if they change the entire story then the cast should be different not the same cast playing diff character

That's the difference between movies and shows.

Movies at best run for 3 hours. Much is left to explore in the next movie.

3 hours for shows means six episodes. Its one week ration for show. Its almost nothing here. The show has to run for at least 1 year. The story most of the time is haphazardly brought to an end. So, if a continuation is made it comes with large size bloopers.

Here the story is about personal vengeance. TO make another season( continuation) the Goenkas have to come out of the prison. I don't appreciate that because it questions our judiciary. All three or at least the men should be hanged as per law. Therefore I am asking for a new story line.

If the first season itself was not allowed to continue for even 2 more months then how can anyone expect season 2?😆

I would love to see a season 2 but not with different characters or actors. I want seasons just like Western shows where they do not always take leap or change cast.

I do want a different writer and channel though!

That said, a show like EHT is not for desi audience which has typical mindset of "heroine" or "hero" being goody goody and winning easily, all the time and cannot handle grey characters, dark and grim reality of society. There is a reason why Bhandarkar and RGV movies (even brilliant one like Satya) flopped. Desi audience has no tolerance for hard stuff.

So it is better that channels and PH return to fluffy shows only.

I love Simone, Vatsal, Ayub, Bhupinder, Kishwer but I would neither like them to get typecast as villains or do typical fluffy stuff. As a viewer I prefer Sakshi, Rajnath anyday over Heena and Jogi Thakur type weepy unidimensional characters.

Given Simone and Bhupinder's calibre they ought to be in a niche series like 24. They have done enough soaps IMO. Now they should be even more selective with their work and only move a notch higher in their craft.
