She lives in her own world and needs a reality check

BUT

We should not forget that her childhood is no less traumatic. Every step of the way she comes to face new ugly realities about her family. She always knew that her parents don't car for her much. Not the parent kinda love. She yearns for her family's love just like Kalpi does. So when she sees some indication from Raghav, she is bound to make assumptions. He may not have prompted her lately, but he did that very clearly till the party day. And has given her no reason to break that illusion for her. Now she just assumes that anything he does is to show her that he loves and cares for her. It's her safe haven.

Thoughts?

Yeah, the thought you just shared with us is correct on someway. Her life was really harsh on her right from her childhood. The way her parents were only after money and no one even cared to ask her if she okay or needed anything. Kamala was the only one who supported her and really cared for her. And all of a sudden Raghav came, who started to defend her and save her though it was just for his revenge. She got the wrong impression of him and started thinking that she loved her. I really think its just her infatuation but I may be wrong too.

Kalpi too had a really bad childhood full of struggles and hardships. She felt left out when she had to face the harsh reality that Paakhi was the source of attention and her mother cared for her more than her own blood. I know she is more sensible then Paakhi to know the difference between love and mere infatuation.

I guess you all remember that Paakhi could not even bear to talk with Raghav or even see him right from their childhood. And now all of a sudden her feelings have changed and she loves him. That's really confusing! Isn't it? She is desperately in need of a reality check. She needs to come out from her fantasy world and face the truth. Raghav's eyes speaks volumes that he is madly and completely in love with Kalpi and everyone can see it except Paakhi of course. We don't need to hate her character! She's just doing what a obsessed girl do. We can bear her character somehow. I can shout out at the top of my voice that I don't hate her, its just that I feel she acts really dumb sometimes.
