Life is to be lived, not controlled and humanity is won by continuing to play in the face of defeat, precisely what Kalpana has been doing since the day she was born, always playing in the face of defeat, and yet to win, but alas the former part of that quote is something she is yet to experienced, because her life has been controlled by every Tom, Dick and Harry who has come into her life and they claim they are doing it for her benefit but instead if has been to always benefit themselves. Take Raghav for example, he wants Kalpana not because Kalpana will be happy, but because he will be happy and likewise with Kalpana's mother, she wants Kalpana to do things her way so that she can continue to live in LalaLand with her daughter Pakhi, not because she truly wants to see her own flesh and blood succeed. And despite all of this, she continues to fight and play in the face of defeat.

Kalpana Vithal Jhadav has been severely criticised as of late, but see the above quote fits perfectly in reference to her. She is not a character that has been designed to please everyone (ie fans). WHY? Because the poor soul has been robotized to please one person(her mother)only till the day she dies.

This is what I was given as quote when I attended a conference one time: And I felt it was apt to use to depict the "relationship" of Kamla and Kalpana. Kamla is on a quest to ensure her daughter is turned into a stone hearted individual who will only think about fulfilling her dreams of living a luxury life whilst sacrificing her own happiness. WHY? Well because she believes, because she carried her in her womb for 9 months, she has every right to demand back those moments. She wants her to suffer each pain she endured whilst she was pregnant, in addition to each pain Kalpana has caused her by not drowning that day. She has invited the man who she claims to be worst than a molester to dinner, so she can flaunt their relationship in front of Kalpana, in the hope that Kalpana commits suicide. (Kamla Vithal Jadhav, you are truly proving to be a disgrace to the term mother, and I sincerely hope you acquire your dues ASAP! ) Mothers are ready to give their lives for their children, they would never allow their children to suffer, if they could prevent. They prefer being the wall that gets attacked by those thorns before it reaches their children. But in #EkMutthiAasman, we are being accustomed to a completely different definition to the word mother.
She persuaded Kalpana to stay behind and play happy family with the man who has been leaving no stone unturned to tarnish her daughter's image. WHY? Can a mother truly be this cruel? Kalpana has no idea what crap Raghav is doing behind her back, but see even if she finds out he is playing dosti dosti ka khel with Pakhi, she will not mind because Pakhi is her apne nah? And thats frightening. To know that a child has been robotized to such an extent that her heart has become always transparent to pain. She feels it, but she doesn't explore it because she is afraid if she does, her mother would be hurt. Since when has it become the responsibility of a child to ascertain the happiness of their parent when in reality their parents have never done anything to ensure that child's happiness? I am not saying children should not live life to please their parents, of course they should. But when one has a mother like Kamla, the child has every right to remain selfish till the day they die. A good mother is irreplaceable but a bad mother will remain unforgettable for their awesome work in destroying their children's life to such an extent that it ensures they continue to have a twisted adulthood till the day they die.
But what is Kamla truly doing?
I am very well acquainted with the term, what does not kill us makes us strong but surely that is a bit too much? Does she truly possess no brain? She knows Kalpana and Raghav consider their sindoor drama to be a real marriage, and have accepted each other as Parvati and Shiv (😆) so why invite him? Has she forgotten the hamla her husband ensured her daughter oups servant received after Raghav visited their chawl last time? She said, tell him I invited him, he will come! REALLY? You know he will come to eye Kalpana, so why put her in that situation? For me it all adds up to her wanting Kalpana to kill herself. I cannot think of another reason for her behavior. (this para has been added to give the above content a bit of humor albeit it probably didn't work😆)
(I am not a mother myself, so I have written the above based on what I have observed in my own life, so if anyone is offended or want to share a different view feel free to pen them down here.)

This is a brilliant interpretation of Kalpana's feeling for Raghav. I know a lot of us are upset with her forgiving him as easily as she did, but isn't that normal human behavior? We can all sit at home and scream and preach but in reality, its only when we have experienced certain situations in life that determines our attitude towards dealing with a particular situation? I am not happy with her forgiving him either and allowing him to walk all over her. But when I think of it from her perspective, I can totally understand why, she did forgive him that easily. She experienced love for the first time. She was made to feel beautiful for the first time in her life, he managed to understand all her weak spots and embarked on a journey of ensuring she feels special, and that is something that was so deeply felt by her, that it makes it difficult for her to dare think about moving on. I know "special" yeah right, is what you guys are thinking but think about it. He came back and told her he loved her, he made her understand why he did what he did. He keeps saving her despite being the one who ruined her. And his constant reminder by arriving unexpectedly where-ever she is, is not helping her move on. She was so cold towards him yesterday but when he left she was upset. But she has managed to ensure she has a change of demeanor towards him. He was baffled, because he was ready for some romantic moments, which will explode why he exploded when he went home.

We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.

You do not love someone because they are perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not. Raghav Singhania was never a perfect man, he had many flaws hidden in close closets and only the demeanor he wanted the the world to see, the world saw; until Kalpana Jadhav walked into his life and forced him to open those closed closets, and he had no choice but to oblige. The moment she met him, she knew he was different, she knew he was a man with a golden heart and that despite his rudeness towards her, there was something more lurking behind those stern eyes. And soon enough Raghav Singhania understood that darkness can never drive out darkness and Kalpana was his light to drive out his darkness.
The change in behaviour of Raghav Singhania began; he started his quest of acquiring the love of his life, and at every juncture, we the audiences were giving various emotions of frustrations, passion, love, lust and happiness. The man who hated even one minuscule of mess in his house, had no problem laying in grass in a dark. WHY? Because the woman he loves with all his heart assured him that her dupatta was enough to prevent his clothes from getting dirty. And he obliged...I mean heck he even ate an ice cream, that he claimed was unhygienic in the park, only because she had tasted it first. He wanted to repay her the favor of having drank his own left-over juice and to show her that her every fibre was his and his only.

It's risky falling in love but once you have taken that risk and lost the battle with your heart, then you have no choice but to bear it all because alas life is no walk in the park and that is something #RagNa are on the path of learning right now.

I know its evil of me of recapture those moments, but kya kare? Friday brought back all those amazing memories of RagNa and it forced me to recapture some of their amazing moments together!! Those were the days that had us grasping for air after their hotness. How I wish we could have them back because quite honestly none of the crap that have occurred have deterred me from RagNa, and friday's episode is a big reason why I am still in love with them.

Let me tell others what I got told: the makers are purposely giving us those RagNa scenes, so when they acquire an increase in rating, they will turn to the channel and say look RaKhi are working and you just needed to give us time, and we proved we know best etc etc etc!! This is their plan ie that of the makers of EMA currently!

Next week, there are a lot of RaKhi scenes coming up according to a side actor, so you're absolutely right, they are building the platform for RaKhi only; AND once that increase occurs, SR will be shown to ensure no-one will separate RaKhi!
