Recap:- Raghav and Kalpana went to explore local markets while Pakhi tries to know whats going on between Raghav and Kalpi.
Raghav and Kalpana were coming back to the venue when he asked "You still carry the phobia?" She all but nodded to his question. "Whenever he barks I just remember the school incident." He laughed meekly. So since we are here for quite a time have you decided on anything for Sangeet ceremony. I mean you are close to both Mayu and your Tammy." She remained silent for a while thinking deeply about it. "I didn't want to earlier and so I haven't prepared anything but now I definitely want to. Lets see I mean we are going back so lets just hear out what others have planned. By the way whats your thing" "Naaa..I am also unprepared. Actually I didn't get much time. So many things came up and I couldn't give attention to this one. I just wanted to be here for full 15 days and for that a lot needed to wrapped up so..." They both smiled knowing each others position.
"Guys Hi!" Pakhi came in between the conversation of the group. Everybody greeted her. Some did appreciate her beauty and complimented that she looks much more beautiful than before. She mumbled thanks and joined the convo. "So I guess some people are missing." She hinted towards Raghav and Kalpi. While there were some sensible people in the group who equally disliked Pakhi and were in very good terms with Raghav, Sammy and Maya chose to ignore her, the rest started talking about the absence of Rags and Kalpi. "Guys they must be coming. Don't think too much about their absence." Medha one of the close friends of Rags and Mayu stated in a straight tone. None in the entire group knew much about Kalpi as she was very shy and apart from Maya and Sammy she hardly initiated converstion with anyone. She used to be more of a listener. They were all cordial but never considered her as a friend.
"Hey guys" Samaya joined the group. "So liked the venue?" "Absolutely" one of their friends replied. Generally every group always has a friend who has the habit of poking nose in everybody's matter without any bad intention. One of this kind asked "Sammy Rags aur silent movie kaha hai?" He narrowed his eyes in anger and the other immediately reframed the question "Where is Rags and Kalpi?" "Both had gone out to check the local markets but they were supposed to come by now. Pata nai kaha reh gaye?" "Its ok honey they'll will be back on time. I mean they are not kids that you're getting worried about them."
After an hour Kalpana and Raghav came back from their exploration. "Hi everyone!" The entire group looked at their direction and for a moment they all were speechless. They have never seen Kalpana in such a hot avatar. She was wearing a jump suit and had done a lil make up to highlight her best features her big eyes and lips. Her hairdo was also classy and all in all she was a pleasant surprise package in this marriage. Pakhi was feeling more and more jealous in wrong way as suddenly the entire lime light shifted on Kalpi and she was now left to be a mute spectator. "Hi Kalpi. How have you been? And aaa...you're looking great, just completely different from the one Kalpi that we used to see in the past." Rohit one of the close friends complimented her and Narain joined. "Absolutely! A pleasant surprise for all of us!" She smiled in return for the compliments while Raghav cleared his throat " Hello!" He all but screamed looking at the plain ignorance he was met with. "I am also there and I guess many of us are meeting like almost after 5-7 years so you guys can also ask me if I am good or not?" "Hi Rags Kaise ho?" Gautami asked. "Good". "C'mon don't tell me you're getting jealous of Kalpi." Medha said amusingly looking at the dull face of Rags. "No! Its just that nobody looked at me!" "Shut up! Dramebaaz" Kalpi dabbed him and he laughed. "Tum nahi badloge Rags. You're just the same." One of the friends commented on his playful nature. "Hum to bhai aise hai aise hi rahenge" Pakhi was fuming in anger; her sudden appearance shocked him momentarily but now he was all cool about it as if she didn't matter to him at all. She was getting more and more jealous. Her only intention to come into this marriage was to mend ways with him and he looked completely disinterested in her.
Sammaya was called inside as few of the guests had arrived and they insisted on meeting them. "Guys whats the plan for sangeet ceremony. Have you guys prepared something?" Raghav asked inquisitively. "Well Narain and Gautami told them about their duet performance while others also divulged their acts and how they are going to sync it altogether with the help of wedding planner. Rohit asked Kalpi about her plan and suddenly she realised she was at a tight spot. Being best friend of Maya she was supposed to prepare something. Maya though wouldn't mind if she didn't perform but it will look inappropriate on her part. She gulped and kept her expression intact 'BLANK'. "Don't tell me Kalpi that you haven't planned anything. All your life you have never performed on any stage as per the records which we all know but this your besties wedding." Pakhi taunted her and gained some laughter. Raghav wanted to retort but before that Rohit stepped in. "Pakhi will you please stop living in your dreamy world! Let her speak!" Medha his girlfriend looked at him with a sudden curiosity. He ignored her and asked Kalpi "Bataona what are you going to perform on?" Rags knew very well that only those two, who happens to be best friends of the groom and bride, are unprepared. Now it was his turn to save the day and quickly he answered infuriating Pakhi further. "Well its a surprise!" "You both are going to perform together!" Medha exclaimed and looked at Rohit teasingly. "That would be great! You both are their best friends. They would love your act." All through the while Kalpi maintained one single expression 'Blank' while Rags smiled approving Medha's thoughts.
