heya guys...This one is a Diwali spl. It may not digest well with some, so please dont throw chappals etc..

furthermore Its a quick one..so there may be some mistakes

The Night Of Experiment


'Main poori ganga ka paani sukha dunga...agar fir se kisi ne mujhe Joker
kaha toh main us ki duniya hila dungaaa' shouted the man on the most
crowded street of Hrishikesh. People just Ignored him as if it was the most
normal thing on earth to say

'Di yeh aadmi itna chilla kyu raha hai..pagal kar dega ek din logon ko' asked
Maanvi to jeevika as they were walking from Ghat.

'Mannu yeh wahi Drunkard hai Jo hamare School ke aagre roz tamasha karta tha'
told Jeevika.

'toh aapne mujhe kabhi Bataya kyu nahi...' asked Maanvi angrily
Jeevika gave her a ' its obvious' sort of look as they walked back home.



It was Jeevika's first Diwali after marraige..So she alongwith Viren & all
Vadheras were in Hrishikesh at Choudharies's Inviation for Celebrating pre
Diwali fests.
As they were to return on Diwali morning itself, Maanvi wanted to make these
2 days as special as she could for her di...However No plan of Manvi Jeevika
choudhary ever goes smooth.

Maanvi wasnt paying any attention to preparations going on around her for
Dhanteras puja...
J- mannu...Mannnu
M- haan di..
J- dhyaan kahaan hai tera !
M- wo di main ye soch rahi thi Ke kya sach me Alchohol me nasha hota hai
yaa insaan khud hi aisi harkatein karta hai..I mean wo ghaat ke pas...

J- Zyaada toh koe bhi cheez achi nahi hoti..Aur wo banda toh hai bhi
badtameez. mannu tu uske bare me zyada mat soch..

M - hmmm..par di Try to karna chahiye na, ke actually problem hoti kis cheez
me hai...alchohol me yaa human mind me
J ( shocked)- Mannnu...matlab kya hai tera. No way !!
M- di plzzz... thodi aap bhi le lena
J ( shaking her head )- Mannu...neither will I accompany you nor will I
allow you !! final !!

& she went away muttering sth like Jaane kya kya sochti rehti hai ye ladki..

Maanvi saw her di going & smiled mischieviously...
M- di..this Diwali no one is gonna stop me from trying this experiment.
Maan na toh apko padega !!


Everyone was busy chatting or doing some work when Maanvi got hold of Dabbu..

M- Dabbe mera bhai...
D- dii...debinder singh Choudhary naam hai Mera
M - haan bas bas ...ab baat sun
whispers sth in his ear...

D- kyaaa bol rahe ho di...nahi kisi ne dekh liya toh meri band baj jayegi !!
M- arre dabbe koe nai dekhega...aur bacha thode hi hai ab tu. Waise bhi main
koe bevdi toh hun nahi..mujhe bahut hi noble purpose ke liye chahiye !

Aur waise bhi Aaj jitni bhi mithayian bani hain, main soch rahi thi unme se
bahut sari tere liye alag se nikal kar rakh dun...par tujhe nahi chahiye toh
...


D- uhhh...theeek hai . par time par milna mujhe waha !!
M- done !!


6 PM in Evening..


Dabbu climbs from the back of House & Maanvi pulls him Up from the roof..

M- kaam hua...
D - arre di mera koe kaam adhura nahi hota. ye lo
Hands her a bottle of Cold drink

vodka hai isme...kuch mix nahi kiya hai, pani vagerah mila lena

M- shaabash dabbe..aj tune mere Bhai hone ka pakka proof de diya.
Both goes to JM's room & places the bottle on table...

D- waise di jab ap pilo ..uske bad mujhe bhi batana exp. ke results !
saying this he goes down !!

Maanvi opens the bottle & thinks of having some snacks...but deicided
otherwise & takes a sip..
'hell its poison...uggh...'

She knew she wont be able to drink like this..so she took a deep breath
& gulped it down stopping only after finishing it !

For a moment it seemed all is well..But then her head was spinning. She lied
down on bed & closed her eyes tightly...
She stayed there like for 20 minutes when Jeevika came looking for her..

' Mannu chal taiyyar hoja..fir puja bhi toh hai...

M- uhh puja...kaun pooja !!
J- Mannu..mazaak ka time nahi hai, chal jaldi taiyar hoja verna Dadaji aur
beeji kya kahenge...

M( singing)- kuch toh log kahenge...logon ka kaam hai kehna !! kya di baitho
naa ( pulls her down ) jab se aaye ho do minute baat tak nahi ki hai!!

J- kya bol rahi hai mannu..tujhse hi toh bat kar rahi thi poora din ! chal ab
taiyaar nai hona..

M ( getting excited )- kahaan chalenge...long drive par ??

J( now looking properly at her)- mannu kaisi baate kar rahi hai aur ye teri
aankhon ko kya hua..

M (airily ) - aankhon ko kya hona hai...mere mast mast do nain...
J- shh..itni zor se kyu chilla rahi hai, mannu ho kya gaya hai tujhe..aur
wait...ye smell kaha se aa rai hai

She looks around..lifts up the cold drink bottle & smells it.. No Wayy, its
not cold drink...

