I agree too. I am baffled about this big concern on Kalpi's personal life and feelings. My only explanation is that she is worrying that it may get in the way of ruining the success she so badly wants through Kalpi. She is worried that Kalpi's road to success may be ruined by a Rich boy.

So true, I find it a betrayal if a Mother publicly debate about her child. Normal Mothers will not let anyone know your business, shield you from even your Dad. Not Kamla Ma. She is too busy worrying about what she must get out of Kalpi and never for the girl's happiness. the day she saved Paakhi from drowning and not Kalpi, I saw her true colours. I don't know how else to view Kamla.

It is even more annoying to see her call Paakhi about Kalpi all the time. Does she care to remember that they are not even that close? I think it is somewhat a betrayal to have a Mother calling her other assumed daughter inquiring about her real daughter's personal business. Kamla does not know boundaries. What to expect she never did care about Kalpi's feelings about Paakhi or anything for that matter.

Yes definitely, If my mother calls someone else to find out about me without my knowledge, I would be so upset!!!

For the first time Kalpi is starting to being happy, her mother has all the concerns for her but whenKalpi was hurt many times by her behaviour, she did not care!😡😡

I start watching the show when Kalpi started working at Raghav's I do not about earlier story. I understand a little bit from current track!

Well they did not show what is was like in the hostel, but based on Kalpi's behaviour towards Kamla post-hostel, she clearly did not get enough of Kamla's attention. When I saw how Kamla was in the beginning towards Kalpi and Paakhi, I almost stopped watching the show. It is just that it is so interesting why I continue. When Kamla and family was seeing Kalpi off in a bus to the hostel, the girls almost drowned in some type of river when they did a small stop. Of course it was Paakhi who insisted they went into the water, back then Paakhi was mischievous, stubborn and spoilt. When Kamla realised what was happening she went into the water and saved Paakhi, even though she knew Kalpi could not swim and Paakhi could. She did not remember anything about Kalpi, when she was making big fuss over Paakhi, until Paakhi herself asked about Kalpi, that is when Kamla remembered she had a real daughter.