"So you two have met before?" Pakhi asked. Now both were at fix. What to answer? He looked at Kalpi for help but she was already looking at him with 'BLANK' expression. She cannot lie easily. On professional level yes may be but on personal level it was damn difficult for her. "Rags hello!" Please come back to reality." "No I wasn't lost I was thinking about your common sense Pakhi. I mean it goes without saying that we had met before otherwise how can we perform together." It earned laughter from all and that was limit for her. She left the group to enjoy on her own and meet new people.
The party went on till wee hours and Kalpi didn't get any chance to talk with Raghav alone. Being tired because of the hectic day she decided to go back to her room. Narain and Rohit who have developed extra interest in Kalpi inspite of having their girlfriends company stopped her in mid. "Kalpi the party is still on where are you going?" This was something new. She always chose to remain invisible as that is the way she liked but today she was almost under lime light all the time. All the guys were looking at her with admiration and more while the gals looked on feeling envy. "I was just tired so thought of taking rest." "You should Kalpi it was a long day. Take care and take a tight sleep." She smiled at Gautami and left for her room.
"What the hell was that?" Gautami and Medha asked together to their respective boyfriends. Anger quite evident in their tone. "Nothing" Rohit replied as casually as he can but the look on their face was enough to tell them that their girls were pissed off with this behaviour. "Kuch jyada hi friendly nai ho rahe ho tum dono Kalpi ke saath!" Medha asked "Aree yaar bataya to sahi she is suchha pleasant surprise for us. C'mon there is no need for you girls to be jealous of her. If you don't trust us atleast trust her! Tum hi batao yaar don't you find the change in her beautiful? I mean the way she used to look, oiled hair perfectly braided and now its like some geniee came and changed her 360 degrees. So we are just plesantly surprised thats it!" "Woh to hai" Gautami affirmed Narain's view.
"Kal subah hi jaakar Raghav se baat karungi. Surprise! What surprise!!! Oh God! Rags get ready to be grilled!!!" She mumbled few more curses for him and opened her room. She switched on the light only to find a snoring Raghav resting calmly on her bed. "What the hell!!! What is he doing in my room? The card is with me then?" She went towards the balcony and found the door unlocked. "Okay" She went near and dabbed him as well as called out his name. After few attempts he woke up. "Aa gayi tum. You took so much of time. I thought you might be tired and will come up soon. I was waiting for you. Anyways I am feeling sleepy. Good night and dont dare to wake me up" Giving her an almost warning he slept again in her room and on her bed. She gawk at him with mouth agape. She has never been friendly like this to anyone apart from Mayu and now here is Raghav who was comfortably sleeping in her room on her bed and has almost warned her. She knew Rags is a friendly guy. He gels easily with everyone and that is his best quality but she is new to it.
She kept looking at him. "Ab kya karu" She opened the balcony door and tried his trick to reach his room but no it was definitely not within her guts. She quickly glanced downside and moved inside. "No I am not a dare devil!" She again looked at him. He wasn't joking. He is asleep. Giving up she changed and putting a wall of cushions available in the room she slept on the other side. The bright sun rays broke Raghav's deep slumber. He got up and realised he was not in his room. He looked at the line of cushions placed adjacent to his pillow and looked at Kalpi's sleeping form. She was looking beautiful. Her hair falling down on her face and hiding it a bit. She looks more beautiful without makeup. The door bell brought him out of his reverie. Raghav looked from eye hole and it was Pakhi. "Why is she here? What does she want from her?" He went near Kalpi to wake her up but stopped in mid and smiled evilly. He went back and opened the door.
Shocked, stunned, surprised whatever you name it. It was all visible on her face. "What is he doing in Kalpi's room? Are they both seeing each other? Do they have anything?" Composing herself and calming her nerves she asked politely "Rags Hi where is Kalpi?" Rags was noticing her every expression. "Try it harder Pakhi but you won't be able to hide it from me." He thought on seeing the various emotions playing on her face. "Well yes I'm here? And Kalpi must be in her room." Shocked again! "In her room! It is 4601, this is her room. I asked the receptionist." "Well I stay here. Her's is 4602. But dont try to wake her up like you did with me this early. We came late from the party so probably she must be sleeping and not to forget this is kinda vacation for us so please dont unnecessarily ring the bell early in the morning." Answering straight he tried to shut the door but she stopped him. He was praying inwardly for her to leave otherwise his prank will end even before it kicks off. "Raghav how can they do suchha mistake. I mean..." Cutting her blabbering in the mid Raghav outrightly said "More than half of the rooms are booked for this marriage. If you have any query ask Sam and Mayu. Ok bye" Without wasting a second he shut the door on her face leaving a confused Pakhi outside.
