TV celebs on what makes them proud to be an Indian!

As today we are celebrating Independence day, so for our Independence day special we asked our Telly celebs what makes them proud to be an Indian. Well pretty sure there are many reasons to be a proud desi but lets see what makes our celebs proud. Read on to know what they shared...

Ashish Sharma: Currently seen on Colors show Rangrasiya as Rudra and also as a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, this Major Saab is most wanted for stealing young girls hearts. When asked what makes him a proud Indian, he had this to say,"Being able to live a life I want to and the way I want to makes me proud and a happy Indian."

Arushi Mehta: Charming and bubbly actress Arushi Mehta seen on Haunted nights and Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna shared,"I am born in a country which is so colourful with various religious, traditional and so many festivals. I am born in a place where dignity, respect and hospitality for people somehow still exists. And most important I am born in a country which has given birth to Indian cinema, music and sports. So I feel lucky that I am an Indian and I could somehow be a small part of Indian cinema. I am proud to be an Indian in so many ways."

Giaa Manek: The very pretty and cute Giaa Manek whose fans are awaiting her return on television once again also shared what makes her proud to be an Indian. She said,"I am simply proud of being an Indian and we should all be united to make our country peaceful, prosperous and liveable."

Roopal Tyagi: The very daring Gunjan of Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan ke played by talented actress Roopal shared her thoughts on what makes her proud, she said,"The fact that there is a want to improve, the fact that we are not content with what we have makes me proud and that's the most essential feeling to bring about a change. We have come a long way but we still have a long way to go."

Rachana Parulkar: The charming and talented Rachana last seen on Ek Mutthi Aasmaan and also the favourite of Twamily (That's what she calls her Twitter family) said,"I feel proud to be an Indian. If our fighters didn't fight for our rights back then we wouldn't be living this lavish life. Each human being needs to be respected and remembered. I am proud that my country is one of the most loved one."
