The episode starts with Kalpana trying to explain to Kamla that she can't fail and to trust her to which Kamla responds saying that how can she trust that Kalpi can bribe and tell lies to her mother and family. kamla breaks down in tears. Kalpi is really sad. Vitthal and Pakiya come rushing downstairs and ask Kamla what happened. Kamla informs him in tears that Kalpi has grown up so much that she was bribing someone just to pass.
Vitthal is shocked to hear this and asks Kalpi. Kalpi tries to explain but Kamla shuts her. Kamla tells him that Kalpi even sold the laptop Vitthal bought for her so that she could pay to pass.
Kamla tells Vitthal that their dreams and aspirations about Kalpi have all shattered.

Kamla tells Kalpi that this act of hers has broken her down totally. She told her that her dream that Kalpi would become a 'memsaab' some day, has become destroyed because of this.
Kamla tells her that after this no maid will ever see such a dream because Kalpi has proved that the right to dream doesn't belong to such families.
She tells her that she has failed as a mother and her upbringing has failed, her courage her hopes have failed.

Kalpi tries to stop her but Kamla tells her never to speak to her again and leaves the place. Kamla remembers the moments when Kalpi used to top as a kid and about all her memories of dreaming that her daughter would be a 'memsaab'.

Here Manda tai comes to Kalpi and insults her saying that she has proven that she isn't like Kamla at all.
All the chawl people tell her that she was the centre of the hopes of everyone in the chawl and she has shattered their hopes as well. Everyone leaves. Paakhi runs upstairs to handle her Kamla 'maa'. She asks Kamla to open the door but in vain.

Pakiya comes to Kalpi asking her why she did such a thing and that why didn't she for once think of the dreams of their dad and mom. Kalpi sees Vithal sitting and crying and is heartbroken.
Paakhi here is asking Kamla to open the door once but she doesn't listen and Paakhi leaves.

Paakhi comes and scolds Kalpi for breaking her mother's heart. She tells her that she always used to dream that her dad would also love her the same way Vitthal loved Kalpi but the way she paid for their love is unimaginable and disappointing.

Kalpi comes to Vitthal and tries to explain herself to him. She tells him that though her way was wrong but her motive wasn't and that she believes she hasn't failed and there's some mistake and that she did all this to fulfill her 'aai' dreams. She explains him what had happened and that she used this way because she had no option.

Vitthal consoles Kalpi and wipes her tears and says that one has to forgive hundreds of mistakes of their kids. He tells her that her mother had struggled a lot to fulfill Kalpi's studies and her dreams. Vitthal joins hands in front of Kalpi saying that this time he has given up and that he doesn't have the courage anymore. He tells Kalpi to tell Kamla and talk to her and prove herself right. He tells her that she is her mother and both of them need each other. She encourages her to prove herself right in front of Kamla.

Kalpi tries to speak to Kamla asking her to open the door and listen to her once. Kamla finally agrees and opens the doors. Kalpi tries to talk to her , Kamla tells her that she knows what she wants to say. Kalpi tells her that she was going to take those additional sheets and write again, for which she gave the guy money. Kamla tells her that this isn't the first time that whatever they didn for Kalpi hasn't been easy for them as well but they never took the wrong path and never gave up the path of truth and that's what she felt Kalpi is like and that is why seeing her do such a wrong thing has hurt more than ever.
She asks her not to let her lead a lie of lies and never to speak to her again.

Here Paakhi is crying and her grandmother tries to console her. Neetu comes and says that Kamla didn't say that she won't speak to Paakhi ever, then why is she cancelling the party. This makes her wonder how her mom knows that Kamla isn't speaking to Kalpi anymore.
Neetu tells her that Shyamala bai told her. Paakhi asks Neetu if she had any involvement in this and if it was her plan to take revenge from Kamla.
Neetu tells her that she had an involvement in the failing of Kalpi.

Precap : Kalpi is asking Kamla for one more chance and the entry of Vitthal's mother is shown.
