I think all the character in ema because no character achieved their goal . Rags failed in revenge plan kamla bai dream not completed kalpi can't her aasmaan .

Sammy. Disappeared when there was trouble. A true, loyal , dependable but his character was left 'high n dry' during the crisis !!!

Kalpi didn't get her aasmaan

Kamla never saw her beti as memsaab (she saw Suhana as memsaab, I feel that's totally different)

Raghav never got his so called revenge

Gauri never avenged her prempujya patidev n the torture done on her

Pakhi didn't manage to complete her rape on Raghav

Kapoors weren't shown to get their property back, n Neetu's 10k crores ka sapna remained a sapna

Prem never destroyed Raghav (something he had promised but didn't even try)

Vitthal cudn't get any more value than being Kamla's pallu

Pakya started off as a protective n loving brother, towards the end remained a prop

Sammy, started off as advisor, love guru, then disappeared when he was most needed to never return

Overall, Manda might be the only character who wasn't degraded
