Ok, so Im not blaming the actors for the show ending, ofcourse like every other time Sid Sir is blaming the actors for whatever is going wrong.

But generally Im curious:

Ok, so Im not trying to bash, but Iv always failed to understand why is playing a parent such a big deal for Indian dramas? All the actors always have such an issue with it. I dont mean to sound rude but, I find it very weird. Im not saying based on tracks or this show ending or anything. Its just a general statement. Just I dont see this being an issue anywhere else wether its american television or pakistani television. Iv heard this same issue happens in countless India soaps, arent actors supposed to be open to playing all kinds of roles?

Please share your views or correct me if Im wrong. And again Im not trying to bash.

Though i agree with u that playing the role of parents shudnt be a great deal but then in India,as far as I have seen from the telly shows,its like limiting ur career.
I dont know how to express myself but somewhere or the other this role does have an impact on an act it's career in regards to the roles they r offered in the future.
There r many examples for this.
For instance, Kumkum.Juhi Parmar played a mother's role very early in her career and after tht she didnt appear as a lead in any show.
Then there is Hiten Tejwani who though young played a father's role and after that he hasn't appeared in the serials regarding a love story.
There r many more examples,though i dont want to go in much detail and i m not even sure if what i m saying makes any sense to u or not.
Just expressed my point of view on it. :)

i totally agree with u if u r actor u should play evry role
And now-e-days people who plays mum r actually younger to the person who is playing their son/daughter
Dissappointed with kushal and with nia too if she said no

Though I agree your post..

But Just think both actresses are of of same ages & one is playing parent role..It can be a little weird and limits further career chances to get any lead.

Sir sid is blaming others when he didn't find any other reason!

I totally understand ur point.

I hv seen many american as well as Indian shows but the parenting roles were never a problem in American shows.

But television industry of India as such mentality that if u play a parent role...then ur options become very limited to play other roles in future. I hv seen actors like Shweta Tiwari from kasauti, Hussain from kumkum and many others who have played parents, now mostly scene as parents in other serials too.

In case of the actors of EHMMBH, they hv been in this television industry for abt 4-5 yrs and they are very young and so they want to explore more before taking up parenting roles.

It is their career, so they have rights to chose which roles they want to play in what period of their career. And mostly importantly if they feel comfortable in skin of playing that character.

I get what u guys are saying. I mean I don't really watch Indian television. But this isn't the first time Iv heard actors rather quit then play parents.

I watch more American and Pakistani tv and u have young young actors playing leads and parents

I don't know what the stigma is but there is one, but it doesn't work for everyone.

American shows don't have it as much as it is seen a role for that show, it would be natural as a show progress such as this one. Kids would actually work now, they are settled and etc. Its not like other non Indian show where they are showing careers and a working life it always family based so kids would work. But for somer eason Indidan shows can't have little babies on set. Without leaping forwards. Why can't they we a pregnancy and birth and then chn grow. In Ameican shows they have twins who play chn and they stay with the show for the entire time. You see that child grow up as they would in the show.

I never Wanted Them to play Evn My Di Was Happy Dey Did'nt agreed To paly As We Both Are very much Addicted To Thsi Show My Di said It wil Lost It's charm!
