Indeed parent - child relationship and most relationships lose emotional connect and sanctity when throne and money drive the family. No wonder princes in past used to imprison or kill their fathers to seize control of the throne and treasury.
Scenario is not too different even today. The rich and powerful, appear to be cultured but have most primitive and animal instincts driving their lives.
Goenkas are just an example.
On other hand those who have less concern about money and power are still humane. Like Suchitra and Dev.😊

I was amused when Shaurya went to him and tried to plead how he knew his nature...he cannot help it if he wants something. And threatens Rajnath if he got Dev removed from the project or not. Meethi chhuri tactics.😆

I do not see it as just a putdown. I also felt it was like a coaching to Shaurya by an experienced hand. He could play better when dealing with others. But not mess with the head of the clan. Kameenapan all the way.😆
Indeed before setting out to exploit others' weaknesses one should ensure he has no weakness himself or at least know how to prevent others from using his weaknesses against him.
I am sure it will apply to Durga also once Goenka trio learns of her plotting against them.

Suchitra is a nice, sweet woman. 😊 I like her calm demeanour and earnest smile. She radiates goodness.❤️ She seems to like Durga and likes her working with Dev. But why? Didn't she know Shaurya expressing fondness for Durga? Hadn't she talked about them to Sakshi?

Writers are not consistent on this one. Suchitra never rebels against other Goenkas or lets Dev partake in what they like.😕

I agree with his suspicion of Durga wearing a mask but why does he want to unmask her? Why so obsessed with her? He seems more obsessed with her than finding truth about Payal and her case!😲

Dayal is kind of careless with Durga's safety IMO. 😕 He knows Shaurya lusts for her and Sakshi suspects her. He knows how slimy Goenkas are. They barge into his home anytime. Why does he not secure Durga? Why leave her alone at home? And let her travel alone with Goenka boys? Considering that Durga is openly playing with fire, Dayal is doing less to keep her safe. He should give Durga a driver than let her be driven around by Goenka boys, especially Shaurya.
Precap is interesting. 😊 Durga not having any idea of US and being unlike real Durga who lived in US will be Nitya's undoing. Kind of like Kaalicharan film, in which Shatrughan Sinha gets caught by the villain as he does not know English.
She changed topic while talking to Dev. But she cannot dodge Sakshi easily. Sakshi is too quick witted. She may remember that barsi puja and sometime join dots to track down Nitya posing as Durga!