"Kaun tha? Room service. Mujhe bhi chai chaiye" Kalpi said slowly getting up from the bed and arranging the cushions. Leaving her unanswered he called Sam and explained him everything. "Dude you are...leave it...she is seriously gonna freak out on you. But still I'm all in and I'll convince Maya too. Good one" They both laughed on the probable outcome. "Rags ek to tum mere kamre mei so gaye upar se ab sawaal ka bhi jawaab nai de rahe ho. Kisse baat kar rahe ho?" He turned to find Kalpi staring at him angrily. He sighed looking at the angry face of Kalpi. Poor girl has to sleep in suchha way. He came a lil forward "The breakfast is ready downstairs we gave to go there it won't come up so get ready and then he told her the entire incident as well as his planning. She was surprised to know this all. "I won't do this! Mujhse nai hoga. I cannot speak lies effortlessly. And what has Pakhi done that you are doing all this to her. She went on to open the door but Raghav lifted her from her waist and brought her back near the bed. "You are not going anywhere alright. And you wanna know what has she done? Remember what she did with you last night, yesterday noon she told you silent movie and moreover she made me butt of jokes for quiet a time after our breakup. She deserves at least this much from me and you have to support me." She kept looking at Rags and finally agreed. "But I'm not a good liar...and the plan sounds good." She smiled notoriously and he joined her. "Don't worry I'll handle, if at all, any odd situation crops up." Chal bye taiyaar ho jaa." "Bye." Taking the route from where he came in he went towards his room. "You're in for a treat Pakhi, get ready!!!"
As thought by Rags Pakhi went to the area where breakfast was kept for all the guests and started searching for Sam and Maya. She just wanted to make sure that she finds atleast something that push down their fairytale wedding. She was kinda jealous with Maya as she never thought apart from her anybody can go for such an expensive wedding. This lil clerical mistake gave her a point to bring down their spirit. "Sam" "She came..." he smiled wickedly and turned with a straight face. "Yes Pakhi" "I think we have a problem." "What? I didn't get you?" "There is some problem in allotment of rooms." "Pakhi what are you saying? "Sam I just wanted to talk to Kalpi and" she narrated the entire incident to him who already knew what has happened and what is going to happen. Pakhi my wedding planners have made sure not even a minute mistake happens in any arrangement. I'm sure there must be a misunderstanding." "So you want to say that I am dumb enough to not differentiate between numbers and get confused" "No I didn't say that." "But you meant it indirectly." "Ok lets do one thing lets verify the things and sort it out whether its clerical mistake or a mere misunderstanding." "Fine with me but if I'm right then?" "I'll do as you say but if you're wrong then?" "Same I'll do as you say" Confident enough she proceeded towards reception desk. Sam cut the call which was on till now and Maya called Raghav about succcess of Phase-3. Rags in turn informed Kalpi to get ready as phase-4 the final phase is about to begin.
Kalpi had worn the saree which she had earlier worn in many presentations and had got appreciation from. Keeping it light she wore earrings and a bracelet and watch on either of the hands and put up a simple makeup. She kept her hair open and was ready for showtime. Rags had worn a pink shirt and dark blue jeans keeping it casual as it was just a simple breakfast. He too was eagerly waiting for the show to begin.
"Yes Ma'am how can I help you?" the receptionist asked Pakhi only to be met with anger filled eyes which were shooting daggers at her. "In the morning I asked about Kalpana Sharma's room no. Can you repeat her room no?" she asked her keeping her tone low as Sam was present right there. "Sure Ma'am" She checked the register."Its 4601." "And Raghav Singhania?" "Aaa...4602" "Are you sure?" "Yes Ma'am I'm pretty much sure. They have signed against their name. See" She checked and got confused for few moments. "So what if they have signed! Rags stay in 4601 and Kalpi stays in 4602" "Thats not possible Ma'am. I clearly remember giving them keys according to the entries in the register." "So you want to say that I'm lying." "No Ma'am but I am not lying either." "What's happening?" Maya came in to join the bandwagon and have her own share of enjoyment. Sam explained her the entire situation and Maya hit the last nail to the coffin. "Pakhi lets check their room and see who is living in which room. In this way all the confusion will get cleared." "We were going to do that." "C'mon then lets move" The receptionist also came along to see who is right and who is wrong. Maya immediately mesaged both of them. "We are coming."
