Maybe what u r trying to say is true to some extent. But I don't agree completely. Kalpi hasn't still forgotten her career. tell me one thing, if a person has a recent heartbreak, or has almost lost his love, or worst still, Kalpi knows that Pakhi never had anyright on Raghav, Raghav was always his, but still she has seemed to lost him, then will that girl's heart not pain, does she not have a right to shed tears r be sad for even a week or month? heartbreaks are not easy to deal with! Especially when that some one is Kalpi, who has nothing but love and understanding to give to all those whom she loves. She understands everyone's view point. But how many even tried to understand hers? It was Vitthal yes, who gave him the love a princess deserves, but even he was often shown to be weak in front of Kamla. Could he ever stop Kamla from giving away to Pakhi what always belonged to Kalpi first? Kamla's time, or pen, or anything, or love? No, a few rants aside, he could not do anything. Kalpi always sacrificed everything for her parents, and Pakhi's love. But now,she finally found some one, with whom she feels complete and at peace with herself. But that too was snatched away from her!
The thing is, Kamla telling Kalpi to forget Raghav, has all the wrong reasons. It maybe because she doesn't want Kalpi being second, but its more because she feels Pakhi deserves Raghav more now. Her whole focus is wrong again. So, how and why can Kalpi give away or sacrifice the one thing which she earned for herself, Raghav's love, Raghav. which was never Pakhi's in the first place!
you know, when a person is heartbroken or in pain, he or she hardly is in her/his own rational senses! This is what is happening with Kalpi. But still, she managed to maintain a balance between her heart, her love and the rational thing. asking Raghav that they'll not meet for one year! She even went to give an interview. She is trying to live her present happily. But that doesn't mean she'll forget all the love, all the pain, and all her rights, so easily! I see nothing wrong! I will be happy if both the Ragna track and Kalpi going for her career r shown simultaneously.
The way I see it, her character is not being ruined, in fact for the first time she is standing up for her rights, for herself, not going for what others' expect from her. n for this, she hasn't till now sacrificed her self-respect, or her career! Rest, don't know hoe future tracks r shown. But I never wanted Kalpi to be traditional sacrificing heroine!
