I only have the following PRACTICAL reasons why I don't want the forum to be closed:
1. The forum being inactive & containing only stories and ATs: This forum is quite active since the show has shut down and has an activity of 2-3 pages increasing almost everyday because members are not only active with their stories but we also share articles related to the characters (whether fuzion articles and so on). The members may not be active 24/7 but yes, there is activity. The forum has already an episode discussion created by a member here and even other general threads are created from time to time in this forum to keep the characters alive. We can make sure to keep creating more threads discussing the old episodes. That's a small job for us and isn't tough as many members can cooperate and do the needful.
2. The bashing and controversial articles: This happens mostly everywhere and one cannot completely stop this from happening in future but we all EMA members requested them to not to post any article that can lead to bashing and not make a personal attack on other members. There have been very few instances wherein MODs had to intervene and close posts and as far I remember, there have been just 2 instances in the past 6 months. Because of 2 instances to decide to close a forum is not right IMO and can be reconsidered.
I have not got any other reason quoted by the MOD of closing this thread but I can only add saying that IF does need members to be active here and make this forum as a whole popular and by closing forums that are active and having minimal instances of fights and controversies can make the forum lose many members. As a member out here, I think I can express my views and how we value IF, IF also needs to value the members. We are living as a family in this forum and closing an active forum is disheartening for us members.
