😊hi everyone,

[thnx shruthi for encoraging me to do this:-)]

only 2 weeks are left for the show to end.yet so much untold/not revealed.yes,i know it is a thriller show but it was quite dark.i didn't follow the show from the start, only ayub khan, sanjeeda and bhupinder singh[from madhubala] were familiar faces.the durga/nitya mystery and how dev would know it was what caught my attention.

the cvs really brought a beautiful concept of dev-nitya/durga love story.but didn't do much justice to it,esp.from durga/nitya's side.her feelings were never shown clearly.yes,it was shown that she cares, and still cares for dev.but not anything more than that.[dunno if its the script problem, but i always felt sanjeeda is not as involved as bhunesh in the scenes, yet she is loads better than aditi.]

on the other hand, dev's intense feelings and emotions were more clearly shown.the apprehension of a shy boy to express his feelings to his childhood friend, his longing for nitya, his utter joy on finding out durga is nitya, his self talk in car on the way back[ many found it funny, but it was quite honest and touching],his not forcing nitya to accept her identity and so on.all showed his true love.and for me,atlleast, bhuvnesh nailed it perfectly👏.he brought a positive light in the show.i loved his bg music.[dev is called 'dheela'',devD and what not.still,i feel its more the script error than the actor.the other day,my friends were saying they never really noticed dev in the beginning but after surfing through EHT forum, they started watching him with keen interest.they used to say,'bechara dev' after seeing posts dedicated to devD😉]

maybe
the cvs dont know there are many people out there who like devga a lot and would like to watch more of them on-screen.with few weeks left,i dont have much expectation from them for proper, good devga scenes, much more could have been explored.nevertheless, expecting a happy ending with devga.

SN:on an entirely diff. note, can somebody explain what was the real durga thakur's story?any guesses??

do share ur views everyone.
ratna.

ps:just watched dev durga's dinner date scene on youtube.😳it was superb.the way dev makes durga smile, kya baat hai.really liked it a lot.

note 2:thnx varsha for replying.but 213 views and a single reply.where did everyone go???????nobody likes dev-durga?

@ratna you clearly explained the problem of Devga. That is exactly the reason it never lived upto the expectations. In other words the pain was not clearly shown. I could understand the muteness in Durga. Because she never showed any emotions openly. Because she treated emotions as her weakness. She loves Dev and she loves him a lot. That scene in which she cries alone after telling him there is more to her relationship with Aakash was that evidence.
Coming to Dev it was not only script problem Bhuvnesh did had problem in emotional scene. He couldn't nail some scenes. See the pain of losing Nithya dint come out intensely in many scenes. His alone moments, his musings which should have driven the romantic in me to run for tissue paper well it didn't happen. Actually his pain on lost love should have made the audience want to see the lovers united at any cost. Because as far as story is concerned it is Durga's war and Dev's love. So the softer feelings had to come from him strongly and intensely which Bhuvnesh could have done better according to me.
But yes I did love that car scene where he thinks all the FBs and calls himself bewakoof he didn't understand her.
And I am expecting a full blown emotional scene between them. EHT cannot close without that. And I am expecting it soon. Today, tomorrow or latest by Wed.

Hello ratna
I loved your take devga journey , but i still have rants .

Dev did bring positivity to the show , but most of the times hindered durga's progress .

Dev had solid scenes where he could emoted quite well , but he failed to do so . The mathur-dev scene , i expected dev's emotional outburst but he gave a tenga ...he had the same stolid expressions ..its the actor's problem here and not the script .

Durga on the other hand too is wooden when it comes to her scenes with dev . I see no emotions from her side too . By emotions, i mean she is not expressing her anguish and pain she feels by keeping him away .

I dont know why i feel like this but it must the level of comfortability b/w them is quite low and hence we dont see the emotion which can make us feel they truly belong to each other .

The thing is even though they are meant to be the romantic lead , i dont see them convincing to the audience .

We need to have emotions outburst by both the actors and not just blame one .