When they reached towards the room Maya went ahead to ring the bell of Room no 4601 but Pakhi stopped her and rang the bell of 4602. "Now see who opens thr door." Pakhi smirked waiting for Kalpi to open the door. "Yes" A horrified Pakhi turned on listening a male voice and much to her surprise it was Raghav. "What the hell are you doing here?" Pakhi asked angrily."Excuse me! You rung the bell so you have to tell me what do you want?" "Where is Kalpi?" "She must be in her room I guess." "This is her room" "Oh really! Well then Hi I'm Kalpi" Sam and Maya laughed while Pakhi barked "Don't you dare make fun of me! Now tell me whwre is Kalpi?" She tried to get into the room but Rags obstructed her way. "Stay where you are. Don't invade my privacy! I said earlier she must be in her room. Its 4601 go and check it." Rags fumed at her trespassing action and Pakhi went towards the said room.
Kalpi until now heard everything. She was way too scared because their plan deviated a bit. She was supposed to answer another set of question that was when Maya was going to ring her room's bell but now she doesnt know what to say!!!. The bell rung and Kalpi got all the more nervous. She tried to compose herself and opened the door. "Pakhi tum yahan?? And Mayu, Tammy, Rags what you all are doing here? "Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?" Pakhi almoat screamed and that was it.Kalpi lost her cool. She was at the receiving end for consecutively second day and that too without any fault. "Check your tone and voice lady" Kalpi said with anger. Rags who got bowled over by the mesmerizing beauty before him came back from his reverie. Sam and Maya were more than surprised. They have never ever seen Kalpi in furious form. She has always been that quiet, gentle and humble. But today she shed her old avatar and came out as a bomb. Pakhi was too numb to react. "You're looking very pretty." Rags complimented changing the entire scene. Kalpi got all the more confused but accepted the compliment and thanked him. "You were aupposed to be in 4602." Pakhi shot back. "Why?" "Coz thats your room!" "Since when? Tammy when did you give the room allotment responsibility to Pakhi?" Kalpi inquired innocently though her intentions were otherwise. They all controlled her laugh. "Shut up! I'm not the incharge." "Then probably you are not the right person to ask me where should I be here or in the other room." The fierceness quite evident in her voice. The trio were just looking at the scene. Nothing of this sort was planned but was far more interesting than they had imagined.
To make conditions worse for Pakhi the receptionist came ahead. "I told you Ma'am there is no mistake." Even before Palhi can say anything she went away. "Rags you opened this door in the morning. Didn't you?" "Nope you came to my room and asked for Kalpi. I had told then also but probably you didnt hear me properly" "No I had knocked this door only!" "Pakhi I am not deaf. If you would have knocked my room's door I would have woken up then." "Fine then lets see the CCTV" Rags, Kalpi and Sam gulped hard. This was not planned at all. Maya interrupted and told everyone to wait while she calls the wedding planner to come with 4th floors camera footage.
"Ma'am the cameras of this floor ain't working." The wedding planner informed them and also told that the management is working and it will get repaired soon. "So now Pakhi any more arguments?" Sammy asked. "I know you all have done this purposefully to insult me." Pakhi retorted. "Finally you got to know" "Raghav! You did all this!" "Yup I did; remember the time when because of you I was made a butt of jokes for everyone...its your time now to feel what its like to be at the receiving end. The only saving grace here is I didnt show you as a dumb girl rather a confused one." Pakhi fumed in anger and went away from there. The hotel staff was already looking at her amusingly and the remaining people will soon get to know from the four.
"C'mon lets go for breakfast." "You guys go ahead we will accompany you shortly." "ok come soon." The moment Samaya went from there Rags took Kalpi to an empty conference room. "Rags what is it?" "Well last night I took everything a lil ahead than I was supposed to take." "I didn't get you." "Kalpi we are best friends of the bride and groom! We are suppose to perform on something in their sangeet ceremony. It will look really rude if we don't come up with something so last night I just went to the hotel manager and asked for an empty sound proof space to rehearse on some song in the remaining days and put up a performance even if its average." "You seriously did this! I'm so happy you know last night I really wanted to ask you about the 'surprise' and was really angry on you but now No!!! I am way too happy lets just think something and give them a surprise!"
Sometimes you just have to teach someone a lesson in their own language. They dont understand things in a simpler way and you have to tackle them in the same way as they behave with you. Pakhi was continually teasing Kalpi. She didn't leave a single chance of mocking at her. When Rags got a chance to let her taste her own medicine he grabbed it with both the hands and brought Pakhi at the receiving end.
You should ignore people rather than getting into an argument but when they cross all limits yiu should stand up for yourself and make them show who you are and they cannot take you lightly. Kalpi too after tolerating Pakhi's nature gave her back and made her realise what she is!
