Hey guys im not really active on this forum but i love EHM since the beginning and i decided to post this os. this is my first os on this forum hope you like it 😳
Manvi walked down the empty hallway thinking back to this morning's doctors appointment and she still couldn't believe it. Virat had tried to get her to come home with him but she couldn't she needed time alone to prepare herself mentally. She thought of everyone important in her life, Beeji, Chachi Chacha, Dabbu, everyone in Virat's family even Virat's guitar which he claims is his first love, Virat, and finally Di. Taking in a shaky breath she felt the tears she had been keeping in for so long bursting to make their way out. Walking out towards the garden she sat by the pond and took deep breaths in wishing she could go to the ganga ghat in Hrishikesh.
"Mama Papa," Manvi said her voice breaking, "Waise toh I would rather be at Hrishikesh but since I"m in chandigar this will do." She said not for once losing her charming personality.
"Aaj jo kuch bhi hua kya woh sach hai?" She asked them looking into the pond.
"After so long this?" She asked them breaking down into tears. "How?" she asked smiling with tears dripping down her face. Not being able to control her emotions she cried, harder then ever, letting out all of her fear, her happiness, her sadness, her anger, and finally now her relief.
Virat had followed Manvi to the garden not wanting her to be alone. He had already called his Bhai bhabhi and told them that they would be home in a little while. He stopped when he saw Manvi kneel down by the pond. He watched as her tears flew down her face remembering the time when he broke down after hearing about her cancer. He watched the change of emotions on her face finally coming to relief and he smiled not being able to stop his own tears. After a long hard year of emotional ups and downs things were coming to and end. Smiling at his fiance he walked down to the pond and sat next to her.
"Partner what are you doing here." Manvi asked not wanting him to see her like this.
Instead of answering Virat just hugged Manvi pulling her into a tight protective hug. "I know." he said. These two words meant everything to Manvi. These two words showed how much he understood her, how he understood everything about her, her pain her happiness.
Sobbing Manvi managed to say, "Virat it's." but she couldn't finish her sentence.
Virat pulled back and wiped Manvi's tears, "It's over Manvi, it's over." he said smiling.
"I'm going to be okay." She said smiling not believing that after doctors decided that she only had two years to live they were able to cure her completely.
"I'm done with chemotherapy, I'm done with the pain in my body, I'm done with living in fear wondering if I'll live another day, I'm done wondering if I'll live to see Di's baby to see our marriage happen, I'm done with this cancer." She sobbed harder into his chest letting out all the frustration she felt in the past year.
"Mama Papa aapki beti bilkul thik hai." Virat said to the pond. "She's going to be okay, she's going to live a long life with me with her Di." he said feeling so happy that the love of his life was alright.
"Virat I'm okay, Virat I'm just," Manvi couldn't form her sentence.
"I know." Virat said again hugging her tightly. These two words showed the battle these two faced in the past year, the battle they emerged victorious in. These two words showed that Virat was perfect for Manvi he could understand anything she couldn't say. These two words showed that Manvi loved and trusted Virat because these two words could be interpreted by her. These two words showed the relief they both felt, the relief in knowing that they were going to live a long happy life together that will now never be harmed by anything God can throw at them. These two words produced the essence of Virman, the couple that withstood the depths of cancer and emerged as victors who now had their entire life to live together.
