Just news from Indian Television Portal...Mahabharat was stopped because of Searching of lead actress Draupadi but now PIYALI MUNSHI is confirmed for role of Draupadi.

She was earlier in Jay Jag Janani Maa Durga...as Lead Maa Durga on Colors.

Saheer Sheikh have also confirmed on Twitter & called that they have just shoot another promo.

Now EHMMBH To end after 505 Episodes on 30Th August,2013.

Kushal had told that their journey will be going to end in August ending.

Piyali or Ekta for Draupadi

It's over four months now that the producers of Mahabharat are looking for a suitable face to play Draupadi. The latest is that two actress Piyali Munshi and Ekta Kaul are in close contention. Sources say that both have given look tests and it's a matter of finalising one of them with the scales heavily tipping towards Piyali. She had earlier played the title role in Jai Janani Maa Durga. Piyali confirmed that she had been approached and would love to play the role, but nothing has been finalised. She is currently shooting for a 3D film on Lord Shiva in which she is playing both Sati and Parvati. Ekta, who was last seen in Rab Se Sona Ishq also confirmed she has been offered the role and "talks are on". The serial is likely to go on air from September 2.

The TRPs will be coming out in the following weeks after a month's break so I'm hoping there will be an increase in them resulting in Star Plus to reconsider their decision. The article itself states that there is no confirmation as of yet about Mahabhartah's female lead therefore there is no point getting over concerned about this. Plus, there has been no official confirmation from the leads or the producer of EHM about the last episode of our show, hence until the officials don't announce the news we cannot take these dates or buzz seriously.