J- mannnuuu...Manaa kiya tha na maine tujhe, fir bhi...

M- arre di...Its for a noble purpose, dabbu se kehkar apke liye bhi mangwau!!

J- Noble ki bachi...toh dono ne milkar banaya tha plan !!!! Use toh main
Baad me dekhungi ,abhi tera kya karu...


She took a deep breath...thought for a while & then said
' Mannu meri baat sun...tu yahi aaram kar. Main puja main jaa rahi hun
tu yaha se kahi bahar mat jaana...thik hai..plz mannu'

'arre di ab aap ne keh diya toh kahiin nahi jaungi, aap jao mast ekdum
puja mein...main bhi chalun?

nahii..tujhe yahi rukna hai...thik hai ??

Okaayy di..


Jeevika went down to pooja & made excuse for maanvi that she wasnt feeling
well but is okay now & sleeping..


Just when the puja was about to complete..Jeevika saw that big grin of Manvi
who was coming down to stairs...Her heart skipped a bit but then she
signalled Maanvi to go back who was calling her.

Finally Maanvi went inside. Jeevika hurridely got done with & convinced
everyone to go to sleep as she will take care of Manvi..

She went upstairs only to find Maanvi dragging her towards the roof..
she was singing

' Abhi Zinda Hun toh Jee lene do...Bhari Barsaat me pee lene do '

J- mannu chup..aur abhi barsat nai ho rahi !!
M- toh fir lao na...di mujhe barish chahiye abhi !!!!


Just when Jeevika was about to answer Dj came there

Dj- Maanvi beta ab kaisi tabiyat hai tumhari

J ( before maanvi)- thik hai dada jee , wo uski khuli hawa me baithne ko man
tha toh ham upar aa gaye !

Dj- acha kiya..Main chalkar so jata hun. good nite
M- happy holi dada jee

J ( forcing a smile)- kya maanvi hamesha mazak karti rehti hai..
good nyt dada jee
dj went Downstairs admiring Maanvi's sense of humor even when she isnt feeling well


Maanvi was in full mood...Even though Jeevika was very angry, Her antics were
strangely amusing her. slowly a smile crept on her face When Manvi said sth
about stealing neighbour's car. She knew she cant risk sleeping before Manvi,
so she just sat there thinking If Lemon Juice will be better or not.

Just then a song Played somewhere on DJ & Jeevika couldnt control a laugh.
She looked at Maanvi, who was dancing now & thought How apt the song was
on them

She started humming alongwith..

Jeevika came back to her senses only when She heard someone coming upstairs...she stopped singing herself & stopped Maanvi who was literally running on the roof...

Just then Viren entered on roof
V- arre jeevika, saali sahiba soye nahi abhi tak , 11 baj rahe hain !! aur Maanvi tumhari tabiyat kaisi hai
M- am superb jeeju, you tell yourself ? Ap chandigarh se kab aaye

Before Viren could Analyse anything
J- Viren jee Maanvi ko Khuli Hawa mein baithna tha, aur ab tabiyat kafi thik hai, isliye mazak sujh rahe hain isko

V- acha toh ye baat hai...
Just as he was about to sit, Jeevika stopped him

J- kya aap bhi, ham dono behno ko baate karne dijiye ! parso toh jaana hai , kal taiyario se hi fursat nahi milegi...hame Baat karni hai...bas aap jaiye
& started literally pushing him

V- thik hai bhai...jaata hun ...
& went smiling at how unpredictable his wife can get at sometimes

& Jeevika stood there imaging Viren's reaction of she ever decides to tell him & started laughing..


Finally after sometimes she convinced Maanvi to go to bed & made her some lemon juice. Finally She ended Throwing up. Relieved & completely spent She fell asleep Besides Jeevika Muttering random stuff & even admitting How much shattered she was after her Di's marraige.

Jeevika listened silently & sleep caught on both in a while...


Needless to Say Next Morning was maanvi & Dabbu's strict class after which Both were forgiven by Jeevika. Maanvi who pretty much remembered everything of last night was embarrased but was not surprised to see her sister smiling at few places while scolding her. Afteral she was the one to sing Dope shope & push her husband out of their privacy...

& Well The Result of Diwali Experiment is That Manvi Had not touched alchohal after that night & Dabbu dont even look at the liquor shop...

HAHAHAHA This is so funny! Just WOW- You hit bull's eye while writing Manvi's character & her dialogues- Bang On! I could easily imagine Mannu doing this sort of thing and Dabbu ofcourse playing part in it for his selfish reasons! And what timing dude, I wrote Jeeman OS same time as you but mine is NOTHING like this!! Awesome treat! Thank You! Happy Diwali, Priya :)

Had a HUUUGE smile on my face Priya! I imagined everything...Manu's antics, dialogues, Dabbu ki cuteness and Di ki expressions seeing her Manu like this. It had the flavour of my old EHMMBH throughout <3 Loved it.

Dope shope song... though i dnt like the song but dance bohat kiya tha apni frnd k sangeet pe😆...But Shratta song was going much well with situation, so i played that song while reading..
