I have only one question reading this to SP. Why SP why. I had resigned to the show ending but was hoping against hope it will run through till Jan 3rd. Now not even till Dec 27th. What wrong did EHT do to deserve this.

EHT gave 2 strong characters in Sakshi Goenka and Durga Thakur both enacted extremely well by Simone Singh and Sanjeeda Sheikh.

EHT got awards in almost all award functions and for the past 1 month it is one of the top 10 shows across GECs

The comment section in SP site shows how much people want to watch the show. Requests are there for repeats and people are begging to extend the show to 2-3 months.

I don't know what can be done as I guess the channel has taken the decision, but still EHT deserved much better things.

I want to congratulate all actors Ayub Khan, Vatsal Seth, Teena Chopra, Bhuvanesh Mann, Mihir Misra, Bhupinder Singh and Amit Behl all of whom has given me a good entertaining time and characters to remember. Wishing you all the very best for your future projects.

I give up.

There's no point in whining over something that we don't get.

I'll just enjoy the show for another month and then forget.

I'm fed up with criticizing SP. when all criticism is going to fall on deaf ears, whats the use?

Even if we bang our head against the wall, SP is not going to listen.

So just let it go!

I don't care anymore.

script was not worthless.. it has a good script, good actors, good awards..

they could change the timings of the show naa.. y remove it all together...

that saathiya, yeh rishta kya kehlata hai... such a meaningless crap.. they can remove that one... they have been running since ages..

wonder who watches them...

why EHT??? ... i am not attached to the show... but feel sad.. that a show with good concept does not survive in indian channels... that is pathetic fact...

I am done with ranting on Star Plus! Even left comments on their social network pages and mailed them.

I see fans are trending #SaveEHT on Twitter. Even the cast is helping them trend it which means the team is also not happy with this abrupt decision of the channel.😕

This is clearly unfair on part of Star Plus. They had 1 year contract. Why not honour it? Why making a fuss over just 3 more months?😲

Ek Hasina Thi was given a raw deal. They had stopped its promotions since last 4 months. No promos, no FB updates, nothing. Still it was doing well. Not no.1 but atleast in top 10 overall. And top 5 on channel despite competition from JA, BV, DKDM. It is no. 1 in UK.

It is popular online and has fan clubs for each character, even parody accounts for villains as well.

Real life popularity is there as Sakshi and Durga dresses and jewellery, Shaurya ringtone and whistle are all popular. All actors got new ads also. Aamir and Sanjeeda for a home loans company, Simone and Sanjeeda for Meena Bazaar, Bhuvnesh for a life insurance policy.

So how is it such a failure for SP that they just want to end it?

I will miss this show. I will miss the potential it had and all possibilities of story it threw up.

I will feel bad about the rushed end. Infact I do watch episodes with a sinking feeling these days.

I congratulate the cast for giving their best. Especially Simone, Sanjeeda, Ayub and Bhupinder Singh. Even that guy playing Karan was apt for that good for nothing guy role.

I am going to miss them all.

I will miss this forum also. For all issues, it was always a very open forum with different exchanges on characters and their behaviour. The fun posts, analysis, symbolism, debates etc will all be missed.

It is sad.

Is it possible that there was a complaint against EHT?

Because of its risque theme and explicit acts of characters?

Remember there was an article in a national daily listing it among shows that should be taken off air?

Is it a reason that SP in such a hurry to take it off air?

By that logic Doli Armano ki should be stopped airing immediately because the male lead was reportedly said to have fallen ill after the wife beating scene he was made to do. Also, he expressed displeasure over too much portrayal of crime against women in the show in a media conference.

They are taking it off air because they cannot think anything beyond romance. There was hardly any scope for romance in this show. The forced Dev but it didn't help the show at all.Look the show replacing EHT. A typical romantic, brainless and useless story.

im am in love with this drama serial...we are the viewers and im sure there are others there that agree...the serial started with such a strong and good episode...why are they ending it soo soon...I love watching the serial everyday it leaves with a cliffhanger wanting to know more but have to wait till the next day...this is the only one serial I watch on the show after saraswatichandra ended that too was a rocking serial...I just hope with all the comments from everybody that they take it to notice and don't end the serial...saathiya is such a boring serial why cant they just end that its just dragging on...why end just a good show like Ek Hasina Thi...really am disheartened that its not carrying on and moving forward!

The question is indeed WHY ??

WHY promote and promise something to viewers that you have no intention to fulfill ?

The show started with a different idea and strong women characters portrayed brilliantly by Simone Singh and Sanjeeda Sheik.

And to take a show with so many questions left to be answered instead end it before it's time by leaving the audience frustrated and upset with a hodgepodge ending.

Truly a sad comment on Star Plus and it's handling of Ek Hasina Thi.

Will miss the show and the story of a determined woman setting out to find justice and avenge the wrong done to her family by rich and power hungry corrupt people.
