragahv: why did you bring us here?
Man: we kidnapped you.
Pointing the gun toward his forehead, the kidnapper said, "Call one of your family members and tell him/her to bring 25,00,000 here and take you." Hearing him, Kalpana said, "25 lack. Have you gone mad? It's a lot of money. Ragahv don't give them even a single penny." Now pointing the gun toward Kalpana's forehead the kidnapper said angrily, "you better stay quiet or I will shoot you." Seeing this Ragahv clenched his fist and said angrily,
Ragahv: don't you dare to do anything with her or you don't know what I can do with you.
Hearing him the kidnapper said, "Seems like she is very valuable for you." After thinking something he continued, "Now, you go and get me 50 lack and take your chahita from me." Saying so the kidnapper almost dragged Kalpana with him. Seeing this Ragahv couldn't control himself and gave him a hard punch on his face. Other two kidnappers came to hold Ragahv so that he couldn't hit the kidnapper who was holding Kalpana. Ragahv's eyes fell on a rod laying on the ground. He took it using his feet and threw it pointing to the gun causing it to fall on the ground. Then he beat them with all his strength. Kalpana was just watching him amused how he was beating them alone. Two of them were laying on the ground with their broken legs. While the 3rd kidnapper was searching for the gun, Ragahv and Kalpana came out from there. After running 15 minutes in the jungle finally they came to the road. "Ragahv, I cant run anymore," Kalpana said huffing and puffing. "Lets wait here for any ride," Ragahv said. After two minutes Ragahv noticed that a truck was approaching toward them. Ragahv raised his hand to stop the truck. Seeing ragna the truck driver stopped the truck.
The truck driver: Sab ji, do you need any ride?
Ragahv: please. Just drop us off to the main road in the city.
Driver: ok.
Ragahv and Kalpana got into the backside of the truck. The driver drove off from there. Ragahv laid off on the dry branches while Kalpana sat leaning her back to the side of the truck. Looking at her,
Ragahv: Were you scared Kalpana?
Kalpana: No. Specially whenever I am with you I never scare of anything. I know very well that you won't let anything harm me until your last breath.
Ragahv: Hm
Placing his head on her lap, he took her hand in him and kissed there. Seeing him staring at her, Kalpana covered his eyes with her palm and said, "Stop staring at me like this." Removing her hand he said, "Don't stop me. Do you know after how many days I am able to see you?" Before Kalpana could say anything, the driver said,
Driver: Sab ji, where were you coming from? Kahi ladki ko bhagakar to nahi jarahata tha.
Ragahv: you are right. Bhagakar bohot dur US mai le jana chata hoon ladki ko and will not let her come back to India anymore.
Driver: why, will her family member make trouble?
Ragahv: No if she comes here, I need to come here followed her behind leaving my office, work, everything there.
Hearing him Kalpana pouted her mouth and complained
Kalpana: For you, your work and office is more important than me.
He got off from her lap and sat beside her. Placing his arms around her shoulder, he said lovingly,
Ragahv: for me nothing is important than you. You will see. Let me take you to USA.
Kalpana: What will you do?
Ragahv: I will stay home 24/7 with you.
Kalpana: how will you be able to stay without work at home?
Ragahv: who said I will not do anything.
Seeing Kalpana looking at him confused, Ragahv leaned and whispered into her ear, "Tumhe pyaar karungi."
Hearing him Kalpana blushed and lowered her head. Lifting her chin he raised her head to make her look into his eyes. Both of them were staring at each other with love and desire. His eyes then fell on her rosy lips. He brushed his thumb on her lips slowly making her closed her eyes. He leaned more toward her and captured her lips with his. The kiss was very soft, gentle. After few seconds they got distracted by the truck driver, "Sab ji, leave something for your bed room." Ragahv bit his lower lip while Kalpana blushed.
Ragahv: how long it will take?
Driver: One more hour.
Ragahv made Kalpana sit on his lap and said, "Take a little nap. I will wake you up when we will reach. Kalpana nodded her head and then placed her head on his chest. Ragahv caressed her hair and back lovingly making her to fall asleep.
It was 5 AM. Ragna reached the Mansion. Once they entered into the Mansion, when, "Surprise!!!" they looked around and saw the living room was decorated with lot of candles, flowers, ballons.
Prem: Bhai, why did you take so long? We been waiting for a long time.
Raghav: It's a long story. First tell me what is all this?
Prem: For you and Kalpana. It is a small surprise from me.
Ragahv: Aww, thank you.
Both raghav and kalpana hugged him.
Prem: Ok, come, lets cut the cake.
Ragna cut the cake and fed each other and then fed other people, dadi, niki, Prem. While having breakfast,
Ragahv: Dadi, Prem is here. Now can you come with us?
Dadi: Let me settle him down.
Raghav: Prem, I want you join office as soon as possible. Call me if you need any help.
Prem: ji bhai.
After breakfast, Ragahv went to his room to make a phone call to the travel agency to confirm ticket to USA. Seeing Kalpana entering into his room, he put the phone on hold and said,
Ragahv: Kalpana, pack your luggage. We have to catch the evening flight.
Kalpana: Ok
Saying so she started packing Raghav's luggage. While putting his cloths in the bag, her eyes fell on a card. Seems like wedding card, she thought. She took it in her hand and opened it. In the card it was written Katelyn's and Robert's name. "Katelyn is getting married to Robert?" she mumbled to herself.
Ragahv: yes, Kate and Rob are getting married. They wanted us to organize their party that's why she called me and you misunderstood.
Taking her hand in his, he said,
Ragahv: Kate and rob are not only my friends but they are like my family members. In my crisis they helped me a lot. They empty their one floor to build my company as I couldn't afford to rent an office. They worked for my company free. Because of them we got everything back. Hearing him Kalpana lowered her head in guilt. Lifting her chin, he raised her head to look into his eyes.
Ragahv: Kalpana, You don't have to feel insecure. You are my life. I cant even think anything else without you.
Kalpana: I am sorr..
Ragahv silenced her placing his index finger on her lips. "You don't have to. In the future if anything bothers you just come and talk to me. But never leave me like this." Kalpana hugged him and said, "Ragahv, I am very lucky to have you in my life. You have done a lot for me. Now it is my turn. I will support you in every possible way and will not leave any option to complain."
