Ek Hasina Thi Written Update 30th October 2014

Dev tells the constable to distribute cake to all the jail inmates. At home, Suchitra asks Durga whether Dev ate the halwa, Durga tells Suchitra, Dev loves her very much and only spoke about her. Hearing this, Suchitra breaks down and Durga says tears are a sign of weakness. It's just a matter of few days; soon Dev will be out of the jail even if she has to do anything for that. Suchitra says how can she can thank her and Dr. Thakur. Durga says she's only doing her duty. Suchitra says God has chosen her for Dev. Durga plans to get Dev out by instigating Sakshi to attack Raima again. Once, that happens she can gather enough evidence.

Shaurya's new physiotherapist arrives and Sakshi welcomes her. The girl introduces herself as Sanjukta, Dr. Prabhakar's daughter. Sanjukta says she would not be able to treat Shaurya. Sakshi asks her the reason behind it and Sanjukta tells that she's a straight forward person and may be her no-nonsense' attitude wouldn't be appreciated by people. Sanjukta says that's exactly how she'll behave with Shaurya. He might not tolerate it but that's the way she deals with her patients. Sanjukta says she doesn't want to offend the Goenkas especially knowing how they deal with their enemies. Sakshi is impressed and says if she's successful in treating Shaurya then she will definitely be rewarded.

Sakshi takes Sanjukta to meet Shaurya who is eagerly waiting for his physiotherapist. Shaurya looks at Sanjukta and frowns for a moment. Sakshi introduces them and tells him not to mess around. Shaurya thinks how will he mess with her when she isn't even what he had expected. just a plain ordinary girl with spectacles. Sanjukta asks isn't he happy to see her? Shaurya says he had expected someone else & he won't be sitting on this wheelchair forever. Sanjukta tells him to keep his ego and attitude aside as he will need her help.

Sakshi reminds Durga that she has very little time to win her challenge. Durga smiles & offers Sakshi some prasad. Just then, Mr.Bose from Arnab Goenka Foundation (AGF) arrives to meet Suchitra. Rajnath reminds Mr. Bose that he is a servant working for the Goenkas. Suchitra comes and tells Raj that Mr. Bose works for AGF which is an entirely different entity from Goenka Empire. She also tells him that he is not a part of AFG and until Dev is back all the activities will be handled by Suchitra herself.

Mr. Bose reveals that the Cancer Research Project has been officially transferred to AGF. Now that Durga is Dev's wife, she is the legal head of this project. Rajnath & Sakshi are stunned. Suchitra says now Durga & Dev will fulfill Arnab's dream. Durga says the fomer Project Head needs to resign from the post. She tells Mr. Bose to get the resignation papers signed by Sakshi. Durga takes the file and says that she'll get Sakshi's signature on it.

Mr. Bose reads Arnab's will. According to the will, the 10% shares of AGF that were initially under Goenka Industries would now be transferred in Durga's name. Durga politely tells Suchitra that she doesn't need these shares. But Suchitra says it was their dream and hence she has full rights.

Durga thinks of a perfect time to start working. She hands over the papers to Sakshi asking for her autograph aka signature on the resignation papers.

PRECAP: Raj is furious and tells Sakshi that now Dev is more powerful since Durga has ownership over these shares. Raj asks Sakshi what was the need to get Durga married to Dev.
