Dev slowed down and ate up EHT! 😡

It has become all about him. His flashbacks, flashbacks about him, his being good or bad, pizza, pastries, lockets! Tilaks, dhagas, pujas!🥱

Earlier each episode used to unravel some mystery, drop some clue or hint. But since this Dev D (Dev Dheela) entered all intrigue has been flushed down the toilet!😵

Remember initial promos of EHT? It promised thrill, mystery, intense power play, challenges, mind games in a set up where nothing is as it seems. It looked so different! But what has it become now? Lame cotton candy!🤢

They stopped showing Payal due to Dev. They never showed flashbacks of Durga's parents due to Dev. They stopped showing corporate settings due to Dev (except for one moment where they showed him more intelligent and professional than Shaurya). They dropped tracks involving high profile ministers to give space to Dev. They stopped any more takedowns due to Dev. They made Shaurya some Darr type obsessed lover due to Dev (a cold womaniser and rapist is being perceived as some lover now by some!), they reduced a mystery and suspense show to a doofus love triangle due to Dev.😡

Durga had so many opportunities to expose RajMa affair and to trouble Shaurya. But she did not pursue fake degree scandal, did not do anything to reopen Payal rape case and has not done anything to investigate his role in Dev's shooting despite suspicion - JUST because CVs want to drag this to make a "rishta" between her and Goenka parivaar and harp on Dev.😒

They never showed why this guy was so clueless about his family. Why he remained out of touch for two years. How come he does not notice insult and bullying of his mother by Sakshi. Why he never warned Nitya about bad nature of his brother (as if he knew nothing!).😲

But just making a hero out of him and trying to lionize him in romance loving audience. 🥱

Add to it Bhuvnesh was a very weak actor initially and has improved only now even though he still has to improve dialogue delivery.👎🏼

Earlier this show used to comment on rape, manipulations of rich, double standards of society, subjugation of weak by strong etc. Now? Nothing. 😕

They made Dayal a joke too. Like wow! Why did you make Nitya Durga and funded such elaborate revenge if you wanted her to live a normal life?😲

Story has gone. Episodes just drag on with flashbacks, Shaurya's dreams about Dev, arguments over Dev, pizza, truck, apples. Instead of real enemies being taken down all time is wasted on spying over or death attempts for Dev! This show should be renamed "Ek Haseen naujawan tha" since it's all about Dev, Dev, Dev!

I only liked his qualities in contrast to Shaurya. Otherwise I am skeptical about him as a doormat, ingratiated, slow, naive, mamma's boy Goenka. I hated his wannabe, long drawn entry sequence copied from Dabangg 2.

This show is not different. It is a far cry from promos now. Lost all thrill, pace, intrigue. 😭

And I bet they are ignoring other targets and Payal because they want to focus on Dev D, wait till truth of Arnab Goenka is out and then make him principle revenge seeker too.

yes, its true that they have been giving dev a higher priority..bt initialy durga wanted to take revenge from even dev, dats was d main reason why she was sticking around dev..in order to make shorya jealous , obsessed, out of mind and harm dev..den dev would know about his beloved family's truth and learn a lesson..dis was all a part of the game plan only.n it worked too..bt later dev turns out to be innocent.n its not been showing only dev since past one month..u guys forgot about d shekhar drama..?? n durga is continuously has been avenging ..from mathur, to the asp(who got transferrd), the principal, den shekhar..n she evn included dev in d list..she also saved divya n her family...now dis girl deserves a break..she is nt a ruthless dehumanized object that she should not get time to think, reciprocate or evn feel...think about it..dev's added an angle to the show that it had been missing.
